Jul 01,2022We got married in June 2022 at the Cloisters, followed by a reception at the Hillside Hidden Gem Castore. Ionian weddings have been brilliant, even when we had to postpone through Covid everything was taken care of. The whole process is made easy and stress free, with a step by step guide to help you understand the documents required through to the choices of extras. We had a couple of planners due to postponing who were all helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Lindsay our UK planner who helped us through the final stages. Our planner in Italy Viola was wonderful. From the helpful tips on finishing touches through to organising guests & helping arrange my dress for photos on the day, nothing was too much trouble. Also special mention to Bernard at Castore, we cannot recommend this venue enough. The stunning setting, food and service was simply amazing ! The hairstylist/make-up artist, florist, musicians and photographer, all organised through Ionian weddings were fantastic ! Thank you to all that were involved in our wedding day. We would highly recommend Ionian weddings.

Jun 28,2022We got married in Santorini on 12th June 2022. It was our absolute dream day and we can’t thank Ionian Weddings enough for all that they did. It can be quite daunting when planning a wedding abroad but Ionian made the whole process so smooth and stress free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of getting married abroad!

Jun 28,2022We got married in Sorrento in June after a few postponements. The wedding was fantastic and I can’t recommend Ionian weddings enough. Getting married abroad is quite daunting, and with the added stress of not knowing what restrictions would be in place at the time of booking it was a bit of a leap of faith. But I needn’t have worried. Everything was perfect. Lindsay, the UK wedding planner was fab, she kept me right and answered every question I had. Viola, our planner in Italy, was brilliant - she couldn’t do enough for us. The day was just perfect start to finish. The hairdressers, make up artist, florist, musicians and photographers all arranged by Ionian were great! My friends and family can’t stop talking about it - we all loved it. Sorrento is a very special place for us all now. I can’t recommend Ionian Weddings enough.

Jun 24,2022We got married finally on 7th June 2022, after 2 postponements. Our UK wedding planner Maria was very helpful throughout, she was happy to speak to us anytime to discuss and concerns or clarifications we needed. We got married in Sorrento, Italy at the Cloisters followed by our reception at Citrus Grove Farmhouse. Both venues were amazing our Italian wedding planner Antonella was brilliant, she was actually the same lady who we met in 2019 when we viewed the different venues. She went above and beyond my now husband lost a crown whilst we were eating dinner, 3 days before the wedding, and Antonella found us a dentist at 7.30pm on a Friday night! Who sorted it out for us the day before the wedding, otherwise he would have been smiling with his mouth closed as it was a front tooth!! All the staff we have dealt with at Ionian have been massively helpful and genuinely nice people. Any couples out there who want something different from the standard hotel venues I would strongly recommend the Citrus Grove, the place is amazing, the staff were absolutely fantastic the whole day was just fabulous from start to finish!! I would highly recommend Ionian weddings.

Jun 22,2022We got married on 10th June 2022 at San Galgano Abbey, followed by a reception at the Tuscan Farmhouse. From day one the experience with Ionian Weddings was brilliant. Cassi was very patient whilst we explored various options, finally settling on the Abbey and Farmhouse, as it allowed us to have two nights with our guests in an exclusive setting. Throughout the planning stage Maria was very helpful, exceptionally quick at replying on weekdays and weekends, and she made the process so easy. I really didn't want to spend hours and hours planning and Maria helped make it very simple and efficient. Even though we hadn't seen the venue or met anyone from the Company, I still felt assured that the day would be amazing and everything would run smoothly...and I was right! The venue was even better than I imagined. The day before the wedding we met Serena who is the organiser whilst at the venue and she was so lovely. We had a pre-wedding meeting and discussed arrangements for that evening (we were having a pre-wedding pizza party) and then for the actual wedding day. She had all our communications and notes with Maria so she knew everything about what we had planned and we discussed the final details. She then left us to enjoy the rest of the day and greet the guests etc. The wedding day was absolutely brilliant! The ceremony, the flowers, food, photographer and everyone who worked at the venue were beyond our expectations. All our guests said how amazing everything was and we felt so grateful to be in such a wonderful setting, getting married with our closest family and friends. I would 100% recommend Ionian Weddings for wedding planning, from start to finish the experience has been flawless. The only thing I wish is that we could do it all over again!

