Got it for Christmas and it's already installed in my car, it's great addition to my Lexus ES 2016. In my Lexus ES 2016 I don't have navigation and there is no way to get one installed at the dealer. With CarPlay it feels like original just like in the newer cars that I have seen. You control the CarPlay experience using the iDrive joystick in the center consul similar to what is in my friends Mercedes. Most important part of this whole thing is that I was able to install it by following their step-by-step video and the product is made in USA. Having my CarPlay in my Lexus ES is truly a Christmas miracle.
Placed an order with NavTool for a 3.0 HDMI interface and they shipped me the wrong product. Had to fill out a RMA on their website for a return. Spoke to someone on the phone and complained about having to pay shipping cost and he said they would probably credit my account which they never did. Call again after not receiving my RMA five days later and was told I would get it that night. The next day I sent another email complaining about RMA and would dispute charge with credit card. No reply. The guy you see in all the installation videos is the one that always answers the phone. This place is a scam when it comes to returns. 12/19/20@3:50pm Its funny that after the negative review I would get a reply. Now they telling me I have to email their legal dept because my account is locked, The owner posted my personal info below for several days and then deleted info. He has sent me several text but nothing on how to return the product for exchange. 12/20/20@11:50am. Their customer service department has sent me several texts and emails for instructions to send product back. Since my information was displayed I have been receiving several prank Robo phone calls. 12/29/20 NavTool tried to have my review flagged. They removed my personal information and replaced the reply with----not a customer. They have received the returned interface and I am still waiting for an email or phone call. 1/07/20 NavTool now has my account locked. They claim I have to contact their legal dept which hasn't responded. Spoke to the guy who does the videos and he claims he is not the owner and can not give me any info. They basically said I had to remove this review in order to refund my account. As you can see above next to the star rating, my review has been VERIFIED by Trust Pilot. After several weeks I finally got a credit thru my Bank/Visa.

Does not work horrible Products, out of the box does not work Update: All I had to do is apparently plug in the power harness and everything started working as expected, the product is amazing just if you’re reading this review my recommendation to you is take your time don’t rush and watch their follow along videos as they are great. So good luck to everyone who’s going to purchase one and install it support is great and everything works as expected do not rush this and you will be happy with the results I actually have one of the plugs fall under the seat during installation and for that reason I was missing the flag and nothing was working as soon as I can that’s great boom I have CarPlay in my car
Navtool Apple CarPlay for Acura works great. Fast shipping and I received mine but I made a mistake by ordering a wrong year, they send me a prepaid label and the new product with it and I was just needed to sell the other one back. Even though the mistake was on me 100% in the process of exchange was super seamless and extremely fast
All products work as advertised without any issues, installed it over a month ago and so far zero complaints. I’m able to get both Apple CarPlay and android in my car and I use HDMI mirroring for Apple TV
This is my 3rd navtool. Don’t waste your money with cheaper options , navtool works as advertised. If you follow their advice it will work early expected right out of the box. Prior to purchasing navtool I have attempted to install 2 other products and none worked out whatsoever navtool worked right out of the box, highly recommended product
Look at the BBB of NY. ALL these people couldn't make all that stuff up. My filing will be there too as to my negative experience with this company. Navtool just put my information on the internet for all to see. no problem. Even got a phone call at 10 19pm from a person with a NY number stating he was coming over my house. NO problem. Now I am getting harassing phone calls for my post. Wonder who it is. refund me my money if you claim to be reputable. The person who called me at 10:19pm, his number is 347-7xx-xxxx. told me he was coming over my house. Real professional of you. just got the email that you edited your review again. Already have pictures of it and have called Trustpilot. Will be using this very useful information. thank