Worst service i have recieved from a new car ever. Brake failure on an electric car that took a day to return on warranty. Then the AA man forgot to take the key so jpmg said the car isnt with them till they have a key, got them the key on a Saturday and they say that doesn't count. Monday comes and i have to make more calls and they say they will take care of the rental car after 48 hours sataring monday. So i have to return the car the aa setup as they arent paying for it. Then told that they wont pay for any rental car while im having a warranty repair and i should do it, Told by the manager Gregg that "thats just the cost of motoring". so now no car no rental car and not allowed to collect my car till its fixed which "should be soon". Absolutely the least helpful service from them for a 2 year old car that was always regularly serviced by them. Will never use again if i dont have to.
Dealing with J&P was both simple and frustrating. Getting the order in, delivery, pick up, and the handover of the car were all smooth and processed quickly with the car delivered in a timely manner. However, with this being said, some information was lacking with regards to volvos contribution towards the charging point, being provided details of ePower only to find out after id paid and taken delivery of the charger, that the payment only counts when using their approved installer which is a different company. Subsequent attempts to rectify this resulted in being offered a courtesy gesture well below the value of the contribution of the €500 volvo contribution for a charging point.

It was my first time buying an EV. The Sales person spent a lot of time explaining the features, came on the first drive with me to make sure I was comfortable. Took my feedback in relation to the charger installer and had them follow up with me. Although getting an EV car was new and challenging, Volvo did a great job. Thank you

Having been a long term customer of J&P i have always been highly impressed by the customer service but in the last few visits that impression has changed and the common sense approach to helping out long term customers that was always at the fore when Paul O' Neil was in charge has been replaced by quite an abrupt by the book approach with little regard to long term customers and up front comments on costs rather than sorting problems which might be covered under warranty. I have spoken to John Keating about my concerns as i have not been happy on the last few visits.

Oct 09,2024After sales leaves a lot to be desired. Being held to ransom for an item not being repaired unless the costing is refunded from the brand company. My contract is with J&P not with the car manufacturer. No care for the massive inconvenience of having to constantly return with a error that is not of my making, an error that was apparent from the date of purchase, car was brand new. 1yr 5mths later the error still isn't repaired and no plan for where it will all end. Also really annoying that you never get to speak directly to the mechanic and ask them questions. All information is second hand via the reception staff. Will not purchase a car with my hard earned cash from this company ever again!
