I bought a Lander Desk and Monitor Arm back in 2018 or so. I love the desk and the arm was decent but not sure I would buy that again. Just this past month I had an issue with the Arm and also the controller on my desk. The response time was very quick and they sent me new parts pretty quickly. It appears they are under new management and turning the customer service around based on some of the other reviews I was reading. Glad I didn't have this issue before, but my experience in July 2023 was very good.

Avoid. Product is OK, but their customer service has vanished. I’ve got an error code indicating a shorted cable. They do not answer the phone or return messages or respond to emails, so what should be a simple replacement is now a stuck desk. **UPDATE 7/7/23** Shortly after writing this review, I was contacted directly by the new management at iMovr (Trustpilot does not allow links in reviews, but there is a press release about new management on the iMovr site). Based on the error code, they quickly sent a replacement cable. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem. After a couple rounds of troubleshooting, they sent a whole new set of lower legs. It took a bit of disassembly and reassembly, and it's once again working perfectly. Bottom line: The customer service appears to be getting turned back around.

I can't recommend this company as an option for anything they sell. Their customer service is nearly non-existent, and is fully needed in a world where we have become dependent with on-line purchases. I sent an email to check on the status of a purchase, and was told to wait 4 business days for shipping. After waiting 5 business days I sent an email (the only form of communication they accept), sent an email to cancel the order, and requested a full refund. We shall see if I get that refund, it was a pretty expensive purchase.

There is so much wrong with this business that I have no idea where to start. Thermogenesis Group is the parent company of both iMovR and Workwhilewalking yet, there's no clear upfront disclosure about this relationship. It's very easy to think that Workwhilewalking is an independent review website when, in fact, it is not. Workwhilewalking is a large advertising front for iMovR while pretending not to be. It's misleading at best and outright false at worst. On the other hand, iMovR claims to be Pro-American with their made in "USA" products but clearly it's just as misleading and false as Workwhilewalking. They merely slapped an American tabletop on a foreign-made base and all of a sudden, it's "Made in the USA". And this somehow justified the ridiculous price tag they put on their products. Clearly, someone's getting screwed. And it's iMovR doing the screwing. Unfortunately, I didn't know any of this before I purchased from iMovR. I had issues with my products and CS never responded in a timely manner. It took them over a month to respond. Worst, they had no solution for the defective products I purchased. Instead, they had the gall to suggest I should pay "return shipping" for their defects. Sadly, I did just that and they never even refunded me my money. I lost many hundreds of dollars from them. From the moment I interacted with them, I believed all their marketing fluff and genuinely thought this will be a company worth doing business with. It turns out, they are just another "laptop" brand that never touches their products and are only interested in marketing and sales. The proof is in the pudding.

This company has a major capacity issue. I ordered a monitor arm and anticipated it would ship in the normal amount of time, maybe a few days. They don't have to build anything, they just have to get the box and hand it to the shipper, but it has been a week now and no shipping notice. The phone customer support line claims to be open at this hour, but after a few minutes of holding shifts you to a voicemail in which they claim to be not responding to voicemail due to staffing issues. They advise you to email one department and cc another, and they then claim that any ticket could take up to ten days to resolve. This is simply not how customer service works in this day and age, and I strongly recommend that you order what you're looking for from elsewhere.

The desk looks great, functions as intended, but customer service is abhorrent and I have never been able to recommend this brand to friends or colleagues. Back on the original delivery date I was called and asked to confirm I'd be home for the 5 hour window that delivery was planned for, I confirmed, but the desk was not delivered for another week and items from it were missing. Customer support team blamed Covid and said "these things happen." Fast forward 2 years later, I've now been in correspondence with their customer support team (mostly by messaging their sales staff over and over) about ordering a replacement power box for the desk so I can actually use it as intended (power box detached and lost in a move). After more than a month I finally got a response from the customer support team, but when I pinged them back they didn't respond. A week later I've sent them another message but I do not expect to hear back. iMovr, I know you read these reviews. If you need someone to restructure and retrain your customer support team I know a guy who can do that for you. Seriously. The system you have now is holding your entire business back and is so easy to fix. Help me help you, iMovr.