you. People please don't be fooled by fake ratings. Look at the BBB website. The company says they are A rated but its not true. Why does the company have to lie about their ratings. The BBB is an honest organization unlike this company. Got contacted by their legal dept and obviously went nowhere. Contacted my attorney. Setting up to sit with the District Attorneys office in Massachusetts to bring fraud charges against the company. Hope your "legal dept" that called me is good. Once criminal charges are filed, sure they will want to settle then. My attorney asked me if anyone else who has had issues with them please send me your contact info along with any paperwork (attached) so that we can make this right for everyone. Really hate that it has come to this. Really? The website is yours with a page on your site. again you put out fake information. Product was purchased and never properly worked. Sent it back multiple times only to have the same nonworking unit come back. They refused a refund and then refused help after I contacted my CC company to receive a refund that way. Do a little digging about this company before you buy, I wish I did, lots of bad experiences and reviews all over the Internet. Edit 12/29 For some reason Navtool decided to delete their previous comment and has now changed their story to me purchasing the product from a site that was not theirs over a year later. In reality if the product worked and they were helpful we wouldn’t be in this mess, but instead two years after purchase I still have a non working product and they constantly change their story. I will post documentation (receipts and email and text conversations) from my purchase from their NY based company when I get home from work. Again I wouldn’t recommend purchasing. UPDATE 1/19 Just found this great website, lets you know when they shipped out product and where they manufacture it. Made in America huh…. If you look up the company ImportYeti they give all the information about them. I’d post a link but Trustpilot doesn’t allow it. I’d also let this go but the owner was so rude and lied so much to my credit card company and others. Wondering if a suit can be filed.
After talking to their support team and after they assured me it would work without any issue, I bought a Navtool for a 2006 Range Rover L322 in France. The purchase was made in June but due to the covid pandemic I have not been able to take care of this before last week. I found out the hard way at that time that Navtool expects you to have a navigation system installed on your car ( which is an option in Europe) which is nowhere mentioned on their site. I've send an email which has not been replied to. I then moved to thier chat system and the solution taht was offered was to add a navigation system to the car and then install their box. So I need to spend over a 1000$ to be able to install the tool. That was neither an option. After being ignored for a week I called them and their reply is the following: You have 14 days after purchase to return the goods. Your purchase is older so forget about it. Plus you might have changed cars between your purchase and the one you want to install it on now ( not the case but they were closed to call me a liar). After some back and forth they told me to send it back but they would only accept UPS ( while they ship via Fedex) to be sure the custom taxes are paid another time on a good that was send 5 month ago... They even went as far as explaining that they won't reimburse anyone via CC ( which is the payment method used so the law says you have to reimburse the same way) but only via check... They made their best effort to make sure that you can't be reimbursed nor send the good back. Anyway, they didn't came up with any solution and I'm stuck with a tool that can NOT be installed on my car.
My first shipment were lost, and i'm still waiting (since 4 month) to receive anything. The chat is a joke, responses happens up to 5 days after the question and often to ask "what is your order number ?". Really poor customer care. Edit (in response to comment): No, the package never leaved the US (i've got a tracking), you try to block negative comments and once they are published you fake a justification, you're poor liers. You wan't us to remove negative comments ? Just do your job. Edit 2: @Navtool All investigations has been made by Fedex EU and no parcel were found (i've mails attesting of that) they are awaiting you... BTW thanks for making my personal data public, it's really smart from you... Edit 3 (29/12/2020): @Navtool if you put as much effort in your work as in your attempt to have my review removed, you would be a serious business. You try to flag the reviews while everyone is in holidays, you're really such losers...
