Our early experience was somewhat interrupted with the initial lockdown in March 2020, disrupting any normal service and loss of original purchaser. However, all paperwork and legal documentation having been prepared meant that once a new buyer was found the process towards completion was clear and both Hannah and Lucy at Medway Law kept me informed leading to a quick and smooth sale.

Oct 29,2020Things got off to a bad start as there was some confusion as to who my solicitor was: I received phone calls from so many different people and was already in a stressful state from having to auction my flat. I was unable to access the welcome app. as I don't have a smartphone so probably missed some important info. The process went quite well considering the difficult times we are all going through, but the 'Track my Case' facility only told me things I already knew. What I needed to know was what was happening now and how long it was likely to take. A lot of the terms were meaningless to me such as: e-chits set up on Quill(?). I had asked for a warning when things were nearing completion - since staffing levels were down implying we might not stay on schedule - but six days' notice was all I had to pack, arrange removals, look for a place to rent etc. etc. The paralegal assistant was very helpful and approachable -as is often the case!
