May 19,2016I would not recommend Macks when selling a property, it took twelve days after the sale was agreed, and a phone call from myself before documents were sent out for me to complete and on the day that I handed over the keys to the property ( am ) I had to call Macks at 15.10 to find out what was happening with my substantial amount of money, at which time I was informed that accounts were checking the figures and I would be contacted when the money was in the system, which I assumed would be the same day as it would be a 15 minute job, at most, to check the figures. I received no further communication that day and was left with an agonising overnight wait to find out what was happening to my money. The real problem here was the lack of information that was forthcoming, in this electronic age money is transferred by the click of a mouse, but can also be lost in cyber space the same way, if I had received a quick phone call to say that everything was fine but that the transaction wouldn't be completed until the following day I would have been ok, but that did not happen. The staff at Macks are pleasant enough and Nick Mack is a nice man and Kerry at Redcar offers a great will writing service but, for a house move, not for me in future.
