Aug 18,2022Spence and his team (N Lincs) were great from beginning to end. We are rural and had a need for a full tank replacement and drain system to be installed. Prior to this several tests were done to establish the best option. I come from a no nonsense background and was highly impressed with everything and everyone. Great job by a great team. Aug 18,2022Metro Rod saved our holiday cottage from flooding with sewage during high rain when a pump to our septic tank broke. They were very thorough, very prompt and sorted the problem efficiently. We are also pleased with the work they have done on our septic tank at home, it had been blocked for sometime and a previous company never solve the problem and cost us a lot of money in having attempted. Metro Rod have solved the problem and our septic tank is now much more efficient and a lot cheaper to run. I right there efficient service. It’s not cheap but at least you know they will get the job done well.

Aug 17,2022Contact with Metro Rod was entirely by email. I told the person I wanted a ‘home buyers drainage survey’ of the septic tank system at a property my wife and I purchased (this was what our surveyor and solicitor advised us to have carried out). Metro Rod told me the price but also insisted the tank needed to be emptied even though the owner had it emptied 2 weeks prior. The cost of this was much more than the survey itself, even though the tank was as good as empty. I reluctantly agreed. When I got the report emailed to me it advised that they were unable to check the soak away as the tank had been emptied by the the owner 2 weeks before! I was still charged the full price of having the tank emptied. I then queried why there was no mention of a CCTV inspection in the report. I was advised that a ‘home buyers survey’ does not include a CCTV inspection and that I should have requested a ‘pre purchase survey’. How am I supposed to know the difference between the two as a customer? Metro Rod advised me I would have to pay much more than I had already paid to have the inspection done again including CCTV even though most of the inspection (minus CCTV) had already been done. If I had agreed to this the whole thing would have cost in excess of £500.

So Rang Again To See What My Options Were They Sent Bryan Straight Out He Was Very Friendly & Customer Service Was On Point Didn’t Bother Me Atall While He Was Here Llwys Came Half Way Through The Job To Fill The Water Tank Up Yet Again Another Lovely Boy Who Knew Exactly What He Was Doing Keep Up The Good Work :)

Aug 08,2022Spent about £3.5k last September supposedly addressing problems with our drains which they identified and explained had been the cause of blockages. Same issue has arisen again this summer causing additional pain and clearly they didn’t fix it. We had concerns about using them due to issues outlined below in other reviews but we went with them because their survey reports were unintelligible to anybody else - I wonder if this is a deliberate ploy to force you to use them for the works. I’ll reach out to them again and will update review.

Jul 15,2022Be very careful when trading with this company. They write their own rules when it comes to charging / invoicing you. Ensure you log the time they are working at your house!
