Sarah masson and dawn waspe team are the worst. Sarah the conveyancer doesn't bother reading or responding to emails. She always misses emails and claims to never receive them and magically finds them 2 weeks later. What a lazy rude jealous woman, and almost cost me the sale. The sellers are constantly sending me angry emails or are worried something is wrong simply because she doesn't bother responding to anyone. If you email her she'll say theres no update, suddenly when u call she'll only tell you theres an update if you ask her more than once. What rubbish! Done with glover won't be going back.
Chloe was very helpful during our process. Always quick to reply via email and happy to provide advice over the phone. She made this process as painless as possible which we were grateful for since this was our first home.
Decent service, but the ususal problems there are with sollicitors such as slow replies, avoiding questions and such. They were recommended to me by Homeowners alliance but not with the higher price I paid for their service
We bought a flat with Gloverpriest solicitors in 2019 (RA) and I was I have to say pretty shocked with the service. Recommended by our bank- poor communication,slow- didn't reply to emails, rude on the phone and basically incredibly poor customer service. I remember telling friends about it and them telling me 'well that's solicitor's for you' so I assumed ( wrongly) this was normal. Fast forward almost 3 years we have since used different solicitors I researched carefully and they made me realise glover priest ( maybe it's just that particular solicitor) was TERRIBLE. We have amazing solicitors now we have used twice who treat us with dignity and respect and are so fast. Unfortunately had to contact RA about claiming back SDLT from our 2019 purchase as they paid it but omitted to tell us the HMRC code and we are unable to reclaim the money back without them giving it to us. Called them up and they gave us RA email and her assistant. Sent 3 emails over the course of many weeks with no response. Given how they were when we used them I really was not surprised. Its stressful as its for claiming back money we need for a house purchase and have made this clear. I called up telling them this..obviously RA not available ( what a surprise as always) and said I wanted to make a complaint. I was told the only way to make a complaint was to do this directly with RA...what!!! I said I couldn't believe it and my complaint was that she never replies to emails which is not a new thing so how can I complain. They told me they would ensure she contacts me with the details I need. I told them I didn't have confidence she would and well over a week later no response. Honestly disgusting and shows they do not value clients. I told a friend about reclaiming sdlt for a property she sold and bought 2 years ago ..she got a reply in 3 weeks with her hmrc code from her ( clearly different) solicitor. I have sought advice and if they do not accept my complaint over the phone I will contact the legal ombudsman..honestly this type of response (or lack of) is completely unacceptable. Please DO NOT USE these solicitors, rude,slow,unhelpful and do not value clients at all. Not all solicitors are like this at this price as I have found. So for peace of mind please please choose another solicitor.
Really poor. Called with an urgent probate issue. Solicitor who took the call was very helpful, but he was conveyancing - so passed details to a probate colleague. A junior from the probate office then called to stress how busy her "boss" was and generally had a dismissive attitude. She was a blocker. Found constructive legal help elsewhere.
The sale of my house was dealt with efficiently and professionally. Highly recommend.

To all extents and purposes you really do get what you paid for when it comes to lawyers and solicitors when buying a house. No claim can be better validated here. I chose GloverPriest because they were Β£500 cheaper than the next nearest competitor. At the time of signing trust pilot reviews were 4.2. Now 3.5 and quite rightly. Listing the issues below - which are common amongst other reviews on trustpilot. 1. Complete lack of communication from your assigned solicitor (in my case VM). Always deflect phone calls to deputy/ paralegal JQ with no knowledge of your own development. 2. Huge delays in processing your application. They quote average turnaround time to exchange falls within national standards of 8-12 weeks. Mine took 6 months. 3. Lying - they repeatedly say the delays are your fault. Waiting for paperwork your end. Yet they usually have all the paperwork. Sit on it. And unless threatened with legal action act on it. One example included copies of my passport. The second example was sitting on my notice for completion. 4. Miss key information. My contract had a schematic of a completely different property on it. This was changed after I had highlighted the inaccuracy. It does make you question how scrupulous the contract has been looked over if they don't even pick up the wrong development has been included in the contract! A further example was cladding. Despite me asking relevant questions regarding no cladding in the property GP failed to interrogate the service charges and question the legality of key points before it was too late. What they prefer doing is writing a copy and paste message from the counterparty solicitor without offering advice on their own accord. This was a common theme throughout. In the end. I was doing the chasing, critically appraising the contract and liasing with the developers myself with the mortgage brokers help. All with 3000 down the drain despite playing the solicitors role. If you are reading this. Please don't make my mistake and pay that little bit extra to go with a more reputable firm.
Horrible service, constant delays and lies throughout then dropped the case when we complained about the service (or lack of) complaints do not get handled or acknowledged when following their procedure so this has been escalated to the obusimon. Avoid if you do not want your mental health to be affected. Glover priest will allude to aggressive calls however after 16 attempts to call to speak to someone due to lack of communication understandably there is frustration. Our complaint stands for the shocking service received and will continue to escalate this further. Due to the amount of terrible reviews received stating the same thing glover priest need to take accountability for their failures.
Never use them. The bank reccomended them while buying my flat. They are in their list. It took them 8 months until to complete. The solicitor was not responding to me or to agents. Only when the banker was chasing she was responding. This is not a big issue as the fact that a year after she asks for extra money. 6 months later the completion date she sent me that my case was archived. However, a year later she is asking me for extra money as didn't assigned me to the agency. They demended the money as if I don't give them, I will not be able to get leashold copy while selling.This post was done in July since then I sent to website "contact us". No response. I called and I was advised to send to my solicitor's manager as per details given. I sent everything in detail to her. Guess what! Still no response. All I want to say is that the worst service could be, witn no respect to customers.I am still not assigned to Leasing. It is still almost 2 years. Honestly, what else should I do please?
