Gasway have been excellent in the survey / installation of my new boiler. From the beginning with Danny surveying, to the work being carried out by Carl the engineer installing the boiler and Jack the electrician. The work was done over two days in a very tidy fashion and they were all very polite, keeping me informed of how things were going. I'm a happy customer and I would certainly recommend Gasway.

Fabulous, efficient service from Gasway after a gas leak was detected by a representative of Cadent as coming from a hole in an outside pipe. Initial contact at 13.45 to engineer attending and completing the assessment at 15.45, everything explained to me with useful safety advice. Can't fault the organisation. Big thanks to Darren Gardner, the engineer. Veronica Nimmo

On 3rd April 2023, our boiler packed up. The engineer said it needed a new pcb and might take a week. On the 13th April I received an email booking us in for today, the 24th April. Today I have just had a phone call saying they will now be coming on the 26th April. After a lengthy wait on the phone, where they denied the email, they still cannot come out until Wednesday. I have a terminal lung and heart condition, and am suffering from living in a cold house. The tiny 20watt fan heater they left us, is pointless at heating a room up, and is costing around £5 an hour to run. This is absolutely not good enough, particularly in the coldest spring we've had for years!

The service from Gasway is exceptional. I received text's to remind me of the appointment, also a text to inform me that the engineer was on his way. Martin the engineer was polite, knowledgeable and explained exactly what had been carried out. Would highly recommend their services.

If I could give 0 stars it would still be too many for this useless model of a business……they never keep an appointment……they don’t even have the courtesy to postpone or let the customer know they aren’t coming………Another example of a completely broken system………I feel sorry for the engineers who are always helpful and apologetic for the poor conduct shown by their employers…….

New heating systems installed. Boiler, radiators and cylinder, November 2022. I have had a leaking radiator "fixed" 3/4 times, leaking boiler, heating and water heater broken downa couple of times. Call outs arranged and only 1 engineer out of 3 turned up! Disgusting service, kept my cool in a phonecall but customer services were very condescending. I have to keep taking time off work for this 😡

Peccato che non posso mettere zero stelle ⭐️, firmo un contratto x €0,18 kw e alla prima fattura pagolpiù di 1€ al kw, non parliamo del gas!! X questa azienda non esiste lettura mensile dei consumi , il cliente deve comunicare tt i mesi tra il 28 ed il 30 altrimenti sono batoste!!!’ Chiudo il contratto nauseato dopo pochi mesi perché mi stanno dissanguando e continuo a ricevere fatture nonostante io abbia un nuovo gestore ! Chiamo e mi dicono che inviano fatture stimate finché a loro non arriva comunicazione che non sono più cliente. 😡 Tenetevi lontanissimi se non volete finire in bancarotta . Pessimi.

I trusted Gasway to install a "new" boiler and central heating system. The workmanship was unsatisfactory, problems not rectified. Now only three years of use there is such a bad leak of pressure in the system I have no option other than to write it all off and install a new system, what a waste of our money, time and effort. I would not recommend the company.

Fantastic service; Gasway have been looking after our old back-boiler for years. We had a thermostat fail us last week. Nathan came out; diagnosed the problem and came back the following day with new parts and got us up-and-running again. Gasway has never let us down. I highly recommend this company.

Having had an issue with my boiler I made a complaint through my housing association. Gasway 'customer service' called me and asked me to email some documents and promised to call me back the following week. That was over a month ago and despite my housing association contacting them again 9 days ago, still no call.

Grumpy, overtalking engineer failed to solve the problems with my Daughter's air sourced heating system. It worked for one day after the visit and then not. My Daughter complained and asked for a further visit but not from that engineer. Enter Dad to meet and greet. He attended despite my Daughter's request and was ill mannered from the start. After lots of phone calls to the system manufacturer the system was condemned. No problem with that. When I signed for the work he made a comment about my Daughter's complaint. I glossed over it and got into my car to drive in a short distance to home. I noticed he had not driven off but had parked up a little further away, but thought nothing of it. The next thing I know the police are on my doorstep accusing me of drink driving and claiming I had alcohol in my vehicle! It was water...... No problems with the voluntary breath test. Vindictive or what?

Please don’t use this company. 5 call-outs only 3 turn-ups, 2 no shows, changed gas value (didn’t fix fault) tried to claim that fan was faulty too which would cost a lot of money and after getting a reputable engineer in to help after 19 days without heating we found out it was the circuit board. Our engineer was baffled as to why 2 separate engineers from Gasway couldn’t work that out. I know why, they tried to absolutely fleece us. I will tell everyone I can to steer clear they have no idea what they are doing or worse they are bordering criminal in charging for things that don’t need fixing any ignoring what is the actual cause in the hope it will result in further call-outs.

The gasway employee I spoke to today I doubt as even ever seen a gas metre. He left it so my gas was leaking told me the firemen were coming & didn’t even know how to turn the gas metre off. He said gasway won’t attend their contracted 24 hours refused to let me speak to someone who knew what they were doing. It’s DANGEROUS and to be honest the less I have to do with this SHAM the better.

Gasway serviced our boiler on the eighth of December gave it a clean bill of health the next day seemed a bit noisy but thought nothing of it noise got progressively worse until it got so bad it felt like it would shake itself to peices or explode so boxing day turned it off completely.rang gasway today 27 dec to be told no engineer avaliable untill 2 January so here we are no heating no hot water ice on the ground outside thanks gasway thanks alot been a customer for ten years but no more

Had an "engineer" out that was in a rush to finish, hadnt completed the job fully causing the leak off pipework to leak worse than it was before. Rang up to get someone to come out as the boiler is no longer working due to insufficient water in the system. We where told they cant do nothing, even with young children in the house and that we have to buy heaters to heat our house. Which would cost an extortionate amount to run!! Which we cannot afford. Gasway should not have the contract if they cannot keep up with the demand!! We have been spoken to awfully on the phone by a "proffesional" adivisor, kept talking over the top of us and kept telling us they needed to end the call because if other calls! Did not want to help at all! Absolutey useless contractors!

Giving GASWAY 1star is way above what this company deserves. Over the course of two weeks after finding that the property I had just purchased had one of the two boilers showing a fault. A visit from the first engineer, who was quite abrupt, told me that he didnt have time to investigate fully but would return in two days time which i had no choice but to accept. The engineer returned again on the friday afternoon and was overheard by my painters that he really didnt want to be here as it was a Friday night. He said that the one boiler was not usable and put a sticker on it, taking pictures. What he failed to do after condeming it was to disconnect it from the power supply (gas) and the water. I was promised a visit from qaulified engineer who would quote for a new boiler which I had agreed to. After three days had past with no hot water or heat in minus three temps i heard nothing so I called Gasway to find out what was happening. I shouldnt have bothered, I was left on hold for over fourty five minutes, being put back to the same operator who couldnt help. I have written four emails marked Urgent, I have recieved no reply. The tipping point for me was when I heard water gushing from the condemed boiler this morning, luckily i was in and was able to put a bucket under to catch the scolding water which was dripping over all of the electrics. After receiving a huge shock from the electrics i called and emailed again, telling them of the urgency. I was told the company was busy and they would try to get someone out to see what was going on. A complete shambles of a company, anyone reading this i would stay clear of them. I am cancelling my GOLD subscription with them as quite frankly i do not trust the shafters. The company is full of unexperienced apprentices on low salaries who have no clue what customer service is. Thankfully I made a few calls and within one hour i had a fabulous company here who turned off the water and disconnected the faulty boiler from the gas, they said that this should have been condemmed and disconnected immediately, they also couldnt understand why the engineer had stuffed blue roll inside the boiler which was flamable. Conclusion - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they impose a risk to your life and home.

Would have given them no stars if i could. WEwaited two weeks for a rearranged appointment. they knew what replacement part was needed but sent two fitters to confirm have to wait another few weeks before they can come and fit it . the only thing missing was a bale of hay for their horse.

I have had a problem with my 4 year old boiler since Gasway serviced it in May. I have reported this numerous times. It slowly got worse and the boiler stopped functioning, and left me with no hot water and heating. The boiler kept trying to fire up and really smelled of gas. It used £2.73 of gas in minutes trying to fire up and failing. I called Gasway and reported all the above. As per the other reviews, waited in on the day the engineer was due, only to be called whilst waiting for them to arrive and told they were too busy so could come the next day. I explained again I could smell gas and I had been several days without hot water and heating, with a 7 year old who was unwell. Gasway did nothing and the lady om the phone was rude. I waited in the next day and the engineer turned up and said it was the thermostat. He ignored me explaining that the boiler kept having an error code and ignored me saying it smelled of gas. I came home that night and the boiler was broken again ( not surprising as it wasn't the thermostat). I called Gasway again and explained all the above and that there was a smell of gas. They said they would bring the engineer back the next day. I waited in again and then got a call from him saying he thought it was the ignition and he was ordering the part and he would come the next day. He eventually attended on the Friday morning, I explained that the error code in the boiler wasn't correct for an ignition fault, and again said about the gas smell. When he changed the ignition it was right near to the top of my boiler and I stood next to the engineer and asked him about a cap on the top of the boiler. Again, I was ignored and told its all irrelevant and that they have the experience. I came home again that night and the boiler was broken again, and really smelled of gas. I called gasway again and explained the whole saga again, they said they couldn't do anything as the job was "finished". Throughout this, Gasway have repeatedly sent me back to my insurer ( D&G) to get new jobs raised even though they haven't finished the job in the first place which has meant I spent many hours on the phone trying to get someone to help to no avail. I called again Saturday morning and got hold of a nice young woman at Gasway and went through all the above, and told her again there was a smell of gas. She said they had to call Cadent due to the gas smell and we had to evacuate the property. I was shocked as by this point I had spoken to 6 or 7 people at gasway on the phone and told them about the smell and the engineer had been several times and noone had said this before. The lady checked and said that noone had put any notes about the gas smell and she didn't know why, and that Gasway should have got Cadent round straight away as soon as i mentioned smelling gas. She then contacted Cadent immediately. Cadent came round and found the cap onto the top of my relatively new boiler had a 3 inch split in it which was clearly there for some months and there was a carbon monoxide leak!!! We were disconnected from the gas by Cadent. Cadent said the hole was obvious and dangerous. I was very shocked and upset that me and my son had been put in serious danger by Gasway and been breathing in carbon monoxide. A Gasway engineer then turned up and reconnected us and saw the hole, he admitted that it was obvoous that this was the cause of the issues. He was very nice and apologised. He put the part on order, but had to gaffa tape up the hole in the boiler. That was nearly 10 days ago. I have phoned Gasway twice and they still dont have the part ( a plastic cap you can get from Plumbase). The Contact Centre have emailed the department twice asking them to call me but i havent heard anything. I still dont have heating or hot water!!! It has now been three weeks without heating and hot water and I have a 3 inch hole in my boiler which is held together with gaffa tape. Gasway seemingly don't have anywhere you can complain to. To say there service is sub standard is not sufficient in the slightest. It is actually down right dangerous
