Located on our first floor, Angela's Coffee Lounge offers a diverse selection of speciality coffee, freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes and delicious lunches prepared with premium, local ingredients.

Jan 18,2025Members of staff always engage with us on route around the store whether managers or assistants. Our recent contact has been purchasing via the furniture and carpet department and also the reception downstairs. They were all helpful. We also use Angela's for lunch or a snack and all the staff perform at the same high level.

Jan 15,2025After buying a new build noticed some of the flooring was a slightly different colour I didn’t need to worry as they agreed to replace it without any hassle. Kev & Jordan arrived and in the end had to lift all the flooring, re screed and lay new LVT can’t thank them enough they didn’t stop and managed to get it done in 2 days saving a lot of upheaval cheers boys

Jason who did the fitting went over and above to make sure that we were happy and he was fitting the floor as we wanted. We really appreciated his attention to detail. They handled the delivery, unpacking and setting up the two pieces in accomplished style. Jan 11,2025The service we received from John Doe was excellent. Tina in the store was very helpful, delivery time was less than we were told it might be. Simon and Scott who delivered our sofa were incredible, I couldn't fault their service. I was worried that the sofa may not fit through the front door, which it didn't. Therefore simon and Scott took out our front window!! The larger parts of the sofa therefore came through the window. It was put together in no time at all and we are incredibly happy with our new sofa. Thank you.

Nothing was too much trouble for Stewart, he spent time talking us through the various options and rearranging the showroom to allow us to see tables and chairs together! The delivery team of Scott & Simon were friendly and polite, carefully placing and assembling our sofa, table and chairs - very happy customers, would highly recommend this company.

Jan 07,2025The experience we had when visiting John Doe to look at a sofa we had seen on line was in keeping with good old fashioned customer experience. Somebody on hand to point you in the right direction and then inform you they or any of their colleagues will be pleased to further assist. Being able to wander around the well laid out showroom ensuring your choice is the one you want. Staff were knowledgeable about the products and there was no hard sell for extras. We have previously brought carpets from John Doe and we were pleased with the quality, price and experience. One thing I would say is having the cost of delivery added to your purchase. It would be difficult to put a sofa and chair in your car and hiring a van would be more costly but why not just factor the delivery cost into the price of the purchase? Having said that we would highly recommend John Doe for choice and quality of goods, fair pricing, really pleasant showroom and helpful staff.

Staff were lovely, didn’t constantly pester you like staff in other stores do (that really p****s me off) and took the time to go through all the various options available. Delivered on time by Simon and Scott who were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended
