DO NUT TRUST THIS COMPANY. MY IN LAWS HAVE BEEN MESSED AROUND BY THIS COMPANY AND AFTER MONTHS THEY HAVE PROMISED TO COME BACK AND FIX THE ISSUE MORE THAN 5 TIMES AND NEVER TURNED UP. THE WINDOWS HAVE BEEN FITTED WITHOUT METAL RODS ON LOAD BEARING WALL AND ALSO THEY PAID FOR SAFETY GLASS WHICH IS NOT WHAT WAS FITTED. SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I DIDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO SUFFER AT THE HANDS OF THIS COMPANY. THEY ALSO COMPLAINED ABOUT MY REVIEW SUPPOSE TRUTH HURTS.
Totally useless!! Avoid at all costs. My mother in law asked these clowns to fit 4 windows. The sales person came out and measured every single window incorrectly and had the audacity to charge £100 for the privilege. The fitters arrived, fitted one window (badly) and then left. I have since been promised a refund of the deposit and the survey fee. It's now been two months. Next port if call. The courts. I've had it with these people. Totally deplorable behaviour. I gave a one star, simply because I can't mark a zero.
I'm doing my best to be fair, so I'll start with the positives; the salesman was a nice guy with no pressure tactics, and the two windows I ordered are now installed. Unfortunately the rest of the experience was a shambles. Firstly, you can't get a window installed for £299 as promised. There is a compulsory £100 survey fee; no avoiding it, even if you live in a bog-standard 1970's redbrick house like mine. This is blatant false advertising and I can't believe they have gotten away with this. So my standard white, one-opener, windows cost me £349 each. Secondly, the organisation. The sales rep missed the initial appointment, the office did not return my phone calls, the admin people lost my contract causing significant delays, the surveyor didn't make his appointment, and the fitters cancelled literally last minute. And finally to cap it all off, having not contacted me for months, since the fitters finished the job at midday I was phoned 3 TIMES during the rest of the day (the latest at 9pm!!) to chase final payment. Absolutely shocking. Lastly; the product and value for money. Well the £100 survey consisted of a guy spending literally ten minutes measuring the frame and leaning outside to measure the windowsill. That's it. His wife was waiting in the car, so I expect this is standard. The windows themselves look okay, they are not finished to a high standard but seem reasonably sound. The fitting was below average. The internal mouldings have not been mitred properly and several gaps have been covered up with sealant. They were nice guys, but not enough attention to detail. Clearly I can't recommend this company. I don't think they are dodgy, but they do have incompetent and unprofessional staff, and systems that clearly can't cope. My two straightforward windows took over three months from order to install, with numerous cancellations and no communication. The amount of money I saved, which wasn't much, was easily cancelled out by the time spent and hassle endured. My order of two windows was to test them out before ordering for the rest of the house, needless to say I will be paying a bit more for a reliable local firm to do the job.

