Jun 07,2023I just want to say the most biggest thank you ever to everyone who has helped to organise a wonderful wedding day for Tom & I. I would like to especially thank Maria for all her help in the run up to the wedding & helping us to fill in all the forms. She has been amazing and so accommodating with everything including answering all our queries out of hours, she made us feel really important. I would like to say a special thank you to Valeria - who has just been incredible this entire journey & helped Tom & I through the whole process. She is such a kind and lovely person who made the organisation of the wedding so easy. I have truly loved working so closely with her. The wedding day was just magical and all the staff at Villa Antiche Mura were spectacular, Mikhal and Claudia were just fantastic and helped myself and Tom tremendously but also all the guests. The band were also absolutely fabulous and we all had an amazing time. The pre-wedding at Foreigners Club was fantastic too. The Bagni Sant’Anna restaurant with the BBQ was also just the most amazing end to our fabulous week. I couldn’t recommend you and your team enough. Thank you again for all your hard work in making a fantastic day.

Jun 01,2023We used Ionian Weddings for our wedding in Sorrento a few weeks ago and they did an amazing job. We had a bit of a hiccup with a wire transfer and the staff at Ionian was so great during this stressful time. They were very helpful and patient with us and we couldn't have asked for a better destination wedding experience. We loved working with Maria (our main wedding coordinator) and Valeria (our local coordinator).

May 31,2023Ioanian weddings has been an absolute god send.. we were extremely stressed and worried about our destination and how the plans may materialise.. wow what an amazing company. Pat made this journey a wonderful and personal experience and we would most definitely recommend Ioanian to friends and family. My partner and I had a bad experience with another travel/wedding firm however from the planning, communication, personalisation and comfort oozing from the service my partner would do the whole thing again.. thankyou thankyou thankyou and all the best to you guys. May 25,2023Wow as the mother of the bride I have to give Ionian Weddings 5 stars. I literally have nothing negative to say about this fabulous company and I would highly recommend them - same for the bride and groom! I was so completely impressed by this wedding company - they sorted the transport, flowers, food, photographs, the most spectacular wedding venues and more.... They made my daughter's wedding in Sorrento truly special and utterly beautiful. Everything ran smoothly, they took care of everything and nothing was a problem. The whole team were super friendly and did an amazing job! Thank you all so much!

Since our initial inquiry she has always responded so quickly & made herself available for anything we need. She took our preferences on board and thanks to her we have now found and booked our dream venue. We can’t wait to continue our wedding planning journey with Ionian weddings!

May 15,2023Me and my partner were very nervous about planning a destination wedding, however after speaking to Lucy at Ionian weddings she put me at complete ease, answered all of my questions and demonstrated a lot of patience. She even organised for us to meet one of the wedding planners in Sorrento before making our decision. Viola in Sorrento was also very friendly, helpful and gave us a brilliant tour around our venue. So far it’s been a very easy process. So excited for our Italian wedding!

May 09,2023My Fiancé and I are getting married in Sorrento, May '24. Ionian weddings have been brilliant! They have very good communication and quick responses to any of my queries. So far, our wedding has been completely stress free, and a very reasonable cost for all of the planning involved. I would highly recommend Ionian weddings for anyone looking for a wedding planner, and a huge thank you to Lucy who has been lovely, and very easy to communicate with. I am looking forward to meeting my designated planner to go through all the smaller details. 10/10.

Apr 29,2023My fiancé and I considered working with Ionian Weddings when planning our Italy 2024 wedding. While we ultimately ended up going in a different direction, we were throughly impressed with the services offered and above all, the wonderful Patricia! Our decision was made due to requiring a venue better suiting our accommodation needs and in no way reflects the services of Ionian - in fact, we were delighted to learn they offer an array of options to add on to the total fees, allowing one to select decor, florals, cake, etc. This is perfect for people like me who work better with visual information and a set number of choices, taking away the sometimes overwhelming task of starting from complete scratch. Ionian offers weddings in the most beautiful locations, and their packages are extensive and well-priced, ensuring clients don’t have to worry about the many small details that go into planning their special day. They have a wide range of packages for a variety of budgets and I would definitely recommend taking a look! Again, we cannot speak on the wedding planning or event itself, but the pre-decision process was made easy, particularly because of Patricia. Patricia was absolutely lovely and helped us with our many, many questions. She put in so much effort to assist us in identifying our perfect venue and has always been kind and patient since we first began communicating a few months ago. She really is a star, and as people planning our first (and last, ha!) wedding, while wading into unfamiliar waters, we were lucky to have the support of Patricia to guide us through the process. We are forever grateful for the time she dedicated to us and while we will not be working with Ionian, we wish the team the best of luck!

