Horrendous company, avoid like the plague. They cancelled all my utilities, I didn't even have an account with them!! Caused untold problems. I sued them in small claims for damages of thousands and won! I strongly advise others to do the same even if your claim is small, add on more in damages and let them fight it in court. Edit in answer to Homebox: But you refused to offer me any compensation that's a big mistake. Also you've done this to others and there's some horrendous reviews out there. Learn from your errors, improve and do better or get reviews like this. I'm experienced at litigation most are not, you FAFO this time....

This is a follow in to my last post11/2/25...I did get an initial reply saying they would contact me which they did they asked for a copy of the account I don't have which i supplied I have not recieved any feedback despite sending 3 emails asking for an update...very disappointed with the customer support

Absolute nonsense. AVOID. This company is a complete and utter mess. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews on any relevant review site, these are undoubtedly fake/bots. There is a plethora of things wrong with Homebox and its operations. So to summarise I have noted a few items to help future potential customers avoid this like the plague. To begin with, their 'customer service', while this appears to be something useful and easy. They can't actually help you on the chat. Instead refer you to another team who will then email you (or not). If they do email, it will arrive fairly promptly. However, you will then never receive a response to this. While you would think paying your energy bills is the central most simple task, Homebox somehow even manage to pay these late. Resulting in late payment notices from the suppliers. It is pretty hilarious that each month we pay Homebox and the only bill that they can actually settle in a timely manner is paying themselves a service fee. Transparency is another key point. It's something that they claim they provide to all customers. Again, another joke, considering they don't actually provide any bills for you to see what you are actually paying to the energy or wifi companies. I guess I will round it out with 'cancellation fees'. The classic example of a terrible company are their attempts to prevent you leaving with outrageous cancellation fees. These cancellation fees are 100% arbitrary and are not in line with what would be considered "reasonable" under the Consumers Act 2015. Thus, likely not enforceable anyway. To conclude, don't fall for this rubbish. They don't save you any time or hassle, only create additional stress. It is just as fast, if not faster, to take control of all your own bills. What I can tell you for sure, you'll get a cheaper WiFi package and cheaper energy doing it yourself. Save your pennies and spend that service fee doing something nice for yourself (or if you're a glutton for punishment, spend £30 a month on Homebox service charges)

I have been trying to obtain my invoices from Homebox since December, covering the past year and three months. As the company responsible for managing my utility bills, you are expected to provide these upon request. However, the only response I received was to my last review here, where they ignored my request and told me it takes 4-6 weeks to provide an invoice for my last month. To clarify, I am not requesting my final bill, I am asking for all my invoices from the past year and three months. It is 2025, not 1980; providing an invoice should not take a company 4-6 weeks. I would appreciate a more professional and trustworthy response.

11.2. update: now the payments are on the way to the suppliers... so I updated my stars from 1-3 for the high speed and nice call from Sophia... pls never again... Took my money on the 3.1.25 (direct debit). didn't book it correctly, explained me on the phone they have no money from my side (a really not nice person on the phone). I had to send them all my bank statements... unbelievable... now they found the money... nice... but they didn't pay suppliers yet. absolute not ok...

This company is a scam and should be avoided at all costs. Homebox provides nil value for money. They will misleadingly sign you onto a 12-month contract without clear or advance warning using deceitful marketing tactics, then charge you cancellation fees if you elect to break early. It takes minimum 48 hours to receive a response to any kind of query. Communication is regularly cluttered, repetitive and disorganised. The complaints resolution team appears to have no intention of resolving service issues, preferring instead to use their concealed terms of service as justification for why no responsibility or action is required on their behalf. Homebox ignores new bills to the point of service providers sending debt collectors’ notices. Do not waste your time or money.

Feb 18,2025My experience so far is great. The staff (Matthew) who spoke with me explained everything I needed to know about the service. He was also patient with me, making sure i understood how it works, from selling the product to setting up direct debit. He's good at what he does.
