Jan 14,2023Home from Home we have used them several times before. They go the extra mile to find the right family for your dogs, also which is local to you. We have just come back from our holiday we were away for over two weeks Amanda our dog carer updated me with pictures of my dogs having loads of fun. It is such a worry when you leave them but home from home always come up trumps. Great customer service and very understanding. Thank you so much Belinda Taylor

Jan 12,2023Our two year old Cockerpoo was cared for by Sue over New Year week. He’s an extremely affectionate but also still has some lively puppy traits. Sue looked after him with kindness and care and sent little updates on him. When we collected him he was super chilled out and clearly quite contented. Thank you Sue and Home from Home.

Jan 12,2023My Shih Tzu has had 2 sitters from HfH and both have been great experiences. I was feeling a bit anxious leaving Coco behind for 2 whole weeks this Christmas but Kerry was excellent. She sent me updates, videos and pictures every everyday .I could see the love, cuddles and pampering she and her daughter were giving Coco. It helped me be at ease and I could fully enjoy my holiday knowing he was in good hands. I would definitely recommend HfH.

The booking was straightforward, and after the initial meeting, I knew Olive would be given lots of love and attention. I was sent photos and updates on how she was getting on, and when I picked her up, she appeared happy and fully brushed!

Jan 06,2023The lady that took of our girly over Christmas was amazing. I had regular updates from her and Trinity was very happy there. It literally was home from home for Trinity. Nothing was an issue, including the fact my dog is on a raw diet. The carer took it all on board and treated Trinity like her own whilst she had her. I’d definitely be using the same carer again in the near future.

Dec 30,2022Hazel took excellent care of my dog whilst I was away for Christmas. Video clips from Hazel showed him enjoying his walks and when I collected him, he'd clearly been very well looked after and was very relaxed and happy in her company. A real relief for me. My 2nd time using this service and again very satisfied with care of my dog and the whole set up. Truly lovely carers who love dogs and understand them.

I only wish that we had been given a choice of two potential host families, although I appreciate that as we went away just before Christmas it was perhaps not possible. All in all I would recommend Home from Home dog boarding.

Dec 12,2022First home visit was an amazing couple whom looked after my dogs amazingly well. The second visit the person's house was absolutely not safe for my dogs to be in, seriously cluttered, smelt of smoke, cold and the dog carer did not interact with the dogs at all. So that was a hard no, then the third couple was also amazing. Lovely property, just unreal, fussed over the dogs and kept me updated the whole time I was away with photos. So overall really good but shocking second visit.

Dec 08,2022I had booked my Maltese dog with Diana from 23rd November to December 1st . On 28th November I received a message from her saying that he jumped off a sofa & hurt his leg . She took him to our vet ,she told me that he gave an injection for pain & inflammation. Also that an X-ray booking was made for next day which she said was upto us whether to do it then or later . I told her that if he was better next day I would take him for X-ray after I reached .All updates from her after that were suggesting that he was improving. When I collected him on 1st December he was hopping on 3 legs . We took him to the Vet on 2nd December morning & he said Snowy was still holding his leg up as much as on the First day . They did X-rays after General anaesthesia . The X-rays showed fragmented bone . He said it was a serious injury . I reported this to Martin , but all he said was he will put this down against my booking . He also said that he didn’t believe the carer was negligent. Snowy’s reports were send to a specialist orthopedic surgeon who said to wait for 4 weeks to see if he gets better . The only other option is surgery to put pins & plates . It is heartbreaking for me to see my pet hopping around on 3 legs . I told Martin about this & also inquired about their insurance , after which he send me an email asking me to communicate only by email & saying that what happened to Snowy was an UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT. Neither Diana the carer nor anyone from Home to Home has called up or messaged to check on how Snowy is doing . We have incurred Vet bills of more than 700 pounds. I don’t want anyone to go through this experience after paying for one on one care for your precious pet .

Dec 07,2022Highly highly recommend! Our little dog Dylan stayed with Jan in Chelmsford and I cannot recommend enough. He absolutely loved his stay! Dylan is a little nervous and he could not have been happier staying with Jan and her husband. He didn’t want to leave! We have another stay booked for our wedding next year and I already know he is going to have the best few days! Thank you to Jan and Home from Home, will definitely be spreading the word!