Feb 01,2023So we got married in September 2022 at the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Positano and had our reception at Castore, in the outskirts of Sorrento - both were absolutely stunning venues. We were able to find our ideal venue following a call and a few emails with the team and we found the booking process pretty straight forward. Communication was a bit scarce for a period of time after we booked but I think that’s because the real planning process and agreeing on all the finer details only really needs to start around 6 months before. Our main wedding planner on the UK side was Lindsay, who was amazing - she was always really helpful and responsive to my many emails, but completely made me feel relaxed in the run up to the wedding. Given we booked during Covid, we were fortunate enough to go and visit our venue around 6 months before the wedding which gave us a chance to meet the priest, florist etc. and our wedding planner in Italy, Antonella. Again, we cannot speak highly enough of Antonella - she was incredibly warm and welcoming, accommodating of all our requests and went the extra mile for any last minute preparations. The whole day really did run like clockwork with the help of Lindsay, Antonella and Anna and we will always be grateful for them pulling together the wedding we always dreamed of. They are all an absolute credit to Ionian Weddings. I also have to comment on Castore as a venue because that too exceeded all of our expectations. Bernardo and Barbara were so flexible and accommodating and they laid out our reception beautifully. The venue itself has the most incredible views and the sunset was just breathtaking. We have the most beautiful photos to cherish (courtesy of Mark at Valentina Weddings - a supplier of Ionian who we would 100% recommend too) and want to thank the amazing team at Castore for organising our perfect wedding reception.

Nov 15,2022I had the most amazing wedding in Portugal thanks to all of the hard work put in by Ionian weddings. Right from the early planning, to the execution. It was unbelievably stress free and everything was taken care of. My planner Maria could not do enough and was fantastic, responding to my queries and understood everything I wanted. The staff at the resort were also fantastic and made the day so perfect. I was worried about getting married abroad and assumed it would be more complicated than a home wedding. But I am pleased to say I was wrong. I highly recommend Ionian weddings to anybody thinking of going away for their special day. It was a really enjoyable experience right from the beginning and the day was more perfect than I ever could have imagined

Nov 09,2022We definitely recommend Ionian Weddings to plan your wedding abroad in Italy. We were very satisfied with how everything turned out. We booked the wedding pre Covid and had to postpone the wedding by one year. We had a few contacts initially which kept changing, so we didn’t know who we were dealing with and it got a little frustrating. Eventually though, for the final year and the proper lead up we had one main contact, Lindsay, who was lovely to deal with from start to finish, and reassuring us when we needed it, had concerns etc. Thank you Lindsay 🙂 Antonella, who dealt with us when we got to Sorrento was great, so friendly and easy to talk to too. We got married at the Cloisters, followed by the Hidden Hillside Gem, both of which are beautiful and such lovely settings. Thank you Ionian Weddings for all of your help in allowing us to have our perfect day 🙂

Nov 02,2022The most amazing experience from start to finish! We always knew we wanted to get married abroad but were a little overwhelmed by where to begin and how it would all come together. Ionian weddings made it so easy and explained all of our options so well - Rachel was so personable and friendly throughout the process! Dana Villas in Santorini was our dream destination. We were both a little apprehensive as we hadn’t seen the venue before the wedding day due to covid stopping our initial visit but it was exactly like the pictures - if not better! The views were incredible and both the ceremony and reception terraces were decorated exactly how we had hoped. The team at Dana Villas were faultless - Kostas in particular! It was such a relaxed atmosphere. Stella and Sofia kept us updated with everything we needed to know throughout our stay in Santorini and meeting with them the day before to go through everything made us feel really relaxed and reassured about the wedding day and how it would go. Our biggest thanks to Elina at ‘Dream On Photography’ for making us and our guests feel so relaxed and enjoy every second of being photographed on the day. We added an extra three hours on top of the two hours included in the package and are really glad that we did. We are over the moon with the photos. They capture the day perfectly. We also loved our ceremony video with ‘Magic Videography’ and appreciated being able to choose our own music for this. Our whole experience was incredible and we all had an amazing time! Our friends and family are still talking about it three months later. Thank you Ionian Weddings!

Jun 07,2023Best wedding planners ever. I would like to thank Ionian weddings for making our wedding in Sorrento perfect. Communication was brilliant throughout the process. We had Lindsay as our planner in the UK and she went above and beyond for us. She was always good at getting back to us with requests and helped us throughout. We met up with Antonella initially in Sorrento when we went for our walk around and she explained everything from where the venues where to meeting our florist to even recommending where to get pictures taken. When it came to the wedding we had Viola who planned it and she was just amazing. She kept in touch, helped us with everything we needed. Went above and beyond to arrange everything and made our day look and feel perfect. All the small and bigger details where taken care of thanks to her. The flowers where just beautiful and even though we had rain the full week before she put us at ease and thankfully turned out beautiful on the day of. If anyone is wondering if they need a planner then choose this company, no stress, no hassle just made out day unforgettable.
