We were asked lots of questions about Rusty so that he could be given a suitable carer and we were so pleased that he was paired with a lovely couple who lived locally. Rusty seemed very comfortable with them on out first visit which made us feel better about leaving him. We were sent photos and videos every day - we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home! We’d be very happy to leave Rusty again with the couple and know that he’d be safe and happy.

Aug 29,2023I needed to find a home for my poodle for three weeks during the summer. I wanted a home without other pets with a secure space outside and no more than a one hour drive from my home. Home from Home asked me a lot of questions about my dog and were very straightforward in all their dealings which made it a very easy process. The gentleman who looked after my dog was wonderful and Home from Home responded quickly to any concerns I had.

Aug 29,2023Winnie was looked after very well as always. She did suffer an upset stomach whilst we were on holiday but Lyn was very reassuring, kept a close eye on her and even took her to the vet to get her checked out. Couldn't ask for a better carer, thank you so much

Aug 26,2023The concept is really good. Only dog with the host at their home. My dog was really happy with the host (Ian), who was amazing. Duke being a "working" dog, always happy to be out and about. That's exactly what he appears to have got from Ian. I was kept informed periodically with pictures, etc., which kept me at ease and we were able to have a blissful holiday. Ian took care of Duke very well and when we went to pick him up. Duke wanted Ian to join us as well as left :-) I would recommend Home from Home to anyone.

Aug 21,2023Efficient service from agency, offered a few choices for our single dog within a house with no other dogs. Our choice with the suggestions made turned out perfectly they were kind and interested in homing our dog for a week seemed sensible and knowledgeable. We met initially and were immediately filled with confidence and had no concerns in booking them. Having just returned our decision was justified our dog was safe had enjoyed his stay and the couple reported his week’s activities and food choices. We are delighted with this company and their links to reliable dog boarders.

I can honestly say I wouldn’t use any one else for our lovely Poppy she always comes back so happy and content and like she has had the best time and on this occasion that was no exception. I honestly wouldn’t use anyone else and cannot recommend Jan enough.

Aug 15,2023Fantastic service from start to finish. They found us a few local dog sitters who all sounded like they would be a good match. We were then able to meet in person as well, which was very helpful. The couple that we met and who looked after our dog could not have been nicer. Our dog was injured prior to our holiday and because of that had to follow strict guidance from the vet, which they followed meticulously. They even sent us videos so that we could keep up with his recovery. I've already recommended this company to my friends! Thank you!!

Upon completing Sulley's profile, we were contacted by HfHDB to discuss a potential carer in the area. The service felt very friendly and personal, and we were given the opportunity to discuss how everything worked, or say if we weren't happy with the suggested carer after we met. Overall, we felt it was a great and very professional service, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Aug 13,2023What we loved most was not just the ease of booking and the speed of finding a boarder for our dogs, it was the personal care taken by the booking company to place us with someone who'd be best suited to our needs. We were asked lots of different questions that really helped to complete a picture of our two elderly dachshunds. We felt listened to, understood and valued as customers and pet owners. We were given a chance to meet and 'review' our boarders and bring the dogs along too before settling on a final decision. Given the detailed first interview we found them to be absolutely perfect for us and our boys - kind, helpful and thoughtful. We had lots of updates while we were away and they went above and beyond to make sure our very nervous, picky eaters were fed, walked, cuddled and comforted while we were away.
