Aug 11,2015We were invited to review our existing wills with Macks Solicitors who had taken as holders from our previous solicicitor. Lynda Monks who attended to our case is a first class solicitor who carried out the review mainly taking account the budget changes to inheritance taxes. We decided that it would be preferable to renew our wills as the changes will now allow simpler administration of our affairs. Throughout the dealings Mrs Monks dealt with us in a freiendly but professional manner in guiding us through the options available and checking that we properly all aspects of them The whole business was concluded within a week. We would have no problems in using or recommending Macks for any such business

Aug 05,2015From start to finish Anthony and his secretary were very helpful and professional. I was constantly kept up to date and they always sent me an email or letter so I had a copy of all correspondence. I felt comfortable asking any question or emailing for an update. At first I didn't even know what to do or who to speak to, I had heard macks had a good reputation so I phoned and from the first conversation I felt they were honest and I trusted them. Nothing was too much trouble and I wasn't troubled for any thing, they dealt with every thing for me from start to finish all I had to do was go for my medical. If you are looking for a solicitor I would highly recommend macks I am very happy with the outcome and it was all done in less than 6 months.

Oct 13,2015I cannot praise Anthony McCarthy at Macks Solicitors highly enough for the work he did. By his own acknowledgement, mine was a difficult and at the same time, interesting case, in which it was not easy for Mr McCarthy or Counsel to judge the correct balance between my needs as a claimant with those of the wider community. My feeling was that Mr McCarthy fully understood that balance but was at the same time, one hundred percent committed to my cause. Mr McCarthy seemed to be very quiet, so I did wonder sometimes if he was going to ‘angry’ enough on my behalf. But the longer I went on dealing with him I knew I was in the hands of someone who knew what he was doing and was determined to see that justice be done. Other solicitors would not have taken the same view, witness someone else who had suffered permanent injury where I suffered mine being told by a lawyer that she would not win her case. I feel sad and angry for her but very grateful that my solicitor from the start saw the merits of my case and that justice needed to be pursued, even if we failed. To sum up. I am a relived and grateful client of Macks.
