Jan 12,2021I'm not much for writing reviews. But I'm compelled and proud to share my experience with Justin. Justin came recommended from another very good friend of mine. Justin was instrumental and efficient at every touchpoint. He was always available via text, phone, or email. I tried my hardest not to bother him on the weekends or late at night but when our contract was getting closer to closing--there were times that I just needed a quick answer or guidance. Justin was always there and always super quick to provide clarity, answers, or guidance. He is truly a caring person who has so much knowledge. As we were closing, there was some last minute emails between my realtor, Justin, and the title company. By no fault of Justin, the title company needed final approval of our mortgage. Justin and his team were incredibly fast and super responsive. I felt proud and relieved to have such a team on my side representing such an important purchase in our lives. Having the right mortgage person involved in your home purchase journey is such an important, critical component of the process. Justin was nothing short of a Godsend. He truly was. Anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable mortgage lender...do not skip over Justin. He is amazing...absolutely amazing. Thank you so very much Justin. My wife and I will forever be in your debt.

Jan 08,2021Michael G. and his team at Nationwide were very helpful and always available to answer questions and reassure us. We had to sell our old home in order to purchase our new one. The new buyers were holding up the sale, which backed up our paperwork for our new purchase. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Michael understood our concerns and listened to our ranting with upmost professionalism. I highly recommend Nationwide Mortgage Bankers!!

Jan 08,2021Matt is the best mortgage professional I have ever encountered. From beginning to end even during the pandemic, he was able to get me prequalified with a letter of commitment in two weeks and was ready to close in exactly 38 days which in the pandemic standard to me, is absolutely phenomenal. I was able to have constant communication with him at all hours of the day as well as weekends which is a rarity. From the various mortgage brokers I was shopping around for, this experience has been the easiest, most fair and affordable (in terms of closing costs and fees), quickest turn around time, no games and very transparent. If you want to experience that feeling of being “treated as family” Matt is the guy you want to speak to. I am not going to ever go anywhere else for my mortgage needs and will be recommending all my friends and family. 5 stars is underrated for the service I have received. Can’t thank Matt enough for everything he’s done for my family.

Jan 08,2021The process started off great - I had a loan officer I used many times in the past but NWMB was able to get me a lower rate which was great! That's where the good stopped. I was quoted 30 days to close a refinance mortgage and it took 92 days!!! First the appraisal took 3 weeks --- not their fault so ok I will be patient. Then there was an issue with the paperwork on their end which pushed us back. Then we finally get a cleared and scheduled to close in mid-Dec... The closing costs were constantly changing on every disclosure... at closing the CD did not match the CD from 3 days prior! Plus, if I had of realized there are other companies with less fees, I would have shopped around for other companies because I paid well over $6k in closings for a refinance. To their credit they gave a $500 lender credit but it didn't make up for the difference in costs from the original CD I received. Then... icing on the cake after all that.... it took over a week for the loan to actually fund! I have bought multiple homes and refinanced homes utilizing our VA benefits and NEVER had such a bad experience. I wish I had shopped around to other lenders for closing cost... this company had great reviews so maybe my experience was a one off due to the holidays, regardless I still feel it is unacceptable.

Nationwide uses the most advance customer facing technology to perform each task digitally. We love it. Jan 15,2021I was very impressed with Michael Miller’s service. He kept me in the loop on everything during the entire process. The only hiccup, which was out of his control, was my prior mortgage originators taking a long time to comply with the CEMA request. But again, Michael had no control over that and did his best to answer all my questions and frustrations. Since then I have recommended Michael to a number of friends and relatives, who from what I hear, are currently working with him on their loans. Overall Michael did an excellent job and I will absolutely work with him in the future.
