After considerable research, and despite being put off by "review" site operated by iMovr, I decided to splurge on the Landers desk. I've had it now for about 7 months and couldn't be happier. It's attractive, sturdy, smooth and quiet. I also liked the fact that it was made in the USA.
Had a great customer service experience. Was looking for a solid standing desk base to go with a custom desk that weights about 300lbs. Received the base, "Lander line base" easy install and works great. The motor is quiet and smoothly goes up and down without issue. I would recommend them.
Thrilled with this company. The customer service team over chat was so helpful before I purchased. And the product I ended up with has been terrific. I wanted to buy from this company because of the quality they discussed on their site after reading stories about people buying discount desks and it being a miserable experience. But you never know for sure what will happen until you try, and that's a little spooking with a big purchase like a standing desk. Well, this company and its products have lived up to all the info on the website in my case.
Brought the lander DIY desk leg because it says it's made in the USA. It's about twice as much compare to product from overseas, but yeah made in the USA, so why not. Received the desk leg and it's LINAK. It's designed in Denmark, it doesn't say where it was made, and the switch was made in Cambodia. WHERE IS MY MADE IN THE USA DESK LEG?
Pleasure to deal with. All questions and issues addressed quickly and effectively.
The desk and treadmill have changed my life! If you are on zoom calls everyday all day then you need this. The service has also been outstanding!!
Great product support, chat function useful
Desk frame is phenomenal and really easy to assemble. Raises and lowers at a good pace and haven't had a single issue. Really happy with the purchase.
The desk is wonderful and could not have been easier to put together. However, after spending nearly $3,000 it is ridiculous that returns are not included. I purchased the monitor arms thinking they would be useful when in fact they were not. Now I have to pay an exuberant amount to return the item.
The site does a pretty good job of explaining the complicated nature of buying a desk. However, it would benefit immensely from a real-time 3D image of the desk being customized as the user adds, removes and updates features.
The desk is definitely good quality, but for the amount you pay, there is no service at all. I paid over $2000 for the desk, and it was dumped at my doorstep with no option to even get it installed. Every high-end furniture store offers installation service, but not this one. If it were easy to install, it would be one thing, but I had ordered a drawer attachment to my desk and it was definitely not easy to install it. When I called customer service, I was told in no uncertain terms that I was on my own. I will find another American made product next time, but will not go back.
The experience I had is regarding their sales representative Ben Bigglestone as well as their product. The quick background is that I came across the company while dealing with the frustration of a notification on 9/22/20 from Uplift that the desk that I had ordered, and scheduled to ship on 9/29/20, was now going to ship 10/29/20. I understand delays with the current climate but it seemed too long to wait as we already had accepted a 4-6 week initial delivery quote and was at the end of that scope. I browsed American made standing desks hoping for a quicker turnaround and came across this site. I liked what i saw but wanted to ensure that I was ordering the correct desk to suit my needs. I was connected with Ben and he walked me through each of the options in the size and style of desk that I was looking for. He knew all of the details that mattered and was kind enough to email me links for colors and other options for me and my wife to choose from. His customer service was greatly appreciated especially coming off the negative experience I had with Uplift. After placing the order Ben gave me a realistic time frame for delivery and the steps that go into making and delivering the desk. I was very pleasantly surprised to have my desk delivered less than 2 weeks from the time I ordered with Ben. I was a bit anxious to get the desk assembled to see how sturdy it was as I read online about other manufacturers not having very sturdy motorized stand up desks. The assembly was really easy and straight forward. The desk is rock solid when it comes to sturdiness. My wife and I could not be happier with the decision we made to go with iMovr and dealing with Ben Bigglestone.
Desk came in a timely manner, driver called fairly early but was professional. Only downside is the wait, but it's made to order. Only needed one other person to help me lift it a couple times to avoid damaging it or the walls. Put together in 10 minutes, easy and the skinned wood top looks great, not cheap looking at all. Love it so far.
