I have never been so revolted by the poor treatment of an real estate agency than I have with life. 1 week ago, I made a booking to view a property today at 11:30am. I called at 10am this morning before making the travel to view and asked - "is it still available, I don't want to arrive and it's taken" I was assured it was available. I then spent 1 hour travelling to the viewing and was greeted by an agent who said the property was taken. He then said that another would be made available on the 5th of Dec. I said send me the video viewing and offer letter today so I can get on top of it. He confirmed he would send it in 30min. I called him 1 hour later - He said he was "typing the email as we spoke". By 15:30 still nothing. I called 3 numbers. Noone answered. I left a voicemail. In terms of TCF also known as treating customer fairly this is a huge breach of the consumer protection act of 2017. It is a horrific display of just how much greed and money is the pure focus and to hell with any individual person. I whole heartily encourage people to disassociate yourself with this company because they are hurting the common person.

The services it not good at all on on-going maintenance of the flat, the handling method by Life Residential consultant for consumable part of the flat doesn't make any sense.
The worst experience ever with estate agency .. avoid at all cost Once you paid signed the contract and paid 12 months rent, they ignore you. Particularly impossible and rude the guy called Ervis (Battersea power station branch). broken furniture we have to buy new furniture and was told that we have to keep there when we leave
Great support from Life Residential representatives (particularly Ashleigh Bates and Ilinca Ioanovici) on some of the maintenance issue we had in the flat. Fast, efficient and professional. There is also an automated tool provided to tenants by Life Residential to report any issues and move all the way to having an engineer or contractor attending and fixing the issue, which is very cool and nicely designed.
Had a great experience with Life Residential throughout the three years of my tenancy. Great service, always timely and on point - strongly recommended. Special thanks to Cristina Luntraru for all her help, she’s been fantastic! Marco

Everything was well, neatly and quickly
I don't normally leave negative reviews but I am compelled to do so by the terrible service I received as a landlord from the Canary Wharf branch. The frequent replacement of staff meant that key activities were missed (such as failing to inform me that my tenant decided to extend their contract) which caused me a lot of inconvenience. Whilst I can accept that human errors are part and parcel of business, what I found unethical was the fact that I have to check on everything I have been told on the financial side, or I would have been short-changed twice. In addition, four months after the tenant left, I still have not received my deposit in full - I have been offered the wrong amount instead of the full sum (surprise surprise) after at least FOUR emails chasing this up. So unless you want to engage an accountant and a solicitor to cross-check your communications with them, best give this lettings agent a wide berth.
Pathetic experience with Life Residential. They are horrible with End of Tenancy charges. Charging for what they either haven't provided or provided rusty, stained or broken.
The last tenants had left my flat in a very bad state and I needed to do quite a bit of refurbishment for the new tenants. Rosita managed this process very well, sending me quotes and getting the work done in a timely manner.
Thomas is our managing agent for our property and he is a godsend. He took over the management of our property at the time of the expiration of the lease some 18 months ago and the tenants had left the place with inventory missing, many areas of the flat damaged and dirty. Thomas, without fuss went about getting tradesmen in to make good the place, getting funds from the deposit bond to pay for the same. We were at peace knowing that Thomas was in control of the situation. A very positive start to our landlord/managing agent relationship with Thomas. Thomas is a good communicator setting out facts and explaining situations, and outlining the rights and obligations of both the tenant and the landlord with clarity and neutrality. I appreciate his approach of setting out the ways and reasons for those ways in resolving tenant's complaints or requests. He made decision making very easy through the clear explanations. He approaches each problem (such as complaint from the tenant) without bias or prejudice but with fairness and pragmatism. He attends to problems with efficiency and effectiveness. When consent is given for repairs to be done within days the repairs are attended to. There is no hesitation or delays in whatever Thomas agrees to do. We appreciate Thomas' care and attention in the management of our property and it gives us great pleasure in writing this review. We thank Thomas for his great work.
The overall experience was good for me. The agency responded to most of the issues in time, thanks to my proper manager Katie.
The student rental flat had repairs required and it took some months for these to be attended to. At the end of the contract despite a very very thorough clean involving an army of friends and family, the company insisted on taking money out of deposits held to pay for a totally unnecessary professional deep clean.
Having recently had some small maintenance issues in our flat which were brushed off a few times, Vaibhav really restored our faith in the Life Residential team. When we reported the issues, Viabhav was attentive, very quick to respond, and stopped at nothing to ensure our issues were fixed promptly and professionally. Viabhav even followed up after the maintenance issues were solved, which really showed his dedication and commitment to ensuring residents have a great experience.
I have not had a fantastic experience with Life Residential but recently, Claudio De Tommaso was appointed the managing agent for our apartment and he has been a breath of fresh air: helpful, responsive and proactive. Thank you Claudio.
