We recently purchased a new Kia Sportage Hybrid, our Salesman was Peter Punch in JPMG Kia Douglas. It was a pleasure to deal with you Peter who was very responsive, no waffle talk, straight to the point. To quote a John Templeton classic "It is nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice". Peter demonstrated that in abundance 5*,the way all car sales representatives should be.
Overall, my experience of buying the MG4 from Johnson & Perrot mahon point has been mixed. On the positive side, the initial communication and engagement with the dealership were satisfactory, and they provided helpful information during the ordering process. However, I faced significant challenges with communication and updates on the status of my car order. There were discrepancies in the information provided by the dealership and MG Ireland, leading to confusion and frustration. The lack of clarity and timely updates made it difficult for me to plan and manage expectations. One issue that stood out was the delay in receiving accurate information about the delivery of my car. The dealership failed to provide a clear timeline, leaving me uncertain about when I could expect the car to be shipped and delivered. Deposit was put down in December 2022 and after all the delays the car was delivered in July 2023. This lack of transparency impacted my confidence in the dealership and the overall buying experience. Moreover, when seeking answers and updates, I felt the need to directly contact MG Ireland. While their response was prompt and informative, it highlighted the communication gaps between the dealership and the manufacturer. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the absence of an apology for the inconvenience caused by the poor communication and customer care. A sincere acknowledgment of the issues and a proactive effort to address them could have significantly improved the overall experience. In conclusion, while Johnson & Perrot demonstrated competence during the initial stages of the purchase, there were significant shortcomings in communication and customer care during the later stages. To enhance the customer experience, I recommend improving transparency, providing timely updates, and fostering better communication between the dealership and MG Ireland. Addressing these issues will undoubtedly contribute to a more satisfying buying journey for future customers.

My experience was good because everything simply went smoothly and if I'm correct it was Chloe working the service desk. She did a great job and is very pleasant to deal with. A gentleman also helped explain something at payment who was also very pleasant. I've had my Kia serviced here for 4 years and it has always been a good experience and the Kia has run perfectly during that time. I usually call to see if the car is ready and it always is when I call, so it would be "perfect" if I got a call as soon as the car is ready but that is really not a big deal. I have no reservations about giving a five star review.
Another great service on our Kia sportage last week canโt fault the service team here or the sales team been dealing with John and Peter since I started buying cars here and currently on my 4th car I bought from them and so will the 5th in 2 years time or sooner if the deal is right
I would have expected the car to have been wiped down as part of the service. While it was vacuumed, the small touches make the difference.
Efficient service, car cleaned inside and washed. Looked like new when I collected it.
I paid approx EUR300 for Smart Paint treatment on my Honda Civic, as well as approx EUR300 for paint protection. On receipt of the vehicle, I pointed out to the salesperson that the fine scratches on the car were very evident, indicating that very little if any Smart Paint treatment had been applied. The salesperson indicated that I must bring the car in at some stage for this to be redone. Why was this not done before delivery? Does the paint protection need to be redone as well, if the Smart Paint protection has to be done? I have to now deliver the car to J&P and have no car at my service for the day. I also picked up that the rear seat latch (to fold the seat down) is broken (spring is loose), I have sent an email to the saleperson in this regard. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service from J&P.
Shamus is a real assist to this company. , he is so helpful , keeping me up to date on cars that might suit me next time I want to change my car . There is also a girl in stores( forgot her name ) young & she was so kind , & helpful when my car was due itโs first service
We bought our car from Marc Gorman and we really enjoyed the way he listened and responded to our questions. His knowledge of the car was comprhensive. Also we didn't feel pressurised which caused to walk away from other dealers.
