Aug 19,2024Bill Symes, my English tutor from October 2023 to May 2024, has been brilliant. I understand that going into online tutoring can be intimidating, and I was apprehensive at first. However, Bill was nothing short of excellent. He understands how you learn, and which study methods and techniques can be most effective. I went from a low B at English Literature A-Level (260) to a very good A* (338). Bill did more for me in these months than I expected, and I am so grateful to MyTutor and Bill for this! I’m Oxford-bound now. And MyTutor is why!!

Aug 14,2024The tutor we have for my 17 year old son is fantastic and works so well with him. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that if the payment details change on the account the booked lesson has to be cancelled and a new one set up.

Aug 06,2024This is the second time I’ve used My Tutor and would definitely recommend them. It helped my daughter achieve her potential in her GCSEs and this time hopefully for one-off her A levels. The little report you receive at the end of each lesson is useful as it keeps you updated on their progress. I also like the fact that you can message the tutors directly. Payment and booking is straight forward!

Aug 05,20241. Make videos downloadable. Streaming the recordings is messy, especially during seeking using the time bar. 2. Lessons only 55 minutes, with 5 minutes preperation time, the preperation time should not be part of the paid hour lesson, especially when no preperation is required. 3. Had problems giving my son access to his own lessons which took 3 calls and 3 weeks to sort out so he could access from his own account.

I like the way regular reminders are sent, I can easily reschedule the lessons if needs be and lessons can be played back. An excellent tutor supported by a really good service.
