Apr 23,2025We went back to Kaye and her family after several years because they are so great… Couldn’t go back to them earlier, because they are quite in demand! Juri and Layla we’re clearly treated like royalty there and we’re very happy when they first arrived… They remembered the garden and I had a sense that they would be well looked after and definitely very safe and in loving hands.

Apr 20,2025We recently left our dog Nala with Sylvie and Mike for a week, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in safe, loving hands. Sylvie and Mike treated Nala like one of their own — giving her plenty of walks, cuddles, playtime, and attention. They kept us updated throughout the week with photos and little stories, which made us feel totally at ease while we were away. When we came to pick her up, Nala was happy, healthy, and completely relaxed — a true sign that she’d been well looked after. It’s obvious Sylvie and Mike genuinely love dogs, and it shows in the way they care for them. We can’t recommend them enough and would absolutely trust them with Nala again in the future. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of her!

Apr 20,2025Home from Home made leaving our dog a little easier as it was very clear that she would be well looked after. Janice took care of Luna for 2 weeks and we could not have been happier. Luna was so happy and very well cared for, and we received regular updates about her welfare throughout our holiday which was very reassuring. We would love for Janice to take care of Luna going forward to future holidays so fingers crossed she can!

She followed our routines with Dougie and sent regular updates about him, reassuring us of his wellbeing. It was obvious he was being well looked after and loved during his stay. She even gave him a bath the day we returned which was wonderful for us! A very positive and happy stay. Thank you Christine! I have no hesitation about recommending Christine as a lovely dog sitter. It truly was home from home.

Apr 19,2025Home from Home found us new carers at very short notice. Michelle and Neil were superb. So caring and lovely. Our older dog had become quite unwell and we were worried about leaving him, but Michelle reassured us that they would take care of him so we could go. They sent us daily updates and when Monty deteriorated Michelle let us know straight away so we came home early and our son fetched him early. Would highly recommend Home from Home as the carers are so trustworthy

She was enthusiastic about her experience with Tyson and is keen to have him again. We were able to have relaxing holiday knowing Tyson was being well cared for.

Apr 13,2025DO NOT RECOMMEND this dog boarding service: As long-time clients of Home from Home Dog Boarding Service for over 10 years, we have generally been satisfied with the carers they have organized for our beloved dog. However, recent events have left us deeply disappointed and upset with the company's lack of compassion and understanding. Ahead of our summer holiday, we booked their services well in advance, just a week ago. Tragically, due to her age, our dog collapsed and passed away yesterday. When we contacted the agency to inform them of the situation, we were told that their policy only allows for a 50% refund (£200), and they would keep the rest. This policy feels incredibly harsh, especially considering the booking was made more than three months in advance and only a week ago. We had hoped that the agency would show more empathy and offer a full refund given the circumstances. Instead, their rigid policy disregards the relationship we have built over the years and the fact that we are grieving for our beloved pet. While we understand the need to retain a small amount for administrative purposes, the agency only made one call to arrange the booking, making their decision to keep half of the deposit seem unreasonable. This experience has been extremely unpleasant, and we would not recommend Home from Home Dog Boarding Service to anyone. We suggest looking for a more local service or another company with a more flexible policy and a genuine passion for the care of your pets. Additionally, their prices are quite high, and they did not offer any flexibility in our case despite the tragic circumstances. We are genuinely upset by this situation, as we did not cancel without reason—our dog passed away. We urge others to avoid using this service.

The family Arthur went to were fantastic and we were so grateful for them taking such good care of him!

Apr 12,2025Aitch and Natalie were amazing in stepping in so quickly with our dogs. They kept us extremely well informed during our holiday with lots of lovely doggie pics to show us how happy and relaxed our dogs were in their company. When we returned, our dogs were so chilled and had obviously had the best time ever. We can’t thank Aitch and Natalie enough for providing our dogs with such a lovely time and we would give them our highest recommendations.
