Jun 02,2023So first a foremost a BIG thanks to Taff & Shoaib for their wisdom and patience for getting me test ready. It’s been a long old road but as off today I’m a HGV driver! I’ve paid for every penny on this course and it not cheap but hopefully it be very rewarding. So stick with it to whom ever may be reading and keep going and if your looking enough to get one these training you your in very good hands! 🚛 5⭐️

May 27,2023I past my NRI LGV driving instructor course yesterday first time after having never instructed before. It was very hard and challenging, and I could not have past without the excellent instructor Chris. His experience and expertise was amazing. I had an amazing experience, and I really enjoyed my course.

May 27,2023Passed my HGV Class 2 driving assessment - first attempt up in Northampton with Kev & ‘his book’ on Friday 26th May. Was a brilliant week, Kev was really knowledgeable & patient. Couldn’t have faulted a thing. Next will be my Class 1….

May 27,2023I have just completed 5 days training class c+e. From only ever driving a van to being able to confidently drive a 40 foot truck around the streets of Leicester. I can put that down to the excellent training given by Roland Hulls. What a first class instructor! He was professional, informative and consistent throughout the whole process. What a credit to J Coats.

May 27,2023After completing my C1 license with J Coates 13 years ago, this week I returned and have completed my D license. Both times I have enjoyed my courses and have learnt a lot. Both times I have passed my test 1st time and both with 2 minor faults. This week I had the pleasure of being taught by Chris Fox. Chris has been a great instructor, very helpful, always made me feel at ease and although I was nervous got my through my test as above. Thanks Chris! My next goal is to obtain my C or C+E license and would not hesitate to come back to J Coates for the training.

May 26,2023I would just like to say Lewis my class 2 instructor was excellent he was very relaxed but honest with me from the start. He praised me and guided me through my lessons up to my test. I was a little nervous at the start but Lewis helped me so much. A generally nice man. A credit to j coates.

May 26,2023I highly recommend using J Coates, especially for disabled people; I am profoundly deaf. If you let them know in advance, they will organise to meet your needs as possible. People there are friendly and ensure you fully understand before the assessments. Thanks to them for me to pass on the first attempt. Kevin Draper is a great person, patient and helpful through the driving sessions and pre driving to assessment venue on the test day. Thanks to him.

May 25,2023Just passed my hgv at Nottingham with Rob Pearson. I cant thank him enough for his patience with me, when I had my wobbles (which there were a few) he had the knowledge and the experience to help me kick my nerves into touch and get that pass. Top bloke. Anyone wanting to pass, I can throughly recommend Rob tyres and tarmac Pearson.

May 25,2023I worked with Tristan at J Coates in St Albans to obtain my C1 license. Tristan was supportive throughout the whole process and gave good constructive feedback during the process. I felt comfortable throughout the training and would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to gain a HGV qualification. Thanks to Tristan and J Coates, I passed first time!

May 23,2023Joe (Joseph jefferys) was a great instructor, he made me feel confident and safe whilst learning, managed to get me out of 30 years of bad habits in just 4 days, he has a great mix of patience and knowledge. I passed first time and I can honestly say that the quality of training really shown in my test. Would recommend him and this company to anyone wanting to move into to hgv’s

They all made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my lessons and made me ready for my test. I got all the knowledge i needed from them and just want to say a huge thankyou!
