I used their service in the past(2018) with a good memory but now i need really to change my mind on the firm. 80% of my emails were deliberately ignored and didnn't porvided the expected support

Terrible. Basic transfers of land not completed and little or no service from GP. We have lost all faith in them even though this has been paid for previously will seek a new company and start again. Two years down the line we have given up and will be using an alternative. Disappointing as a lot of time went into doing applications.

Stephen is by far the best solicitor I have ever known or have been involved with. I have had precious experiences in purchasing and selling properties (home) and business but my experience with Stephen and his team Nadine and Ellie has been exceptional. He is a brilliant communicator, he is fantastic, prompt and keep you informed at every stage of conveyance. Simply outstanding solicitor. He made the journey totally stress free. We have been in the process of selling our home since mid-January 24. From a number of Solicitors we were made aware of, we selected Glover Priest Solicitors Lichfield based on location, but mostly on their early approachability during our scoping. What a choice we made! This Company are a fine example of how to do business. The ease of process via online documentation is fantastic. Communication and ease of contacting them if questions arose, is easily THE best we have experienced during any house purchase or sale. They could (and should) school others in how to positively manage customers, and how to best support the selling process. They have made what can sometimes be an extremely stressful experience, an absolute pleasure! The team allocated to us of Stephen, Nadine and Ellie, stand out in their field of expertise as the most fantastic professionals. I contacted glover priest initially 26th of Jan 23 in good time for my wedding in June 23 to arrange a pre nuptial agreement. As you can imagine the timeline is imperative to secure an agreement before the wedding. I spoke to a solicitor and made full payment 5/2/23. Appointments were postponed at short notice on a couple of occasions due to the solicitor being busy. Obviously time is of the essence as a draft agreement needed to be completed before the wedding, as after my partner could have refused to sign anything. Contact was few and far between but I assumed the solicitors would have this in hand, and chased them up. Because of the delays, sadly it was apparent that my prenuptial agreement had no chance of being completed before the wedding. So we had to change it to a post nuptial agreement. I was very unhappy because I knew I was now vulnerable, should my partner not agree with my terms or should he refuse to sign. I felt worried my assets could be at risk. Up until the prenuptial point prior to the wedding, he was in agreement with signing a pre nup without too much fuss, and knew I was arranging it. After the wedding we had endless arguments about the pre/post nup. He was scrutinising what my solicitor was saying and it felt like we were negotiating a divorce. This in itself caused unnecessary bad feeling and a strain on our relationship. Due to this I felt pressured into getting the post nuptial agreement completed as quickly as possible, as at this point as it had gone on so long, it was causing problems, and it needed to be sorted once and for all. The solicitor made good points about my entitlement but my partner disagreed and i had to agree with him in the end, and get a document in place that was not what it could have been should the solicitors have acted in a timely manner. I made a complaint in August 23 about the delays and the stress it was causing in my relationship, and insisted on coming to their office, as everything had been dealt with over the phone up to that point. That seemed to push things and the post nuptial agreement was finally posted to us in November 23. **There is no malice intended with this review** But it was an extremely stressful time due to the delays. I did not feel my pre nuptial agreement was a priority to this company. It also worries me that if anyone else is considering a prenuptial agreement and they have a lot to lose they should go to someone who will protect them properly.

Superb communication and progress throughout the sale of sale of a property. Very efficient. Polite staff very good responses and constantly updating you with any information that come in relevant to the property. Tried cheaper and they were just not as good and very slow. Previously paid far more and got service which was worse. I will use them again.

I recently purchased from the council my 1 bed room flat and GloverPriest to handle the legal side. I definitely chosen the right firm. They were professional and on the phone responding whenever l had a query. We have worked with glover priest for the past 4 years now rennovation and sale of property Rhys has helped us buy and sell property ten times , including our own property We have found rhys and glover priest an excellent company who keep you up to date thew every step of buying and selling process A new gentleman rayhan has helped alongside ryhs on the last sale , rayhan has been excellent , very pro active and has helped the sale process move along very quickly A mention too for kerry for her hard work An excellent team at great barr office , see you for our next project Jamie and Tracy

The sale took far too long. The conveyancer was changed at least 3 times. Laura was the only one to make any progress. The information requested had to be supplied several times over. Communication until Laura took over was pathetic.

Dear Laura, I really want you to know how pleased I was with the service I received from Glover Priest when I moved house. The procedure was complicated (I seem to attract complication) and I contacted five law firms. Some were ridiculously expensive. Some did not know how to do it. One even told me definitively it can’t be done. Some did not even come back to me. I ended up instructing Glover Priest and my solicitor was Caroline Pain and her team of Jessica Wark, Sue Loftus, Amy Garmson and Elaine Mair. They were all extraordinary competent and easy to deal with but, when we were over halfway through, Caroline told me she was leaving. Initially, I panicked but I really needn’t have. Within a day, Laura had taken over and, although just back from leave, she was well up to speed and able to answer my interrogation (Sorry!) the next day. I was so impressed. Laura, with Hayley Arnold and Helena Buen-Himio, took the sale to completion, Points I love about Glover Priest: • There was always a human to speak to • They were always Patient and kind. I am diagnosed Autistic and this causes me endless problems dealing with people. I always have to explain what I am and what I mean. Not with Glover Priest. I never had to explain myself with you. • They are highly competent and if they do not know the answer they find out and get back to me without me having to chase them. • They always did what they said they would, when they said they would. • There was not one single surprise when the bill came. I have dealt with solicitors in the past, through business, and learned to be careful before I opened my mouth to ask a question because of the inevitable bill that would follow. That was not the case here. Whenever I asked something additional, they said in advance exactly what that would do to the bill before I committed, and then they kept their word. Extraordinary! I wholeheartedly heartedly recommend Glover Priest and, even though I hope I will never have to use a solicitor again, If I need to, I know where I will go. Thank you so much!

We sold our house through Purplebricks and were appointed a firm from their panel, however we were unhappy with them and could never get an update from them so we appointed GloverPriest. They were fantastic, so much so that we also used them for our purchase too, Musrat Hussain in particular was very proactive and we felt like we were dealing with professionals from the moment we instructed them. Very happy with the experience with them.