Jun 22,2022I have nothing but amazing things to say about this company! The wedding planners made my wedding so stress free and it ran so smooth. We loved every minute of our special day. We had a few hiccups during our holiday which had nothing to do with the wedding day but we were still helped out with issues outside the wedding which I found phenomenal. This kind of service is something you don’t normally expect but they were always willing to help. I must say a special Thankyou to our England wedding planner Lindsay who organised our special day from start to finish but also our Italian wedding planner Rosaria, they were both fantastic. Best day of my life all thanks to these wonderful people. Xx

Jun 21,2022We have just returned home from the most perfect wedding in Santorini. Rachel, Sofia & Stella have been amazing and so patient. Nothing was too much trouble. After having to postpone due to covid everything was made very easy for us. We cannot fault a thing. If your trying to plan a wedding abroad Ionian are the best company to book with. Jun 19,202231.05.2022 - Lindos, Rhodes, Greece 🇬🇷 The wonderful Ionian Weddings have ensured that from start to finish everything has been just perfect. We met with the lovely Michelle in Rhodes back in 2019 and planned our Lindos beach wedding for 2021 after falling in love with the venue. Unfortunately we postponed until 2022 and changing the date was made so easy and stress free by Ionian something which we cannot thank them enough for. Our UK advisor was Helen and she was AMAZING! She handled everything and was always on the end of an email for my millions of questions, nothing was ever too much trouble, even my particular visions for decor and strange requests for Gyros as a midnight snack! We cannot thank Helen enough for helping to make our wedding planning stress free and brining our visions to life! When in Rhodes we met with Michelle for our pre wedding meeting, it was really helpful to have some time to run though the day and finalise everything, Michelle was also amazing, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, all of our guests also commented on how lovely and organised Michelle was, always on hand to help make the day flow nicely! Our special day was absolutely perfect, a real fairytale! So well organised by Michelle and the whole team, everything we could have dreamed of and more. Our visions really did come to life! We will be forever grateful to Michelle, Helen and the whole team at Ionian weddings for helping us to create our perfect day with memories we will all cherish forever! Jun 17,2022Myself and my husband got married in Cyprus 31.05.2022 we couldn’t recommend Ionian wedding enough we started planning our Wedding back in 2019 and due to covid etc it got pushed back but cassi and Helen made sure everything was just prefect from start to finish I couldn’t recommend them Enough our day was just amazing nothing was to much trouble and they make planning a wedding stress free and very enjoyable 🤍

Everyone we spoke with in the UK & in Greece was lovely and put us at ease. We enjoyed our experience with Ionian and would use them again if we renew our vows in 20 years. Thank you team. Jun 15,2022We booked our wedding in skiathos! The wedding package was priced at a good price. The flowers, the venue the restaurant, food the cake ( was the best cake I’ve ever eaten! ) was extremely high quality! Lindsey Ruthvan was our wedding planner in the uk, she was really lovely and had the hard job of taking over of wedding from Another planner after delaying the wedding for two years due to the pandemic, she was calming and really easy to talk to. Lindsey responded to emails really quickly And got the job done. George was our planner in Greece , he was lovely professional and took us to the florist , the restaurant, beach and the bakery! Nothing was to much trouble. He was amazing!

Jun 08,2022We booked our wedding in December 2020. A lady I knew used Ionian Weddings and couldn't speak more highly. Cassi phoned us a few days after we made an enquiry and was extremely helpful and listened to everything we wanted. We decided with Sorrento at the Cloisters and Castore as I didn't want a beach wedding and we wanted the wedding to be legal. Lindsay Ruthven was our UK wedding planner and she literally took care of EVERYTHING and I mean everything, she was so calm, reasuring, positive and very patient with us. She gave us her phone number to contact her at anytime. Once we were in Italy we met with Viola who was our wedding planner over there. We spent a full day with her seeing the florist, photographers, venues. She was very friendly, professional and again reassuring. I was worried about the weather as all week it was forecast thunderstorms on our wedding day, she always had a plan b. We will be forever grateful to Ionian Weddings, Lindsay, Viola, Bernado and the fantastic photographer Fabio. We will definitely be going back to Sorrento and we cannot wait for our wedding pictures 🥰 Thank you everyone again Mr and Mrs Graham xxx

