Jul 08,2021I ordered a bookcase from Lifestyle Furniture in early April and as there was an expected delay of 5 to 6 weeks, I was regularly kept appraised of progress by their customer service staff. Thereby managing my expectations. When the bookcase was despatched, again I was contacted by the customer service staff to ensure that I was aware and that I should contact them if there were any problems. One of their advisors (Farhan) displayed a particularly helpful and professional attitude and remained in contact with me until the bookcase was delivered.The bookcase is now well stocked with books and represents excellent value for money. I would certainly recommend Lifestyle Furniture for bibliophiles!

Jun 25,2021Beautiful furniture,stressful process! I chose to purchase from this company as the product was available immediately and just slightly cheaper than the other sites I was looking at (Oak Furniture Land, MADE etc). I paid for the item and was then contacted via email to say the product was out of stock and would be for another 5 weeks. I was offered a refund but decided to wait it out. However after 5 weeks no delivery notice ever came and so I contacted the company to find it would be delayed another 3 weeks. This happened a third time. All contact came from my end. Eventually my order was available and I was told it would be delivered on a certain Monday - this information arrived whilst I was on holiday. I called the company to say I was away and they said there was nothing they could do and it was down to the delivery company. I texted the delivery company saying I was away and heard nothing more. Eventually after arriving home, I was contacted again by the delivery company and my order was delivered safely. The whole process was very stressful and frustrating - that being said the furniture is beautiful, well made, came fully assembled and priced well. I probably would risk using this company again...

Jun 21,2021Design good and we like the wood. Alas, most of the black metal bars are chipped which spoils the appearance and makes the product sub-standard. Hence, we are disappointed in the quality.

The two items we ordered are both great looking, well made and excellent value for money. This turned out to be the case and I found the staff I spoke to very obliging on the phone their couriers are brilliant and although we are many miles away turned up exactly on time , would I use again yes I would .

Jul 22,2021Previously, I've had great service from this company. I ordered a double wardrobe on this most recent occasion. It was described as 'minimal assembly required'. The item arrived in one flat parcel, all the wooden components and screws ready to assemble. I photographed the package as it had arrived and wrote to them: Putting together this piece is impossible for one person. The word "minimal" is completely deceptive and should have been omitted...I do hope a goodwill gesture will be considered, so I am able to pay for construction of the unassembled furniture. They responded: The way our furniture goes out to the customer, it really is referred to as minimal assembly in the furniture industry. All you would need to do is screw the components together. When buying “flat-pack” furniture you would receive each piece as a separate component. "All you would need to do..." is condescending. No one can do this safely by themselves. I have never heard of this definition of 'minimal assembly' & 'flat pack'. The description should be correctly clarified so consumers are able to make a fully informed choice. I will not be affording Lifestyle Furniture the luxury of misleading me again and have since paid and additional charge for assistance to construct the wardrobe.
