Messages & photos through the week were a bonus. I do feel the deposit to the company is expensive but the amount paid to the carer is fair.

Nov 22,2023In July this year we lost our 13 year Border Collie which left us very sad including our younger BC Billy. Poppet had been Billy’s best friend for almost 9 years and while grieving for her he started suffering with separation anxiety. We started some desensitising training with him at the same time as having to try and find a solution of who or where we could board him. I had tried a home boarding company some years ago, but didn’t find them suitable specifically because you couldn’t meet your carers. So coming across Home from Home Boarding was perfect. We met Denise & Nigel and went into great detail about Billy and his current issues. They took everything on board and were very understanding about the issues he has, so initially Billy had a trial two nights. I was nervous leaving him because he had become particularly attached to me but having been experienced dog owners before Denise & Nigel let him be himself and took the time to help him settle and it proved a positive experience all round. We’ve just come back from a long awaited holiday where Billy had been staying with Denise & Nigel for 12 days. Although we hadn’t quite completed the sep anxiety training, they made sure that Billy was never alone, which is a commitment we are very grateful for. They have a great area for walks and a lovely large garden. Nothing is too much trouble and what I love the most is that they love Billy as much as Billy loves them.

Nov 21,2023We left our dog Raph with an excellent dog boarder who ticked all the right boxes. I could not have asked for a better service. I cannot award 5 stars as there was an initial hiccup with the company which was stressful but they did resolve the problem even though I felt I did have to push for an apology. I would use this company again .
