Jun 25,2024I requested a domain cancellation for a domain I'm not using, but they responded that it can only be done a couple of weeks before renewal and that they can't cancel the auto-renewal. This seems really strange.

I’ve had accounts with several other hosting and domain companies over the years. Greengeeks has been more responsive and effective and patient in helping me with big and small issues than any other company has. Gg was recommended to me based on pricing, but it has been the service and communication that has wowed me. I am not being compensated or incentivized to write this. I am genuinely pleased and delighted with this company.

Jun 05,2024I would like to warn against the GreenGeeks affiliate program because it is a fraudulent company that steals the work effort and close the account for no reason. They closed my account two weeks before I paid so that they would not pay me my profits amounting to $600 and they claim that the referrals are not of good quality and this is a reason that condemns them even more because in the first place it is not my problem. ( Hello mady, The account will remain suspended, due to suspicious activity and concern over the quality of the signups you've sent to GreenGeeks. The client will use his own hosting, and after communicating with them, they will not respond to you because they say that you have violated the conditions, and of course they cannot give any reason other than that. Do not work with this company ever, ever, ever, and I will take the necessary measures against them because I will never work for free. Ironically there is no SEO to talk to. If there is someone here who has a mind to understand, contact me so I can get my money or go to court. After your reply this: [In general, suspicious behavior may occur when multiple signups happen simultaneously, the signups do not respond to our emails, or the websites associated with the signups are the same or similar.] All of these reasons do not apply to me and all subscriptions follow the terms and conditions and you are telling me to contact support, do you think I did not do that!! I wrote to them repeatedly, but they deliberately did not respond and closed the ticket that was always opened! This behavior indicates and confirms my credibility and the credibility of all those who were deceived. As I see, there is a consensus that the company closes customer affiliate accounts so that it does not pay any commission and gets customers for free! Ridiculous reasons are given for clever deception

Jun 01,2024Just a great company. No company is perfect and I think reviewers on Trust Pilot are sometimes too quick to criticize. Like all of us, I have had some terrible experiences with certain service providers. However for Green Geeks, they are as good as you can realistically expect them to be in terms of their product and responsiveness of their customer service team. Their environmental efforts are just so great too. I would highly recommend Green Geeks.

May 29,2024I was unhappy with other hosting providers for my clients since neither of the 3 would upgrade PHP or MySQL to supported releases. One of my clients has a critical business need to be on PHP 8.2 and the former hosting service told him to get on a dedicated server. I started moving to Green Geeks and have zero issues with support. I have two more clients to move to Green Geeks.

May 26,2024Most of the time, the hosting worked OK, uses standard cpanel install, EXCEPT: - Sites would experience unexpected downtime and crashes. - Despite selling "wordpress" plans, they refuse to support database errors even if you hadn't touched your sites for months and it's clear the problem is on their end. - The biggest shafting is what you get at the very end when your term is up. Price goes up 3.5x what you originally paid 3 years ago AND THEY DISABLE BACKUPS, keeping you from leaving. They claim "unlimited storage" for the service but concocted a rule that said backups are disabled over 10GB and refused to enable it. And my account was below 8GB! They are shady and conniving enough to motivate me to write this long rant. Stay away. These guys aren't even good at business. Their dirty tactics motivated me to write this review AND it will cost them way more to acquire a new customer than to sign an old one up at a discounted rate. Good riddance.

I am not a web designer (total noob), and fairly often something happens that I have no idea how to handle, but GG tech-support is always easily accessible, helpful, efficient, and friendly.

May 24,2024Customer Support is not helpful. I followed the tutorial on GreenGeeks website about meta-tags and wordpress. When the tutorial didn't match what I was seeing I contacted customer support who couldn't explain so my case was escalated. The reply I received, "Thank you for contacting GreenGeeks. If you require assistance with website development, we kindly suggest that you reach out to a web developer to get the best possible support for your specific scenario. While we would love to provide more assistance, please understand that GreenGeeks does not provide assistance with website developmental issues, as outlined in the Scope of GreenGeeks Support. May 18,2024This review relates to their managed VPS, which I have used for several years. Excellent uptime, excellent tech support. I had no problems with them but eventually had to leave because the price (which is very affordable compared to other hosts) was too high compared to what my business was making. So I switched to shared hosting elsewhere. If you're looking for a managed VPS at a reasonable price point, GreenGeeks is definitely the place to go. I love that they have an environmentally conscious mission too.

Never buy this hosting from GreenGeeks website, it is a very bad hosting, its support is even worse I bought hosting from GreenGeeks website but its interface is very bad then I asked for help from their support team but no one helped me I was very upset with Greengeeks Hosting. The day I bought the hosting I messaged for a refund. I did not receive any response from Greengeeks. Then I Gmailed and messaged the Support team. I got a reply after 4 days. I bought a Greengeeks plan worth $34.40. I was told by Greengeek that I would get my hosting refunded within 3 to 5 days. It has been 12 days now but I have not got my money refunded. I request you to never buy hosting from Greengeek even by mistake, this is a very bad hosting