The product is beautiful and well made. I purchased a Lander desk that shipped in 3 parts over a number of weeks. I did not mind the delay or fragmented shipping. What I had not realised was that this had implications. Be aware that iMovR expects you to report any damage to a desk within 24 hours of delivery. It is in the fine print. The 100 day satisfaction guarantee and lifetime warranty are nonsense. In my situation, I had very slight damage to one edge of the desk surface. I only realised this chipping after I had assembled the desk, which took me a week to get to. I then attempted to call IMOVR multiple times, to no avail. They do not pick up their telephones, ever. After multiple attempts at contact, I took the time to compose an email, send photos, and relevant details. iMOVR took a week to respond. I was expecting a quick resolution, given that all I have to complain about is some minor chipping. I do not even want to return the item, but I think given how expensive this purchase is for most people, one would expect a minor concession for an imperfect product. Instead, iMOVR chose to dig in their heels, and refused any concession above $100 citing their fine print. The message I heard was "your fault, tough luck". Something about iMOVR's response irritates me greatly. I had a similar problem years ago, but the company I purchased from was so gracious, and sent me a touch up kit, and a small rebate. It was tiny, maybe comparable to that $100 IMOVR offered but the customer service was stellar. However, with IMOVR there was so much emphasis on placing blame squarely on the customer's shoulders. The way they treat their customers is so adversarial. I might be less annoyed if this item was inexpensive. It took me ages to save enough to purchase this item. I find myself more annoyed with the customer service "gotcha attitude" than the damage itself.

Table parts arrived broken 2x in a row. Nobody at Imovr answers the phone, neither the customer service line nor sales. I still cannot assemble table because I don’t have good functioning table parts. This is a nightmare

You do realize that iMovR website incorrectly states the Jaxson is Made in USA when in fact it is NOT. Check out the specs. Unfortunately, I bought one of these Jaxson thinking it was Made in the USA, paid a premium for that being the case, when in fact it is a not any better than any of the other China/Eastern Europe junk bases being imported into our country. Yes, check it out, I am speaking truth.

Imagine for a moment a company that provides customer service in the most basic form. THIS IS NOT IT. Some notes after spending a small fortune on a desk treadmill. 1. One would think they would install it and make sure it worked. SURE DIDNT. "Installation is currently unavailable" 2. One would think the product would work. SURE DIDN'T. Repeated error messages after just a few minutes of use. 3. One would think they have customer service. SURE DON'T. They outsource their service department. I didn't even know that was an option. 4. One would think their outsourced service department would be helpful. SURE WASN'T. They said they would have someone come out and fix it ASAP. Then we heard nothing. Called back and they said they would just send us a replacement part. That sounded great until I asked how long it would take. "I have no way of knowing. I put the request in." 5. The service department had the audacity to say that they could and would provide contact information that I could contact and PAY to get the control console looked at despite it still very much being under warranty. TLDR Product doesn't work. They refuse to try to fix it. They will provide a replacement part but it could take up to several years to get the part.

I recently purchased a Jaxson Standing Desk Base after doing a lot of research. I really liked the idea that these folks were US based and at least from other folks who had one of these desks for a while, they suggested they were good quality. The website suggests that the total process from processing time to shipment should take 14 business days maximum (1-7 business days processing + 1-7 shipping). After not receiving any information after the 8th business day I reached out to support. Nothing. I then contacted sales, and received a generic copy/paste from their VP of Sales who said that the desks started shipping last week and I should get an email soon. 16th business day, I reply to the VP's email because no tracking info whatsoever. No response. Next business day I contact sales again and miraculously customer support responds to my original email (from now 9 business days ago) and suggests the desk is shipping out. Ignoring my previous email request that I just wanted a refund since the desk still hadn't shipped out. I did receive the desk 18 business days after initial order. Start setup and go to download the app, a main selling feature for this desk, and cannot find the information anywhere. Turns out, after contacting chat on the website, the Android app being advertised as available for this desk has still not been approved. This whole thing has been a super frustrating experience. Even if the product is great and purportedly has a really good warranty, customer service is terrible and this is false advertising at this point suggesting it has features - like an app to control it and provide helpful health reminders - that are not even in existence. Stay away from this company. I sincerely regret choosing them over the many other options available. The price tag does not reflect better quality or customer support than their competitors.

Five months later and I still haven't received my full order and have been unable to reach anyone at this company via phone, email or live chat on their site for an update. Item was supposed to ship 5/6, order was placed 3/31 so I knew there would be a wait but it is now August and attempts to contact them for updates have fallen on deaf ears. They clearly have poor operations infrastructure and bad customer service if they can't get back to a single customers many requests for updates in 5 months.

This company is a fraud!!! Buyer beware!! Please do not buy from them!!! I bought a zip desk with the Nano Low Profile Under-Mount Power Port. The port came more than a month later.. wrapped in bubble wrap and with no instruction on how to mount it to the table. I decided to return it as I have good without it for over a month. Good luck in contacting the customer service. They DO NOT pick up their phones. They DO NOT Reply to email. They will take their time to respond to you!! When they finally do, they refused to refund me and said that the item I returned was damage!!! This company is a fraud!!!!