On July 30, I bought a Carplay module for my car from this company. On this day, the company promised a 25 percent discount for any order over $ 500, but now a month and a half has passed and the company only promises and no money. I had to contact my bank and he has now contacted the bank through which the payment was made in order to either collect a discount or provide a full refund of the goods. It may be fine American equipment, but the customer service is definitely not American. in addition to the above: it is a pity that the answer from Navtool is not true, and there is no answer to the question - why was it necessary to lie for two months that “our accountant is working on this and the money will soon be paid”. Nevertheless, with the help of my bank, I got my discount. Now we have another problem - Navtool shipped the WRONG EQUIPMENT to me. My car has two levels of equipment and I specifically specified in the technical support of Navtool that I needed a version for a small screen, to which I received confirmation that the version I needed would be sold to me. Otherwise I would be able to buy equipment from GROM audio - a company that sells real American equipment with real American support. In the meantime, I'm waiting for a response from Navtool, which for some reason stopped responding to my email. Update: OK the only answer I got from Navtool is: "you yourself chose the menu item on the site and in general you want communism everywhere" so the company is not going to do anything to fix its mistake. I read reviews in which it was written that the company is very strange in the field of dealing with customers and my experience confirms this. To date, I have filed a complaint with the New York Department of Commerce and the Attorney's Office. I will keep you updated. Perhaps this experience will be useful to someone to think again whether it is worth buying something from Navtool. Update 2: to a request from the New York attorney's office, Navtool replied "We have looked over a complaint but that has nothing to do with us." My lawyer suggests that Navtool has this form of fraud - if they don't have equipment for your car, they still send something. And then either they do not accept it back without confirming the RMA, or they earn 25% on the return. The New York attorney's office recommended trying to install the equipment that Navtool had sent and demanding damages in court (I think this will be $ 5,000 plus lawyer fees). Probably I will. Update 3: we finished working with the prosecutor's office and will get their support in court (to all requests Navtool answered something like “we don't know anything and we don't give a damn about the court”, the prosecutor is now angry as hell). I will have to change the equipment of the car to install their device, it costs, together with equipment, work and certification, about $ 2,000, which can be easily obtained from Dima and Vitalik through the "small court". The amount is small, but there will be a precedent.
This is my 2nd navtool , first one was purchased in 2016 and now I purchased one again in 2020, products gets only better and highly recommended.
I have ordered and received the product next day to my surprise. On YouTube they have follow along installation videos which I followed to get my installation done. I ordered latest navtool 5.0 for my Mercedes W221. 6 month later it still works as advertised. Integrates well with factory radio and controls. Navtool is all controlled via factory radio joystick. It’s similar to what I have seen in the new 2019 Mercedes also using original controls of the car. Very intuitive product to use and DIY friendly.
Top of the line product best of the best experience, ordered it on Monday got it on Wednesday installed it on Friday works without any hiccups, and what’s most interesting thing for anyone who’s going to be reading this review is that it’s 100% just like factory, my brother has a 2019 Acura MDX and it works just like in his 2019 MDX no difference whatsoever. Ask them for discount coupons they have up to 10% off And tell them T of C referring you.
I purchased on 7/23/20 and installed on 7/24. I am very handy and know a lot about electronics. The customer support was terrible. No manual no instructions and very very slow service. After 4 hrs I finally figured it out and got it installed and working. The mirror functionality did not meet expectations. I would like to exchange it for one with CarPlay. There is a 25% restocking fee..yes 25%...soooo unacceptable. All I want to do is return this unit and order the upgraded one with CarPlay. Even though I have only had it for a day...I was told I need to send it back and pay $220 for an upgrade. My experience was TERRIBLE. I would be happy to discuss all the places it could be improved. Update: after I wrote this post I received notice that Navtool suspended my account and indicated to trustpilot that I was a non paying customer. I assume they did this to block my post.
I just received my Video in Motion module for a 2016 Cadillac CT6 and I must say, I AM VERY SATISFIED. It took just 30 minutes to connect the device and instant Video in Motion. It was an awesome experience and I wasn't sure how EASY to install/connect it was going to be. I must say PLUG AND PLAY!!! That SIMPLE... I did it Myself!!! Great product NavTool. Super easy to use. Super easy to install iwas able to install on my own. Whenn I had a few questions customer service responded really quick and were super helpful . I'm definitely buying myself one tonight !
