Located on our first floor, Angela's Coffee Lounge offers a diverse selection of speciality coffee, freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes and delicious lunches prepared with premium, local ingredients.

Nov 29,2022Brilliantly competitive pricing on a fabulous sofa from Stressless, Stuart the sales manager made our interaction with John Doe a breeze, so efficient and easy from start to finish. Arrived exactly on time, delivery was absolutely superb - the drivers/delivery guys were professional and polite and arranged everything in minimal time with maximum efficiency. So pleased with our sofa, the quality is excellent - we’ve certainly got exactly what we’ve paid for and then some!! Definitely recommend John Doe of Diss. Would have no hesitation in returning to them in the future for other items. All in all a fantastic experience - thank you.

Nov 24,2022I have the most wonderful set of long matching curtains in my living room, made exactly how I wished them to be, thick, luxurious, with matching pelmets and the material is utterly fabulous with adorable tie backs. In the summer they keep the heat out of the living room, in the winter they keep the heat in. John Doe's curtain department is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and they actually make exactly what you want, your curtains done your way with expert guidance. They even come out and measure up, fit the curtains and openly discuss your ideas so you get something that is breathtakingly beautiful and a real enhancement to a room. We also have a great blind added to the office that fits the window perfectly and is equally good at keeping the heat in or out, depending upon the time of year. If you want something really special then look no further as these guys are simply the BEST.

Nov 19,2022We have always been given a high standard of service over the years each time we have purchased from the store.The staff are friendly and accommodating and nothing is to much trouble.So when we decided to go to visit their coffee shop Angela's we weren't disappointed.The staff were so friendly it felt like they were inviting us into their home.The menu is varied with very tasty food which is fresh 5 *(Locally sourced/In seasonal products) and the cleanliness was 5*.Well done John Doe

Nov 14,2022Really, really, really helpful. I had a problem with blinds i bought from John Lewis - who were useless in putting me in touch with fitter who could come round and fix things for me. John Doe booked someone to come round in a few days, in spite of not having bought the blinds from them! I will go there for ALL my curtains, blinds, furniture.

Oct 07,2022I really must thank the staff in the flooring department of John Doe for their help and patience - they were extremely prompt in coming out to measure and at the 11th hour I decided to change my choice of vinyl flooring for the conservatory, kitchen and utility - they couldn't have been more helpful and obliging - I had the "A" team fit the vinyl - they were absolutely brilliant and extremely efficient - the whole floor area was fitted in 4 hours - amazing - thank you all very much

Sep 16,2022We moved to Diss in December 2021- 9 months later we have brought, our dining room table, kitchen flooring in August, bathroom flooring in June and blinds for 3 rooms back in June too (if my memory serves me right!). The service from all of their staff are pretty darn perfect and nothing is too much of a trouble. Which is why we're not done with them yet, some more flooring planned and more rooms with blinds! Thank you for making it so easy for us to pick what we love to help make the house our home! Aug 08,2022Very helpful staff at John Doe carpets plus a big selection of styles. We wanted to have a rug made from the carpet material made to a specific size and they have arranged this for us as. They have an expert who can do the edging for the company which is great.

Jul 31,2022We recently went into John Doe’s to see about replacing our kitchen blind, but decided whilst there to have a quick look at the bed department first….. A big thank to Stewart, who was very approachable and helpful, with his vast knowledge about the range of beds on display, that would cater for every budget. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. However, we came out having purchased the most comfortable, adjustable bed and appropriate fitting bed linen. We are both so impressed with the instant improvement in the quality of our sleep. The bed delivery was prompt and the blind is on order. Definitely a great experience shopping local with excellent service throughout. Delivery team were very friendly and helpful and took great care with the installation. An added bonus was visiting the new coffee shop which even caters for gluten free. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Jul 25,2022Got a flyer from them through the front door, had an interest in Luxaflex vertical blinds, thought I’d have a look on their website, searches for “Luxaflex” and “vertical blinds” gave no results… website is full of self praise but of little practical help…. Won’t bother them again…

Jun 10,2022We purchased all our carpets from John Doe. When we first went into the store I thought they were going to be expensive, it’s a very nice store, very large and they have some really lovely stuff and you just get that expensive vibe when you walk in. Anyway, we thought they were very well priced and have done a really good job. To our horror a few weeks after the carpets were fitted my son managed to melt a hole in one of them with a hair drier. John Does have done such a good repair I can’t even find where it was. So sum up our experience, I would say they are fantastic as they are good value, they have excellent customer service and a great finished result.

Jun 05,2022Popped into the store on a whim as I had heard there had been some upgrades and a coffee shop, the food, coffee and atmosphere is lovely, such a nice place if you wanted to meet up with a friend. I also need some new curtains so decided to have a look around. The lady who I assume manages the curtain department, I think her name was Haley greeted me very nicely, she made me feel instantly comfortable, asking me if I needed any help or advice but wasn’t your typical pushy sales person. I spoke about what I was thinking I needed and have a lot of things to think about. Definitely somewhere I feel is overlooked. Will be back.

Jun 04,2022Big shout out to the lovely Scott & Hayley in the curtain department who have given me nothing but professional help advise and their time in helping me choose the fabrics for my soft furnishings. They have been fitted today by Mark, again very professional, curtains are made to a very high standard! I can highly recommend, nothing has been too much trouble from allowing me to take the books home to ordering me loads of swatch’s bringing in carpet samples to make sure everything worked with the colours before placing my final order. Many Thanks it’s a been a very pleasurable experience.