I bought an EcoLast Premium Standing Mat from iMovR and had a lot of issues getting in touch with customer support when I wanted to return the product. The mat was not soft to stand on - I found my feet and back hurting while standing on it. I'm also frustrated that they charged a 20% restocking fee on returns. I wished I'd looked into reviews on this company before buying and after my experience with them, I will not buy from them again. They also seem to only show positive reviews on their product on their website, so don't trust what you read on their website.

The $750 desk stopped working after about 9 months. It was impossible to speak with customer service at all. I had a months long correspondence with technical people through a sales person. THey wouldn't even call me back. Don't buy from this company. It's an inferior product with non-existant customer service.

I do not recommend imovr or their treadmills. I purchased the ThermoTread GT Office Treadmill on September 21, 2021. After a hassle with the shipping company where they scheduled a date and then did not show and had to schedule another date I finally received it on October 8th. I got it setup, and it immediately had a squeal coming from the motor. I contacted imovr that same day, and was told to contact their support team, which turns out is outsourced to Spirit Fitness. They told me to level the unit and see if it continued. I verified it was still level from setup and the noise continued. They then asked me for a video. I gave them a video of the noise. I then had to follow up multiple times asking for an update, and was finally told on January 8th, 2022 that they were going to send a new motor, but it was on backorder and they dont know when it will be available. I contacted them again on January 29th asking for an update and still have not heard back. I then contacted imovr directly again on February 1st looking for some sort of resolution for a treadmill that is now so loud I cannot walk on it at all. I have not heard back from them either and today is February 10th. This has literally been the worst customer support experience I have ever had with ANY company. At this time I cannot recommend this company or their treadmills.

Terrible company to deal with and you are never able to deal with a live person. Their shipping company(CEVA) is worse than the the iMovr company itself, which saying something. The shipping company lost and then found the desk and then returned the desk to the origin point, the end result is a very dissatisfied customer who did receive a partial refund (minus a 20% restocking fee) who will never recommend this company at any level. Stay away, far far away. There are better and cheaper standing desks available.

It started with some YouTube videos and an article comparing different standing desks. I wish I wasn’t dumb enough to not realize they’re all affiliated and just pumping this company up. I put in $972 for a Lander Lite desk. Bamboo and white legs. Article and videos said it’s stable and doesn’t shake. Figured it was worth the money. Mistake. After waiting 2.5 months for the desk to show up, and it getting stuck at a completely different state- it finally arrived. Cool. Not much to assemble so that was nice but the plastic lock that they require you to step on took 30 mins each. It’s a terrible design. If you fall into the trap of buying one of these you’ll know what I mean when you’re sweating wishing you never bought this but you can’t return it because it’s out of your pocket to ship it back and 20% restocking fee LOL Then the best part. This thing has 3 buttons. A bell, Bluetooth and star button. The bell is a button that blinks in intervals to remind you to get up. Seriously? Why not just have it as a #1 and utilize it as a memory preset. Bluetooth. They want you to download an app on your phone because this is the only way to get the desk to automatically go to your favorite height without you touching it. Again- why not label this button as #2 as a memory preset function? Even competitor companies like Flexispot and Fully understand this logical design approach. Last button- it’s a star. You hold it for 2 secs to save up to 2 different settings. Sounds cool. Until you realize your $972 standing desk requires you to hold onto the button and it just “pauses” so you know that was your favorite. Instead of you tapping the star and the desk automatically going to that spot. YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR HAND ON THE CONTROLLER THE WHOLE TIME TO GET TO YOUR FAVORITE SPOT. Don’t be dumb like me and naively trust some obscure article comparing iMovr and Fully desks. And the YouTube videos from a photographer guy and Asian guy. Could’ve gotten a standing desk with better design and function for a lot cheaper elsewhere. Also their customer service was nonexistent and we had to call 15 times to locate our desk when it was in another state. LOL.

Ordered a desk one month ago tomorrow. Mind you, I live in Michigan about two hours from the factory. The freight carrier, CEVA, according to their own tracking, has had my desk at the local hub for the past two weeks. I'd really like my desk so I've been calling them. Phone rings for a while then hangs up. So I've been calling iMovr to see what they can do. Customer service is unavailable. Calls just go to voicemail with no option to remain on the line. Voice mails are not returned. They clearly have no interest in customer service. If I ever receive the desk I ordered I sure hope it is perfect because there is no customer service to help with any issues. I recommend buying from a different company who will answer the phone. I wish I had ordered a desk from a reputable company.
