Rang JLA on jubilee weekend, staff helpful, engineer arrived following day, worked quickly and efficiently, JLA kept me informed all the way.

The one star is for the courteous and friendly service call centre team who seem to try their best. Beyond that everything else is laughable. Four months after logging a service call out for an LPG boiler under maintenance contract, we still have a 24/7 leak due to a simple, faulty PRV, which seems beyond JLA's ability to source and fix. Five engineer call outs, endless promises that it will be fixed in a few days and 18 weeks on, the constant leak has led to absurd water wastage, higher bills as a result and finally, the last straw, a damaged and leaking flat roof. It is beyond my understanding how it has come to this and how a simple request never seems to be logged correctly or dealt with appropriately. Whatever the reason I'm compelled to deliver the verdict that JLA's service offer, on boilers at least, is worthless and to be avoided.

I have been waiting for over a month for a report! I was interested to read that the start and finish times on the Service report were the same 16:03:45. I assumed that there would be a report to go with this rapid visit that you will forward to me ASAP. No report was received and no other comment other than. "it's with assessors making final adjustments." Stop please don't bother with the report you have had more than enough time and I would like you send my money back Invoice No. 139033

They are only after your money. I have been doing business with JLA for 30 years, and they used to be an excellent company with a brilliant technical support department. However, that all changed when they were taken over by a private equity firm and now their customer service is a joke. It's basically non existent. All they want is for you to book an engineer at huge cost, no matter how small the job. Please be very careful in your dealings with them. I have had to call in a personal favour with someone who has worked there for over 20 years (thank you) to solve a problem that could have been solved by a 1 minute conversation because all the trained robots on the phone would say is that that I had to book an engineer. If you can go somewhere else, then do.

initial call out 24hours however promised call back next day but had to wait 48hours due to staff being sick and this left us with approx 4 days washing pile up in care home. However when called regarding the delay arranged someone to come out at the weekend and it was fixed.
