Sep 22,2020I saw a general ad for refi mortgages online. Although I very seldom fill out forms on the internet I was wanting information on lowering my mortgage interest rate from another bank. Within a couple of minutes I got a call back from a knowledgeable and professional young man. He has my trust but he had to earn it. This entire refi process has been easy because Paul was on top of everything, told me to call him at any time, even on weekends and when an occasional issue arose it was immediately dealt with. He explained everything in detail to make sure I understood every step in the process. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this bank and the process and personal service.

Sep 22,2020We worked with Robert and Zach to get our home refinanced. NMB was recommended to me by a family friend and I would pass along the recommendation to my own family and friends. Robert was very attentive and always available to answer questions or to assist us. When speaking with Robert and Zach they were very clear and understanding the goals of refinance. We were happy to be able to do nearly the entire process distanced/remotely with the obvious exceptions of appraisal and closing with a notary. The web interface they use to upload documents is fairly intuitive and we didn’t really have any problems with it. Overall a painless process that allowed us cash out some equity and lower our monthly payment.

Sep 22,2020We were told from the beginning closing costs would be next to nothing and then the day before closing we were told we needed to bring 4500$ to closing. Also the closing date was pushed out due to that. The entire process was unenjoyable and extremely stressful due to a lack of communication and information. You get a 2 simply because your company was the only one to approve us for a home loan.

If somebody could advice me or give me information about NMB service. There are bad and good reviews here so I am still in doubt if NMB is good or not and do not know what is their catch. Sep 18,2020I applied and they were quick to respond. They ran my credit and it was good to go forward for my cash out refinance. After that I could not get a hold of the loan specialist. After several calls to the toll free number they got a branch manager. He said he would do it himself. He committed to calling me back the next day. Just like the loan specialist, he fell off the Earth. His never picks up the phone and his voicemail is always full just like the loan specialist. Again I call the toll free number and they give me the number to someone else that, guess, she doesn't pick up the call and her voicemail is full. They run a very shady operation. Don't trust the other feedback. They may be fake. They are terrible before doing business. Imagine how they will be after signing.

She worked closely with Luke Schuster, my loan officer who was also great. NMB should be thankful to have such a great team. I have recommended Luke, Toni and NMB to all of my friends and family.

Sep 10,2020Steve Valente from this company was excellent. He was easy to reach at any times notice. He was attentive and actually cared about our first home buying experience. Everyone should be as lucky as we were to deal with Steve. I give Steve 5 stars!! I found that when we got to the processing part of the loan, it became a little difficult and annoying as they used a processor located in California and we are in New York; it was difficult to communicate with them as freely as needed especially with that part of the process needing so much repetitive paperwork. We no longer deal with NMB now as they have sold our loan before our first payment.
