Located on our first floor, Angela's Coffee Lounge offers a diverse selection of speciality coffee, freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes and delicious lunches prepared with premium, local ingredients.

May 12,2024Bought a new corner sofa and love seat. Served by Tom on the shop floor who was knowledgeable and not in the least bit pushy, which I rate! Delivery was clear and drivers Simon and Leon called ahead to let us know they were on their way. Extremely polite, efficient and made sure we were happy before they left. We would highly recommend John Doe as a local, family firm who clearly care about their customers! It pays to shop local rather than with a larger sofa company where you’re just a number. Very happy with the sofa quality so far and super comfy. Thanks team John Doe, we won’t hesitate to use you again! 🌟

May 11,2024Unbelievable service and great people to deal with. We actually saw their advert on Sky (on a You Tube presentation I believe) anyway my wife suggested that we go there. I hate buying carpets as I always feel that the salespeople look at me as though I am ''fresh meat'' and a lamb to the slaughter, however, I didn't get that ''vibe'' with John Doe at all. All of the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and we were handled by Simon who came across as very helpful and genuine. The standard of customer service, at all stages was exceptional. I would also like to thank the various admin staff who kept us updated and also the two carpet fitting gentlemen who couldn't have been more helpful and polite. Easily 100 out of 100 for John Doe and we would certainly use them as our furniture and carpet providers of choice from now on. As anyone knows who reads my reviews, I tell it as I see it so believe me, this company is exceptional. Update 15/02/2025. On 13th February, we went back to John Doe for the third time to buy yet another carpet from them and this time a mattress too This time, we spoke firstly to a lovely lady called Sam in the carpet division who like Simon there before was above and beyond helpful. She was very professional and after buying a 3rd carpet from them, we went to the bedding department and spoke to a very knowledgeable man there called Stuart, and between them, Stuart and Sam were absolutely amazing. Another 5 start review from me for John Doe. Quick thumbs up for delivery drivers Simon and Leon from John Doe who delivered a new mattress and were helpful and polite and really careful of our new plaster walls.

May 11,2024Lovely friendly delivery guys Simon and Leon, arrived as expected and lots of care delivering our new sofas and making sure that everything was ok for us.. The whole experience from purchase in store to receiving our delivery has been seemless and stress free. Quite a novelty these days!

May 10,2024We have had new floors, new furniture and excellent service from John Doe. Unfortunately we decided we had made a mistake with the furniture so contacted to see if we could change it. There was no problem doing this and Tom in sales helped us make a choice. The original furniture was collected today and replaced with the new choice. Scott and Leon efficiently removed the old and replaced with the new. I cannot praise the company enough for their customer care and exceptional service. John Doe will be our first choice next time we are planning a purchase.
