Hopeless customer service. On a Platinum cover plan but that doesn't mean anything, waited five days without hot water and heating repair despite having three visits prior for the same problem. On two occasions the engineer had no intention of repairing the boiler as it was an intermittent fault. How can it be intermittent when he keeps happening - sounds more like an ongoing fault.

Had used Gasway for Boiler servicing before and had been happy with them. However I’d booked one appointment which was then cancelled whilst We were waiting for them to arrive, rebooked for couple of weeks on for a morning appoint., 8.00-12.00, as out in the afternoon and received a confirmation text. On the day I’d had no other confirmation so decided to call and confirm, to be told they would be there between 12.00-16.00 and that this had been the agreed time slot. It wasn’t! I cancelled and won’t use again…

Abbiamo fatto il gas con questa compagnia per due utenze una a Roma una a Novara. Stiamo pagando meno di un euro e sono tutti molto gentili.

Have used gasway for years,never again, we had our boiler serviced recently and discovered a leak after the service engineer left,contacted gasway they sent someone back a couple of days later he didn't have the correct seal for the central heating system filler, so had to come back again, he couldn't undo said filter so told us we would have to pay for a new one, at the cost of £175 plus fitting which will come to £350,what a joke, as it wasn't leaking before he came,they are having a laugh.

would give no stars if i could. customer service assistant was ok there team leader/supervisor on the otherhand was a disgrace and should consider a different career path, i believe her name was Lydia

Waited in all day for a new boiler to be fitted...appointment done a month or so ago.Not even a phone call to say noone coming.Next time they send a letter telling me theyre coming to service anything and a time theyve made ,they can jolly well fit in with me after this.Got better things to do than wait for them all day

We have had a lot of problems with Gasway where we had to stay in on 14 separate occasions for arranged appointments between April to August, waiting for engineers who did not turn up, or turning up not trained on our air source heating and wasting our time, also leaving radiators and the heating not working for most days. When my wife spoke to customer care they did not care or understand why we were upset.

called gasway as i had a a leek appointment was made but had to be re book i told it had to be a pm appointment as i had work in morning engineer turned up in the morning and called me to say he was at my address and wondered why i was not in said another appointment had to be book for next week i then phoned gas way to make a complaint despite telling gas way it is affecting my electrics which is class as a emergencies i still have no idea when they will be coming out to look at it

Boiler not working,2 guys turned up & clearly didn't know what the fault was, suggested it could be the control board (an expensive part) but weren't sure. Said they'd have to come back with parts but wouldn't leave until I paid them £80 there and then , I felt I was being robbed. They also left a "condemned do not use" notice on the boiler at a time when it was freezing cold & we needed heat. After they were gone I called the boiler manufacturers technical help line, a nice guy told me from the readings on the display it sounded like the temperature sensor, I sourced one from a plumbers merchant locally for £75 & it was easy to fit. This solved the issue & the boiler has worked fine ever since. Had it serviced by a reputable plumber who I'd use again Never again will I use Gasway

My experience of Gasway has usually been positive, but my wife's has not. Yesterday two men visited to do a boiler service. They were grumpy about parking as soon as she opened the door, and would not then park where they were asked to. They talked over her, would not answer her questions properly, and were sarcastic. As a result I (a) do not really believe their "can't get parts", (b) we will not in any case be asking them for a quote for a new boiler, and (c) I will not be renewing our service contract at another property when the guarantee runs out. Their attitude was rude and misogynistic, and as a result they are losing thousands of pounds worth of business.

How can gasway justify a fine of over 300.00 to my son for not being in for a electrical check just because he never rang them,he on benefits as he has mental health issues. I think that's discusting.

Absolute waste of space of a company. Fed up with every single time I have to deal with them for my rented property. Could not organise a p!ss up in a brewery!

They never answer the phone at whatever time of the day , particularly when you are trying to rebook an appointment , and do not try the e mail I'm still waiting for a response from the 21st April . Engineers are brilliant but sadly the customer service is appalling.And like previous comments I wish TP had a zero scale .

If I could give zero stars I would. Been without hot water now for 12 days and after 5 Engineer visits we have got to wait another 6 days for them to come so over Bank Holiday weekend no hot water. The first engineer they sent was a plumber so wouldn't even look at it, the second one they sent was a gas engineer although they knew problem was with oil boiler, the 3rd and 4th was no good, had to call someone for help and the 5th callout was so busy didn't have time to help, said he would report it. On phone today 1st person told us they didn't have anyone available until Tuesday and second one said they didn't have the part they think has gone wrong so blatantly lying to us. I work weekends nights and Bank Holidays so why candy these useless people do the same. Don't even think of taking out contract with these cowboys.

If I could this company 0 stars I would. An absolute joke of a company. No effort or compassion with any of their staff. If you're not being messed about with engineers not turning up to appointments, they palm you off with repairs not being made and this is not the first time I have been left for a period of time without a working boiler. If I had the choice I would steer well clear of this company, but unfortunately they are instructed by my housing association. Dealing with their customer service agents is like smashing your head against a brick wall. Constantly repeating yourself and getting no where. No clear or accessible complaints procedure/policy either, and according to their agents, no email address to send said complaint.

Just had a new gas central heating system installed, with new combi boiler and 5 radiators. I cannot praise the two heating engineers high enough. Their workmanship was excellent, very polite and professional. Well done Gasway.

We had a new oil boiler installed recently by Gasway. The team were friendly and helpful, explaining what had been done at the end of each day and what was still to do. The builder did a great job of the brickwork outside as we needed a new flue putting in. He also boxed in the pipes. The boiler engineer worked carefully and didn’t rush but completed well within the time frame given. There was a small issue with the boiler losing pressure a few days after completion but the engineer made another visit to reset and check for leaks - none were apparent. Overall really happy with it. Would recommend to friends and family.

Gasway failed to service my heat source heating system for the last 2 years,the heating system over pressurized a pressure vessel causing the vessel to split and pouring hundreds of gallons of water through my ceiling and ruining my living room carpet.This was 4 weeks ago and Yes gasway installed a new pressure vessel,but have left me in limbo as to putting right the damaged caused,due to there negligence.

Well where do I start, I realised after 4 years of paying for a boiler plan to be serviced and looked after , it had not been done, my mother who died in 2017 was the one that organised this and obviously my father didn't realise it was something he had to do and so was not done, after ringing to explain this and raising a complaint regarding it I was told in no uncertain terms it was my responsibility. So lets just pay these companies for nothing shall we? The complaint was not raised in the first instance and so now after telling me that more money was needed to do a certificate of another gas appliance and being told my initial complaint was not raised I have in no uncertain terms told them where to go. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Engineer attended today for annual boiler service. Absolutely brilliant - a part needed replacing and he went the extra mile to get the part and came back to fix it half an hour letter. Thanks.
