Feb 18,2025When i looked at the car the audio system was,nt working... It was aggreed that it would be working when i came to collect the car... I worked many years ago in the motor trade and know from experience that not all promisses are kept by all traders... However Horsepower were true to their word and ended up replacing the system with a new one... I travelled from Bedfordshire to Kent to look at and purchase this car..As a testament of the service i recieved i would do this again if buying from Horsepower...

Feb 04,2025Excellent selection of cars and friendly, knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. Car came fully serviced, mot'd, checked, clean and the few minor issues from test drive all resolved. Would happily buy from them again. Also used the service and bodywork teams for some issues on my previous car. All work was carried out quickly, to a high standard and great value. Again, will happily use them again.

Feb 04,2025Buying a used car is often a minefield. I'm not a mechanic by any stretch. I just knew what I wanted and honesty. Jason listened to us and made sure all of our questions were answered. No blagging, no "car salesman tactics" just a genuine guy that was happy to help. We found our S-Max online, made an appointment to view and drive it. He made sure the car was serviced and had a new MOT ready for the next Saturday when we collected it. I can honestly say dealing with him was as I'd hoped. Straight forward and simple. Marvellous. Looking forward to many Happy and trouble free years with our car. Thank you Jason, you made a real difference to the whole process and made us feel valued. Matthew

Jan 23,2025Simple process. Jason, the salesman, was helpful. Appointment, took the car for a test drive, collected a few days later - locking mechanism fixed, fresh MOT and service. Happy with the car. Always a risk that a 13yr car that's covered 140k may go wrong, seems like a good one. Thank you.

Jan 18,2025I started out very well with horsepower having a good experience with a friendly salesman having part exed my car… Because of this I went on to buy a second car from them as I thought them to be a good company that cared about there customers however my experience this time was not good at all… they refused to fix my car while under warranty and to add insult to this when I complained to the owners by email ( twice) they didn’t even bother to respond … 19/01/25 To respond to horsepowers comments .. I asked Danny to have the CD player looked at when I viewed the car and expressed the importance of this working he said ( when I collected the car that it did) but on trying it later that day when I had a CD it did not… I called the next day and said when could I book it in for that and the following minor issues…. Interior light not working when you open the door rt speaker not working properly light on dash for fuel gauge not working and light on drivers heated seat display permanently on…. To me it seemed that with all these relatively minor issues not working that the garage had not despite telling me to otherwise done basic checks you would expect when selling the car. When I bought this to Danny’s attention again post Christmas he just told me flat that horsepower would not address these issues either under the three months warranty or in fact at all. I do not enjoy giving negative feedback back but if you fail to look after customers then this is the result. 20/01/25 Your last response although true in part given age of car and my understanding of the purchase I made… That being said I would now strongly advise anyone who reads this review to be very wary of this company as the salesman who sold me the car lied about the car having been checked over before it was released to me… I was advised that it would be before I collected it… Also be wary of warranty as it would seem that it covers nothing in the case of the Lexus I purchased.

Feb 22,2025Danny gave a great honest service. I’ve only had the car a little over the week, and so far, I love it! It wasn’t a pressured sell, as the car sold itself. There was a great selection of cars and all reasonably priced. Cheers Danny
