Best thing I ever owned! One day I stubbed my toe and fell in my yard. Within seconds I had a call that a fall had been detected and the medic office had been informed of my fall, but if I wanted to cancel, just press the white button, which I did. I was not hurt, only being clumsy. It was nice to know somebody out there was "looking out for me." Gives me a real feeling of security.

GreatCall Emergency Alert is very reasonably priced, lightweight and easy to use and was easy to setup. I now feel safe going outside to walk around my yard or being in the shower so I can get help if I fall.
At 79, and not comfortable with technological devices, it was with trepidation that I decided to try setting up my mobile call gadget. "Knowing" I couldn't succeed without additional help, I followed the guide provided with it and quite unbelievably managed to activate this marvelous equipment. The patient man assigned to help, and who was working with me to set up and test the system, had a calm demeanor, which allowed me to believe I could actually do it without someone sitting right next to me. Wonderful PR gentleman who gave me confidence!

I utilized the call in center to set up the phone for my mother and the process was easy and the staff delightful to work with. I had the same positive experience when I had to cancel service when my mother died.
Great Call is always available, I use it when I have an emergency. The on line is easy to navigate.
Great products and service people are helpful and available. My only real problem is the Lively lanyard connection is plastic and breaks easily. Also, part of the problem is it is hard to put back on. I still can use it in my pocket or in the wrist band but the lanyard makes it more accessible.
I recently contacted customer service and had my problem taken care of immediately. The woman who took care of me was so helpful and pleasant and eager to see my issue resolved.
The phone and the service is just as advertised which is why I gave it a 5 star rating.

My neighbor has been rescued several times. Great
Cell phone is only used for emergencies. Called my self to see if it worked it did. Charging cradle was defective has never worked since phone was received. The other charger that came with phone works okay. The signal always says weak in my area however phone works. IMPOSSIBLE to keep phone turned on because of the VOLUME of ANNOYING CALLS which I do not answer. All in all 4 stars. I am not in the habit of endorsing products to anyone because every situation can be different. Chris Cummings USA Ret.
I have not had my phone very long. I got it just for safety purposes. It is now non-functioning! Thinking about going back to Consumer Cellular!

I originally purchased my first Great Call phone for my father, but he's passed on, so I not only kept the service, I upgraded to a Smart Phone. Dealing with the operator/customer service was very easy, and staff was extremely polite and patient. I have no problems making calls from any location, and feel quite reassured by the 5Star feature.
good phone and great calling plans
After suddenly losing my entire left field of vision due to a stroke last January, I needed a phone I could see and feel (the buttons). The Jitterbug Flip Phone by GreatCall met that need immediately with a plan that fit my needs at a great price. Better than that, we've had 5 different cell service providers since buying our current semi-rural home and could not use our cell phones inside our hurricane hardened house. We had to go out in our front acre to get a signal. We found that the cell service arc for our area cut right through our property. However, GreatCall / Jitterbug works just fine indoors or out! Amazing! The phone features are easy to use. I ordered one for my elderly mother-in-law and one for the developmentally disabled neighbor that I assist with finances and bill paying. All of us, including me getting used to profound vision loss, learned to use all the features quickly and easily. My neighbor especially loves the "personal assistant" operator who has assisted with transportation and a few other things. I will be putting that to use soon, too.
