Jul 25,2023I received my last order of bare rooted beach hedging in February this year. From my previous experience going back to 2019 on each occasion I have been most impressed at the quality of the product delivered, healthy young trees bundled together in a strong carboard box. Every tree planted thrived and are now growing well soon to make an impressive hedge. Therefore I would highly recommend Hedges Direct. No need to look anywhere else. Thank you

Jul 25,2023The plant dispatch was delayed by more than a week. This was to replace a bay tree that we thought had been killed by the frost. When the replacement arrived, I saw some new growth comming from the old plant at the ground, so I cut off all the old dead plant. Then planted the new one next to it. Now a two months later the old plant (effectivly starting from nothing) is taller (grown 1m in this time) as looking very healthy while the new one has a lot of yellow leaves and only a little new growth.

Jul 25,2023Delivered on time but the quality of the plants was not good. 50% are still twigs with a few small leaves at the top. Disappointing.

Jul 25,2023The plants arrived promptly and were all in good condition. I followed all the advice on the web site regarding planting and all plants are now thriving with quite a bit of growth. I also used Empath Rootgrow sprinkled in each hole at the time of planting. The plants are slightly exposed and have had to withstand some quite Windy conditions since planting but they don’t seem to have been adversely affected. I’m very pleased with them.
