Aug 20,2022We are very impressed with this facility! It’s the best storage facility I’ve ever seen. We were able to drive into the loading bay, use their carts to wheel our belongings into the storage unit. It’s clean, well lighted, very easy to access storage units. The best thing about the place was Nicole! We are from the gulf coast. Nicole made us feel welcome, and helped us figure out how to best utilize the facility with the least cost to us. She went out of her way to help us. Moving is a very stressful adventure, and Nicole did her best to reduce some of that stress and we really appreciate her!

I find it a huge oversight that only one person be scheduled to service such a high traffic storage location. For the cost of storing in this facility, staffing should not be an issue.

Aug 14,2022Metal storage unit facilities are all pretty similar, so it's price and service that makes the difference. We needed 2 large storage units for all of our household belongings while we conducted a search for a new home, and Life Storage came through for us on both price and service. The good folks at the facility located at 2807 W Michigan Ave in Pensacola Florida made sure that we secured 2 side by side units in an area accessible to a tractor-trailer sized moving van, and we were delighted to learn that we would receive half off on our rental fees for the first 3 months. What more could you want? We are totally satisfied with our choice of Life Storage!

Aug 02,2022I am renting a fairly large, climate controlled, unit in Suffield CT. Not only has the price nearly doubled in 2 years, it is now very warm and muggy in our unit, which is in the MIDDLE of the building, not near the exits. So much so that there is mold now growing on the metal wall and beam structures near the unsealed concrete floor. Good thing most of my stuff is in plastic bins but my furniture is NOT. AVOID.

Aug 02,2022I made my online request on a Sunday morning a little after 11am. By 10 minutes after opening at 12noon, I received a call from Suzanne Clark of Life Storage. She was very polite and professional. Providing me with all the information needed, I made arrangements to rent the storage unit that day. Upon arrival, Suzanne was just as friendly, professional, and informative as she had been on the phone. The whole process took a little more than 20 minutes. I was even able to see my actual unit. Suzanne went so far as to go outside, in the rain, to make sure that my access code was working. I highly recommend Suzanne and Life Storage.

Aug 02,2022On July 1, 2022, I had a horrible experience in trying to terminate my agreement with life storage. The cost of the storage space kept increasing the individual agent told me if didn’t like it remove things out of the storage facility because I disputed the increase. The agent was very discourteous, disrespectful and lack sufficient customer service training she was very argumentative. I remove my possessions on July 31 and the August 1 came to terminate the agreement and was and treated with the same terrible customer service as before, I asked for the corporate office number to make a complaint and was told their was no number the corporate office and the call’s would be rerouted back to her. I asked for final statement and I was told I had to pay a fee of $6.00 all the while the agent was being very argumentative when I complained. I wrote the check for $6.00 but refused to sign a vacate statement unless she show me some reason why I had to in the agreement. I was told to leave and the agent threaten to call the police. The police was called because I refused to sign. So I signed under protest. To resolve the matter. I will never use or recommend this storage facility again. A customer has a right to dispute charges in a civil manner without having to treated in this manner.
