If I could rate 0 I would. Homebox was charging me for utility x 2 the original amount. I I recently moved into a new apartment and was made to pay charges for what I hadn’t used, I don’t know if I was made to pay for the excesses of previous tenant. I had to call individual utility companies to get an estimate of what I was actually using and realised they were charging me double or even triple. I cancelled my account with them. Complete rip off
Everything was done on the phone call, from setting up my account to explaining thoroughly everything to me. All my questions and concerns were answered immediately. Special thanks to Nauriane who was with me on the call, she did a brilliant job!

Firstly, I agreed on terms and the kind of service convenient for me over the phone. Then, I was sent a link and filling the form I completed it in a few steps. Very straightforward.
AVOID THEM. They called and misrepresented themselves as a current provider and used the confusion to try and sign me up. I ended up with a direct debit set up before I realized. They use the distraction of dealing with my actual providers who I am actually switching with to make their scam to sign you up to inflated prices for services I ALREADY HAVE. Also seems complicated to cancel and not sure what regulator to complain to.
Got charged for energy and gas when I moved in to a new apartment and I thought they had switched services after deduction was made from my account but my light went off and then realized I was on prepaid meter with previous occupant service provider, all the while what I was using was what was left on the meter by the previous occupant, billing better or home box made a deduction whiles they ain’t providing the service I sign up for. I called them and they said they will refund me my electricity money, just imagine, why take money for electricity knowing you can’t provide that because it’s on prepaid. And when I said I want to cancel they said I have to pay £132 pounds o cancel. It got me pissed I swear. It’s actually a scam company
Excellent service and quick setup. Andres is a knowledgeable and professional executive who helped me through the entire homebox process in a matter of minutes. Would definitely recommend.
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They will waste your time, switch you over to a more expensive energy provider, and be slow to respond. This is not a one off issue, for the last year I have received terrible slow responses and have been forced to chase them up and to no prevail. I would not recommend. They do not take anything seriously. Do not trust the 5 star reviews. When on-boarding they ask you to give them a 5 star review.
So far the setting up part has been extremely easy and I like the experience.
We used "Homebox" for a year, but we knew them as "Billing Better" - We were charged a £42.50 Service charge, on the promise they will organise our bills and services for us and charge what is required, for a smooth billing process ... Suddenly, the company changes name, and starts chasing us down for £4k in extra charges almost a year later ... They do not respond to our attempts at contact, instead start threatening legal and debt collection action, with extra late fees, claiming we are still signed up to thier services and have overdue payments ... This company is clearly a scam or fraud, and should not be trusted.
Chloe went through each step and repeated information if a hadn't heard everything. Answered my questions satisfactorily. Hope the rest of the process goes ok.

No choice of internet provider
Still waiting for return of payments taken by Homebox for WiFi they then told us they could not provide. We have had to separately arrange and pay for a different internet provider … and still original payments for non existent service not returned to us by Homebox. tells us they cannot return our money (now 6 weeks after taking it) … because it has not been returned to their account ?!? Is this a pyramid scheme that should be reported?

Matt was really informative, answered all the questions I had about payments and getting energy and Internet sorted. He followed up, and helped set up my direct debit quickly.
