Sep 27,2022I gave 4 rather than 5 stars because there was an administrative error leading to a little confusion when I came to drop Bibi off. I'm sure this is a really rare occurrence and has never happened to me before. Thankfully this didn't impact on Bibi's stay during which I felt she was looked after with the usual care and attention.

Alison, who looked after our dog Freya was all we could possibly have asked for and muchmore besides. Her care and attention was genuinely outstanding. We also loved the updates she sent along the way. Honestly, I can't really imagine how Freya could have been looked after better, or given more love. Thank you. We will be back!

The peace of mind that we get from leaving our dog with the Home from Home carers is worth the extra cost over kennels, as we know someone is dedicating special time and attention to our dog on a one-on-one basis. Special thanks to Philip, Lorraine and Venetia who have all been brilliant.

Sep 06,2022The booking process through HfH was really easy and my mind was put at rest very quickly when I had a phone call to confirm my requirements and given options of possible carers. Theresa and Roy are such a lovely couple and Max had a great time staying with them while we were on holiday. Theresa sent me Max holiday updates and photos so we could see what he’d been up to, and I can honestly say I felt really confident that he was happy staying with them. Would highly recommend.

Sep 06,2022John and Mary were so kind to look after our greyhound Mac for a couple of weeks this August and he was made to feel truly at home. Nothing felt like too much bother (including a few early starts and Mac taking up a lot of room on their sofa, it sounds like!) and they demonstrated that they cared greatly for Mac's wellbeing during what was the hottest summer on record! I returned to a contented, well-loved dog who's needs and quirky habits had been considered, who was treated with respect and kindness and had a safe environment to spend time in. I wouldn't hesitate in boarding Mac with these two patient, sensible and generous people in the future, and I know Mac would love to see them again. Thanks so much for the peace of mind, and for showing Mac such a good time! A huge thank you also goes to the people in the office at Home from Home who, despite a couple of tricky situations and an unexpected time constraint, presented several good options of boarders when our original bookings became problematic. They took into account Mac's temperament and made it work so that he was with the same boarder for two week-long stays, reducing the anxiety felt by Mac, for which I'm grateful. HfH is worth every penny for the peace of mind, and I hope to use them again in the future.

Sep 05,2022This was the first time I have used this service and have been very impressed. After registering, they called the next working day to clarify details of the dog and dates for booking. No wait time on the time I contacted them. We received details of the person who would be looking after our dog and went to meet them prior to going away to confirm we were happy and they were happy to take our dog for the week. Whilst away we received updates and photos on how our dog was doing from the carer. On collecting our dog, she was relaxed and settled and had obviously been taken good care of whilst we were away. We will be using Home from Home dog boarding in future.

Sep 05,2022Overall a good experience. We were not happy with the first dog sitter we were put in touch with and the agency found us another, Debbie. Debbie and her family were wonderful and looked after our boy brilliantly. We were very happy with the care he got and will be using again

Sep 29,2022We have used Home From Home on many occasions but this is the first time that our 2 dogs were looked after by Rob and we were more than happy with the care and attention that he gave to them. We know that our 2 can be a bit of a handful, but Rob appeared to take this all in his stride and his calm and relaxed approach made it very easy for us to feel comfortable in leaving the dogs with him for 2 weeks. Thank you Rob!