Jun 07,2022Where do we start with Ionian Weddings, well from the moment I started browsing the internet looking at weddings in Santorini I came across this company, and we knew it was the company to book our wedding with. I spoke to Cassi after filling in a questionnaire and she answered all of our questions responding to them very quickly. We were then appointed a Uk planner named Rachel, this lady is absolutely phenomenal at her job and a real pleasure to deal with and I really can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for us to make our special day so amazing! In Santorini we were given two planners Stella and Sofia who we had a pre wedding meeting with where they went through the whole day down to the fine detail, again these ladies are brilliant at there job! The wedding day was absolutely brilliant the whole thing was spectacular, the photographer was brilliant, the videographer was brilliant, the waiters/waitresses were amazing, and the food was out of this world! All of our guests can’t get over how good it was, and my new wife and I can’t stop looking at the pictures. I can’t recommend this company enough for anybody looking for a wedding abroad with no hassle definitely give these a call! Thanks to all at Ionian Weddings you’re amazing!

Jun 05,2022Choosing Ionian to plan our Sorrento wedding was the best decision we made! They have been fantastic throughout and we can’t thank them enough!! We really weren’t sure what we wanted but after completing the questionnaire and from the first call with Jane we were sold by the variety of packages they offer. Immediately Jane our UK planner was friendly, helpful and provided efficient advice. Considering we have spoken for a few years due to delays with Covid she remained so supportive and positive to help us create the perfect day! We also had the pleasure of meeting Viola our Sorrento planner when we went to visit the location in 2020 who again was so brilliant and continued to assist us on arrival this year and even after our wedding and gave us some good ideas that our guests loved! The saxophone and lemon cart where a great touch for anyone thinking of getting married here! Nothing was ever to much to ask and we felt in the best hands throughout! We got married at the Cloisters and then Hillside Gem - the most beautiful venues in which our guests were amazed! Bernardo the owner of Hillside was also fantastic and the reception went so smoothly with his organisation. So anyone thinking of getting married abroad, definitely do, and if so, choose Ionian as honestly can’t fault them! We had a fairytale week with lots of celebrations and magical memories! Jun 01,2022I’d highly suggest to anyone looking for a destination wedding to use Ionian, from start to finish everything was stress free and smooth sailing with them making our special day that much more special. Rachel our UK planner was so helpful and kind dealing with all my many many questions and wants with ease, she communicated all our wants and needs with the team in Santorini and everything was just as desired (actually soo much better) Sofia & Stella our co-ordinators in resort were truly amazing and from our pre-wedding meeting through to the running of the day everything exceed all expectations by far. We chose paradise terrace and the pictures honestly do not do this place justice. The management through to the staff were helpful attentive and accommodating, the service on the day was impeccable( being a hospitality manager I do not say that lightly) the wait staff through to the mixology at the bar through to the gastronomy, everything was PERFECT. It was a dream wedding, stress and hassle free executed by some real stars. I cannot thank Rachel, Sofia & Stella enough for all their hard work and patience it was a day me and my husband will never forget.

May 30,2022After deciding that we didn't want to get married in the UK but a country we had previously fallen in love with, we conducted our own research into which wedding planners to go with. Ionian Weddings were one of the first companies to respond to us (Shout out to the lovely Cassie from sales who was incredibly helpful!) with multiple package options right for the overall theme and budget we had in mind. The packages were beautifully presented & the fact that Ionian Weddings had a dedicated UK based team as well as local destination teams gave us huge reassurance. We then went ahead and booked the deposit without first seeing the venue (due to COVID) for the exact date we originally wanted. A huge thank you to you for all of the pre wedding planning by Maria and a massive thank you to Ariana who really was the star of the show on the Croatian side of things. Ariana is fantastic at what she does, you can really see her experience shine through, and the pre wedding meeting a few days before including a venue run through, we found to be amazing for helping any last minute nerves. The fact Ariana was there for us through everything and on hand whenever we needed her was incredible. Despite a few unfortunate issues, like the catamaran breaking down a few days before and the court interpreter being ill the morning of the wedding, whenever Ariana called us to let us know she already had the solution at hand so there was no need to stress. The day itself was as close to pure magic as I could imagine. Everything was perfect and every one of our family members who attended has said how beautiful it was start to finish. Of all the destinations we could have chosen, Croatia has always had a special place in our hearts and we are so happy we were able to show many of our family who hadn't been to Croatia the chance to experience it all for themselves. If you have any doubt about choosing to go with Ionian Weddings, please be rest assured you are in very capable hands. If I was able to go back and do it all over again I would, our wedding day/night was the happiest I have ever been.