I paid hundreds $$$ for a custom 6’ luxury mat and they They sent my order to the wrong address and when I finally got it 2 weeks later us was dirty snd used. iMovr told me to go get some 409 cleaner snd clean it myself and refused to refund or replace. Terrible customer service
Ordered the zipdesk with tech mount. Zipdesk arrived in 2-4 days and installed very easily. Great product. Tech mount arrived a week later. Can't install as advertised and even spoke via chat before ordering. The website description doesn't disclose that the glide doesn't fit the compact table. What's the point of tech dock if you can't glide. Now wants to return but imovr wont pay for shipping. I will have to spend $30-40 to send it back. Customer service was good for sales but not afterwards. Not happy with the whole business. Recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Ordered the frame only which shipped very promptly and arrived in great condition. Seems very solid and well made. Works well with the table top I purchased from Sunon. Only issue I have is given the quality of the product it is almost embarrassing that they ship such a cheap controller with it. Also didn't see any option when ordering just the frame to get anything different. I would recommend spending a couple of extra dollars and creating a controller that reflects the overall quality of your product. Minimal functionality, the buttons are hard to push and keep engaged, display is hard to read.
The product itself is superb. The rest of the experience left something to be desired: The online chat is unable to connect to customer support. It's strictly sales. That means you can only get updates by calling during their business hours. The support people don't really have much info either. The site said that the combination of options I selected would be ready within 3-4 weeks. The actual delivery was a little over 8 weeks. The online info said to contact the logistics company when it arrived at their depot to arrange for home delivery. What actually happened was they showed up unannounced at my house on the date. Lucky my wife was between teaching classes and able to answer the door. The product arrived with 8 threaded screw holes to attach the base to the legs. 7 of them allowed for screws. The 8th had a chunk of metal in the threads that prevented a screw going in. Neither file nor awl was sufficient. Fortunately I happen to have a tap and was able to knock it out with that. It added about 30 minutes to the assembly, so 45 instead of 15.
After you buy it you are on your own. Great customer service when purchasing but afterwards your fighting people only looking at the bottom line.
The desk was built and shipped promptly, and arrived in good condition. I had no trouble assembling it and putting it to use. One problem I am having is that my Aeron chair arm rest often hits the up/down switch, so I'm trying to figure out if I can move the switch. My other problem was with the delivery company. Initially, they delivered to the correct address in the wrong town. When I checked, they went back and retrieved the package and delivered it a few hours late to the correct town. I'm glad I ordered the faster up/down motor, as it still takes a while to go from sit position to stand position. My son also suggested you add two buttons to the up/down switch, so pushing one button can switch from sit position to stand position. Yes, you can theoretically already do this via the smartphone app, but that's not nearly as convenient as a memory button on the desk itself would be.

Jun 15,2021In theory would be a great product if you don't have any issues with it. I purchased treadmill and desk in February and shortly after it arrived I had 2 problems. The motor was making squeaking noises on startup and the console would not calibrate. I opened tickets with their support which is basically farmed out to Spirit Fitness as they make the product for iMovr. Support is horrible, when you do reach them they ask to send them an email with the evidence then never reply. While the iMovr people are nice and they respond, they are powerless as all they doe is stick their logo on a Spirit Fitness product. Dozens of emails and calls to iMovr and Spirt over months and still have the same 2 issues. This is a premium priced product with ZERO support. They do NOT stand behind their product and defer to Spirit for issues. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper product so that when it breaks and you don't get support you won't feel like you wasted so much money. Update: July 2021 Noticed now that one of the rollers is now making noise on startup. What a lemon this is. Spirit is totally unresponsive. You have to wait on hold, then get the run around. We will see how long this unit hold up. Do not see this lasting 10+ years like my last treadmill. I am using the product, but for how long before one of these main issues finally fails is anyone's guess. My opinion has not changed, avoid this product. A company they is powerless over their supplier is not worth doing business with.
