Jul 20,2019The process of forming a business is an involved and complex undertaking. For me personally, a person who is disabled with an incurable disease, someone who is challenged everyday just with what most people call routine. Harvard Business Services took the extra steps to keep me informed and engaged in the process. I was a Washington State Journeyman Electrician and the Chief Engineer of several medical buildings around Swedish Hospital in downtown Seattle before becoming fully disabled and forcing me to retire early from business life, before I turned 50. Everyone I spoke to and worked with at HBS were so forthcoming of the process and encouraged me to keep going with starting Curtis Neurosciences, a company that reflects my personal experience with an alternative therapy for brain related disablilites called Neuroplasticity that I have practice for the last eleven years. When I was a Chief I was involved in an "Excellence" Program that we called Level 5. Scoring a 5 was the absolute best for the Engineers that were members of my team. When the company documents arrived at my front door of my Edmonds home from HBS and I opened the FedEx box and saw the binder so perfectly arranged even with the stamp bound to the clip.
