Feb 26,2021A very good professional service. I was informed of developments every step of the way and given guidance around the technical aspects of selling a property that a layman would not know. There was always one-to-one telephone guidance as and when needed to keep the whole process running smoothly without delays. Highly recommended.

Feb 24,2021I struggle to recommend this firm to anyone, mainly due to very sloppy communication all through the process. After an initially promising phone call when the caller identified themself as being in charge of my case and with me "every step of the way" I didn't hear from then again for literally months. It was left to their "team" ( seemingly of one person ) to do all the work and this became a permanent round of emails or phone calls not being answered for up to 3 days at a time. In between, the wrong documents were sent, and it felt at times like I was leading the process, not ML When the process finally concluded, the opportunity was taken to comment on these issues The excuse given was - inevitably- Covid and people working from home. I and my team have worked from home for 11 months, emails and phone calls are still answered promptly, Covid is not a catch-all excuse. In summary, no personal touch whatsoever, it felt like being processed through a factory. Overall very poor. I note that all positive reviews of ML on here get gushing reviews.... negative ones get no response. Very convenient

The fact the majority of the information is processed online through the mobile app shows that solicitors can work in the same way everyone else does in 21st century (not having to do everything in print and by post!) Feb 06,2021Communication was a problem since the only way of contact was via email and then wait for a call back. I know we are in a covid world, but i found the process slower than i expected. I was promised a 56 day turnaround with a 44 day average, but i counted 71 days to completion. Everyone always polite on the phone, but i would advise staying local for solicitors.

Feb 05,2021Having bought and sold a few houses in my life I can say that this was the least painful process, and that Medway Law's role undoubtedly contributed. They were true to their word, there were no hidden costs or unpleasant surprises, they were clear in their explanations of what to expect at each stage and good at keeping me posted. While there were occasinal minor lapses in reponse times to queries, I think this is inevitable in the process with busy teams juggling a significant workload, and again they were far shorter and fewer than with previous conveyancing teams I have employed. Thank-you.