I actually feel like I should be leaving 3 reviews... one with 5 stars for the installation team, 1 with 3 stars for the sale and one with 0 stars for the customer service team. I'll start with my review of the sales guy. He came when he said and didn't do any hard sell, explained what the offer was and went. He came back when I wanted to place the order and went through everything. I am only giving him 3 stars because he verbally told me that fitting would be 6-8 weeks then wrote 8-10 weeks on the contract. He also told me that once the windows were fitted I would have a couple of days to make sure I'm happy then he would return to take the payment and resolve any issues I may have...this wasn't true as I had to pay the installation team, which isn't a problem but I do expect people to tell me the truth. Other than that smooth and seamless experience. Now the installation team. They turned up and were very professional, did a great job fitting the windows in just over 2 1/2 hours for 3 windows and cleaned up after themselves and even hoovered. Couldn't fault them atall and the job they have done is great. Thanks guys! HOWEVER, would I recommend Love Windows to anyone else....NO I wouldn't. This is purely down to my experience with customer service. I would rather pay double than deal with them again. Firstly I rang up at around 8 weeks to check progress. The Leeds office were very rude and told me I couldn't have a date because lead time is 8-12 weeks. I told them what my contract said but they weren't interested and basically told me to go away and stop mithering (ok not in so many words but that's basically what they meant). I then tried to ring again a few weeks later and no one would answer. I rang the 0800 number and left numerous messages but of course no one rang me back. I then rang at 12 weeks and someone finally picked up. They told me that they would fit the windows the following week. I asked what time they would be here and he said he would be here for 10.30 am. Great! The day of the installation no one had turned up by 12 noon so I called as I had had someone sat in all morning for me waiting. Adam answered the phone and just said yes they are on their way they had another job first. I then asked why no one had rang me to tell me that they would be later. I explained that I wasn't bothered what time they came but I had asked someone to to sit in for me. He started to argue with me telling me thay they don't have to tell me what time they are arriving and started to quote the contract to me and that it says time on site 1 day and therefore I should be sitting in all day anyway. I then told him to stop arguing with me that I was the customer and I just thought that out of courtesy someone would ring me to tell me the time had changed. He then told me that he was cancelling my window installation so I told him that if he does that then he can give me a refund and he said no you're not having a refund or your windows and hung up on me. Never have I spoken to such a rude, obnoxious person in my life. I rang straight back and spoke to Cameron who was helpful and told me that my installers would be here between 2.30pm and 4pm and the installation hadn't been cancelled, which I was quite happy with, I have a 3 month old baby so being sat in the house all day is not ideal so just an idea of the ETA is all I wanted. Why Adam couldn't have given me this info is beyond me. Anyway Adam, seeing as you like quoting the contract here's one for you...my contract clearly says...and I quote "once we have done the survey and the order has been processed by the manufacturing department we will contact you to confirm an exact installation date" needless to say this never happened. Also, the fact that my contact says duration on site - 1 day, doesn't mean that I should be sat in waiting all day. It means they will be here for one day and when I'm told they'll be here at 10.30am then that's obviously what I expect. My contract also says that all the windows would be opening on the left hand side yet one of the windows has the opening on the right hand side. I won't be requesting this to be changed after the hassle I've had with customer services but just thought I'd let you know that after all that the order is wrong!
Not even worth 1 star rating!! AVOID!! They are complete let downs. Installed windows that don’t join together properly and fitted a broken window handle. They keep cancelling dates when they say they will come and rectify the problems. I’ve lost count of how many times they have cancelled and no shows! Please don’t waste your hard earned money on the cheaply made windows!!! My mother paid before the windows were put in!!!!
Still waiting for them To finish the job. Brought the wrong windows and door. Glass cracked and waiting to be replaced, rescheduled installation dates, failure to turn up on agreed dates. I ordered in August and it's now 1 week before xmas. I also found excess amount of filler that has been left untidy and gaps in the end of the sills. So far I'm not happy and won't be u til the job has been completed properly.
I have at last received my windows and doors, it was well worth the long wait. They are excellent in every way. Thanks to the two Pauls and Jim who fitted four windows and two doors in four hours in inclement weather. Well done boys. I wouldn't hesitate to order more in the future.
They are not german windows at all, they will say anything to get a sale. Not even convinced they are triple glazed. We got let down twice on fitting days nearly 3 times. I now wish they had never bothered. Fitter struggled for 7 hours to fit 2 windows saying half the tools where missing out the van was cutting the plastic sills with a hand saw. Rough untidy job in general. Wrong glass was fitted 1 was meant to be frosted we got clear, the other isnt safety glass as it needs to be by law, was told on phone it is safety glass but there is no mark on it so it clearly isnt, they said they would change the glass still no replacement glass from love windows 3 months later. If your considering using love windows dont bother your better off paying a little more elsewhere. They should at least make the lies and excuses believable.

Quick response and refund returned when asked. i never actually went through with our windows due to personal reasons but when I called to follow up my email I sent requesting a refund they asked me to email again as I’d contacted them with my details not my husbands that was on the contract so they could t locate it. They asked for my bank details then two days later they called to let me know the refund was going in and they checked my account details whilst on the phone and immediately did the refund. Sales guy that originally came round wasn’t pushy or tried to get the sale, which was refreshing.

Do not go near this company they are total liars they never turn up charge for toughened glass fit normal glass and don't put supports in load bearing bay Windows as for Cameron the boss he doesn't know the meaning of honesty this company is a complete rip off had to get trading standards in and now taking legal action talked to john Dee installation manager itguarantees Windows would be put right on the 21 December let's wait and see guess I was right never turned up fed up off all the lies I will stick to doing it with the courts and I would like to say thank you john you let us down as well I will be be putting a full review on when I get home explaining all the problems and lies I have had off this company see you in court I also think that the good reviews on here are people that don't exist or haven't had work by love Windows it's funny how bad review gets put on and all of a sudden a load of good reviews go on and they most likely have not had Windows fitted by love Windows use your own judgement
2nd time of using and what a difference. Excellent communications and turned up on the day they said.The windows are unbeatable and great value.
Do NOT use them, shoddy work & inspection of work been arranged 4 times & also a no-show! Still awaiting a inspector, been lied to on numerous occasions, always someone sick or in holiday.....wish I’d used one of the known companies to fit my windows!
HATE WINDOWS not LOVE windows !! I have been helping a work collegue try to get his deposit back after himself getting nowhere with this company ! They do not have a phone number themselves they just use an answer phone company who takes the calls and promises that someone will "call back"" this doesn not happen - not even one call back - i have called repeatedley to no avail - even trying late evening with the same answer ! A promise weeks ago that deposit would be refunded has not happened - where do you go from here ??? avoid this company at all costs ..........emails also go unanswered - if you are reading this LOVE windows please contact immediately !!!
DON’T USE LOVE WINDOWS The company is run by fraudsters do not use them they need to be investigated by Ombudsman I waited and waited for my windows over three months when they finally arranged the date to fit they never turned up, I asked for my deposit back I was told I would get a full refund. But still nothing I ring all the time and they do not ring back I email and they don’t respond. How can they get away with treating people like this, it’s a disgrace all the negative reviews for this company has been my experience also DON’T USE LOVE WINDOWS
They are a disgrace. One promise after another to phone back and these never materialise. I am going to demand my deposit be returned.
