I cannot understand when you order something that is in stock that it can take so long to fulfil and send out the order. I placed an order 10 days ago and have still heard nothing. I shan’t be shopping here again....
I ordered a nummah two months ago and still haven't received it. Avoid at all costs.
Ordered boots on 8th dec, received them 12th dec! Great value and well packaged - even included a small gift. Email was answered promptly so will use again.
Bought an online gift voucher for a birthday present, when I phoned to find out where it is, they told me they have to be created by someone in I.T it could take days depending when someone is in to do it. Shocking customer service, shocking manners on the phone and quite frankly i’m surprised this business is still operating.
My favourite place weather online or in store to shop , helpful staff, I changed my mind on a Christmas present and they were only to happy to change the colour and size , quick delivery and helpful service . 5 years of shopping with them and still more than happy with the service , love the click and collect options . Advent offers are going to bankrupt me
I ordered a « small » order of nearly 200€ on the 12th of November. No updates or any communication so after emailing, online chat (which is now not available) several phone calls I received awful customer service especially from Judy customer service manager. When I questioned her on my order and simply said it was unacceptable not to have had any updates etc she put the phone down on me. I later received an email canceling my order even though when asked on the phone I had refused to cancel because having already waited 3 weeks I wanted my order! Terrible, rude, unprofessional company , I will never deal with them again. Also any complaints or remarks are deleted from Facebook, be aware !!!!
Placed an order 3 weeks ago with hopevalley. Received no information of the order - still have not received it. Emailed them 5 times with no response AVOID AT ALL COST
Terrible company. Ordered over 3 weeks ago. They took my money £190 on the day I ordered. No delivery, no explanation.... nothing. Have emailed several times. No operatives available to talk any time. Used to be excellent......now Awful. DO NOT ORDER FROM HOPE VALLEY SADDLERY. YOU WILL NOT GET GOODS OR YOUR MONEY BACK UPDATE. Finally got my goods 4 weeks after ordering, but no communication, to say the goods were on the way. Still no reply to emails
Great website which offers good deals on well known brands. Had a slight delay with order but even then it was very quick and I received it within a week of ordering (in the middle of the second lockdown!). Staff is lovely and sorted out an issue with the order straight away over messenger - very easy to get in contact with.
This company is terrible at keeping their website upto date with stock. Placed an order on the 15th November, advised delivery 2-5 business days (paid £5 for delivery which I feel is steep on a £140 order). Chased end of the week as not had a dispatch email, to be told that they actually mean they don't have to dispatch the items until day 5 (weekday) which was a Monday. Then get an email advising one of my items is out of stock.... so why did they not send the other items? Also offered a replacement item which is not on the website, no photo etc. Will not order online from them again! Rubbish customer service.
Purchased brushing boots, overreach boots and horse treats on 31 October. Now 21 November still not received anything. Spoken to them 3 times and chatted on the internet 2 times. Final call I was told that the boots I had ordered were out of stock. Asked for my money back and cancelled order. They never contacted me once and only apology was on the last call. Frankly terrible terrible service and I will NEVER use them again. Money now tied up until refund returned and needed overreach boots fairly urgently.
Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Ordered on 5 November. Chased last week very rude Customer Service person said there was a delay. Chased on Monday and was told someone would come back to me. Chased again today as no one came back to me and was told one item was out of stock. Changed size of second item and have been told it will be 3 to 5 days before it is despatched. Watch this space. Very disappointing service. Still waiting but today the website says order complete. It’s only been 21 days will be interesting to see how long it now takes to arrive.

If I could give a big fat zero I would have. 10 days after ordering I still haven't received my stuff. now onto the 'live chat' who have said the order is processing OMG I can find that out myself. I am sick and tired of companies taking our money. Covid and all that - surely you would be lapping up business. their customer serice if possibly one of the worse I have ever dealt with x NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY
Items out of stock but they don’t tell you unless you chase them up. Made an order, took payment- nothing showed as out of stock, heard nothing for over 10 days. Sent three emails and tried the live chat, finally got a response to say they were ‘waiting for some items’. No communication unless really pressed, no customer service. All this for 4.99 delivery! It’s a hard enough time for people right now without having to deal with fraudulent companies. AVOID
Am shocked to read some of the reviews as I’ve always found the service excellent. Same for delivery. I especially like their choice of Horseware products and their sales are great too.
Horrible service. After 2 months waiting for my purchase i contacted them for 3 times and they always told me i had to keep on waiting. I was fed up and requested a refund. They rejected. Not reliable business. I do not recommend anybody to buy any product from them
Took a week to dispatch order, same item ordered from Houghtons in a different size, received 2 days after ordering, there are better companies to spend your money with.
Always buy all my equestrian items from hopevalley, have a huge product range, always lots of great deals! Staff are really helpful and friendly. They didn’t have the bridle I wanted in the size I wanted so called them up and they ordered it in for me and I had it within the week!

Dec 15,2020Purchased and item for a christmas gift to be emailed days later to say the item was out of stock, I have asked for a refund (£100 of my money they have taken) and now they are ignoring any messages or contact from me. Now do not have the funds to purchase the items elsewhere and it is too late before Christmas now!
