Ordered a hat for fathers day. Once I added the hat and my delivery charge to the basket, I noticed they had added "Protect My Order" item without my permission to increase the total bill. Even when I removed the item and returned to my basket, the item kept reappearing. I couldn't figure out a work around and ended up just paying it (£1.09). It's only a small amount but it left a nasty taste in my mouth and feels like a sly move. I won't be making another purchase in the future.

Accepted my return due to size issues. So helpful with their customer service (Melissa and Hannah). Second order already gone in with them.

Melissa provided first class customer service. She has been very helpful with quick professional answers to my questions. By the way the products sold are excellent value and quality.

Ordered a Dubarry jacket at a cost of £385 including next day delivery. 3 working days later contacted the company by email to query when the item would be dispatched and that if they could not confirm to cancel. Emailed response was that my order had been cancelled and that my money would be refunded. 3 days later no refund received. Contacted the company again to query the delay and advised by email that the refund had been instructed and given a reference number to quote to my bank. A week later and still nothing in. Bank has no knowledge of the refund reference number quoted to me by the Company.

Had slight problem with an item purchased. Contacted customer service and they resolved the issue straight away. Excellent company to deal with.

You can tell the quality of a company by the quality of its customer service. In this instance it was first class thanks to Melissa, who dealt with a delayed order promptly and successfully. I can unreservedly recommend Hollands Country Clothing because the people there obviously care and that’s what it’s all about.

It is a long, long time since I had such a caring experience from a company. Customers matter to Hollands , and although my order was small the interest and care that they took with my order was outstanding, it restored my faith in humanity. product was good as well.

This is an excellent company to deal with, they have a good range of products and they are very quick to respond if you have any queries or problems. Recently I had a problem with a pair of Wellingtons. Hannah and Melissa quickly arranged a returns label at no cost to myself and by return of post sent me a replacement pair. What more could you ask for? It says a lot about a supplier by the way they resolve problems. I can't recommend this company enough and I will most certainly continue to use them.

Absolutely love the coat I ordered. It was a lighthouse coat, long. Great value for money and I was complimented on it so many times. It was warm and kept me dry from head to toe! However it became damaged (through no fault of Hollands Country Clothing, poor manufacturing issue) the company offered to replace it and I’m over the moon to have a replacement as I love the style. Great postage and customer service. I highly recommend this shop!

I ordered a jacket on 13th April, it arrived on 17th April (2 working days) with slight damage to the (removable) hood which clearly happened in transit, so not Holland's fault. Sent over photos. Was asked for more and duly sent those on 18th April. Got returns label on 22nd and the parcel was picked up 23rd. Replacement jacket has just been dispatched today (30th). I did ask if they could just send a replacement hood, but it seems that's not possible. Hannah B and Melissa did their best to be helpful so I appreciated that. I've taken a star off for it taking longer to get the replacement to me than it did the original item. Perhaps it was a stock issue, but regardless of that, so far I'm happy with the overall service and quality of the goods.

I placed an order and paid for a jacket almost one month ago, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. Despite eagerly waiting for the delivery for a month, I was informed today that the item I ordered is out of stock. This was incredibly disappointing, especially after patiently waiting for so long. It's frustrating to invest time and anticipation into a purchase only to be let down at the last minute. While I understand that inventory issues can arise, I expected better communication regarding the availability of the item. Overall, this experience has left me feeling disillusioned with Hollands Country Clothing reliability, customer service and I will not be buying there again.

Ordered a trilby hat on 21st March on line. At the time of writing, 28th March, have not received an acknowledgement, order number or estimated delivery, although money has been taken from my card. Called on multiple occasions on 27/28th March to speak to someone but line kept going to voicemail with an email address message. I see that Holland's Country Clothing are still advertising on line which gives me concerns over their business, customer service & integrity? Happy to be convinced otherwise, but seemingly unlikely? Grahame. Hartford. Northwich.

The Jack Pyke wellington boots I ordered from them arrived well packaged and in the time frame given . The boots although they were at the cheaper end of the range seem to be great quality and are probably the most comfortable I’ve had in my life and I was in agriculture for over 40 years.

I ordered a coat and 2 children's hats. I paid an extra £6.95 to receive these items quickly. After a couple of days they had not arrived. I contacted Hollands who said that there was a 5 - 10 day delay on these items. Then they also checked and informed me that the coat was out of stock. I had to chase them to receive this information, I feel that if the item was out of stock they should have informed me. They also added an amount £4.69 automatically to my order which I didn't notice until I had paid. Since the 2 hats turned up over 2 weeks after I ordered them we had already departed for the holiday that I needed them for. So now I have to return the items and incur a cost of £4 to do so. So I have been left with no items from Hollands but an additional cost of £6.95 for speedy delivery, £4.69 which was added to my order for some reason and £4 to return the items that did not arrive in time. I will not be purchasing from Hollands again and would advise anyone to check all the additional costs and delivery dates and if an item doesn't arrive on time chase the company because they will not let you know if the item is no longer in stock.

Honest review coming up... First great products. brilliant customer service and epic deals communicated over email and phone and was very simple. Why only 3: this is for the following reasons, shipping is grossly misadvised if you pay for what says is next-day delivery you won't get it the next day... if you read their dispatch time frames and delivery methods on the FAQ help website, you will find that next day is only after they have dispatched it which was 1-2 days for my product but can be upward of that dependent on the product, then next day delivery for them is 1-2 days so i paid £7.95 for a next day delivery that came 4 days later!!! PLEASE if the product is it is not going to come the next day DO NOT advertise it as that is misleading and wrong! Other than that I think they're good and if this was changed it would put my review to a 5. P.S. I need a refund as i got the product at the same time as standard delivery. MT

My husband bought me a Deerhunter coat and gloves for christmas . the second time I wore the Lady Mary Extreme Gloves they literally fell apart. Hollands are very difficult to contact, don't answer their phones, when they do respond eventually to email Melissa said oh there's a problem with the phone , lots of photos required which was OK, but gloves clearly faulty! so she asked did I want replacement or refund. Given the poor quality I asked for refund. and returned the completely faulty goods, they only refunded part of the cost of the gloves and none of the shipping. Dreadful company to deal with
