I had a great experience with NavTool, although there might be a couple of improvements with their website. I had been trying to find a way to get CarPlay on my vehicle while retaining the factory radio (2016 Dodge Charger) and was almost resigned to spending more than $1000 to buy a newer factory radio and swapping it out when I found out about NavTool's solution. It was still a bit pricey, but not nearly as bad as replacing hardware. I started checking it out last Sunday (Easter) and had a couple of questions that I couldn't find on the website, so I clicked on the "chat" button which is promoted pretty heavily on the site. To my surprise, someone actually replied, on the holiday, and answered my questions. I placed my order, and it arrived on Friday - the slowest, free shipping option, UPS Ground. Prior to charging my credit card and shipping the product, NavTool contacted me to reiterate that the touchscreen would not work for the added CarPlay features, and that it would be controlled by a remote. I already understood that from the videos, but they also pointed out that there was a newer remote than what was shown in the video and sent me a link that showed the newer (and better) hardware. There was a sticker covering the connector on the device when it arrived, instructing me to make sure I read the installation instructions before starting, but I never received a manual. The website has a page for the manuals, but it does not have any links. I requested one a couple of times, but I never received it. I started the installation anyway, because it seemed pretty straightforward. I plugged everything in, but my screen wouldn't turn on. Right as I was going to contact support, I got an email from NavTool that instructed me to program the device before installing it. I downloaded their software from the website and loaded my car's details into it. When I reconnected everything back into the car, the screen came on and I could use the new CarPlay features. I was starting my installation in the evening, and every time I had a question, I would send NavTool an email, and I got a nearly instant response every time. In no time, I had my setup working, although I still needed to program it a second time using a newer installer that wasn't linked on the website. In just a couple of hours, I had the installation complete and it works flawlessly. If I had installation instructions and didn't need to run to the store to buy a necessary cable, I would have had it done in less than an hour. The customer support was outstanding, and the product works exactly as advertised. My only complaints, and the company made up for it with the great real-time assistance, is that I really would have liked to have been able to download a installation/user manual and the latest programming tool directly from the website, instead of from links in emails. An RCA-to-1/8mm audio cable could also have been included, so I wouldn't have needed to run to Walmart and buy a $5 cable. Those small concerns do not prevent me from rating the company or the product as 5 stars, because I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking to add CarPlay to their vehicle without changing any stock features.
I bought a Navtool 3.0 HDMI for my 2005 Acura TL and I couldn’t be happier. It adds HDMI iPhone mirroring and 4 camera inputs for backup camera, front, left and right. Installation was a breeze. Settings can be tuned by connecting unit to a laptop and running the configuration software. Very cool and important add-on to my car. I asked them a lot of installation related questions via Facebook chat and they always answered me. I appreciate their customer support! From my own personal experience I recommend them to family and friends.
I’m was blown away by quality of NavTool products, in one shot I was able to add 4 cameras smartphone mirroring and apple carplay to my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK. I was able to add front camera, 2 side cameras and rear view camera, I now have apple carplay and I’m able to use wake on long trip. Thank you navtool fro such a great product.
So here we go. This is a must read for anyone who is going to buy NavTool. First of all NavTool people have no idea what you are planning to install in your car. So you would need to programm it , programming take no life than 5 minutes. If you don’t do installation for a living take your time. My friend had besybuy geek squad install his NavTool in 2 hours. I tought I could donit in the same amount of time . Well it’s not the case. If you don’t do something for a living don’t expect it to be as fast as a pro. Otherwise it’s great product with Apple CarPlay
First of all if you do research you will quickly learn NavTool got no alternative. Believe me when I tell you I don’t normally write reviews but at the same time I never had such experience with 3 other brands before I found NavTool and all of a sudden NavTool works as expected 1. I have Chevy SS 2. Cadillac Escalade 3. Ford F-150 I wanted to have CarPlay and smartphone mirorng on all 3 cars. NavTool is more of a delaership brand I guess that’s why they are not mainstream brands that people discuss online, but all these mainstream brands I found online either didn’t work or didn’t have amazing picture quality that NavTool provides. I was doing this installtion over a weekend, navtool support is open Saturday and sunday, i was able to live chat with them at midnight. Other brands that i tried couldn’t even answer basic questions that i was asking. Everything that i ordered from navtool worked as expected and comes on the scren in HD quality. On my Chevy SS i got Carly that i’m amble to control via factory touchscreen, and also i’m able to mirorr iphone using lighting to HDMI adapter. You have to switch USB between miroring and carplay. On my Escalade I also have carplay with touch screen controls and miroring. On my Ford F-150 i only installed carplay. Navtool competitors that i was trying to install prior to navtool are clearly made and designed in china and seems low quality. When you receive NavTool you can see right a way that its a high quality product. Hopefully my review will help you.

This company is the best! They processed my order super quick and even helped me every step of the way setting it up. They were patient took their time and answered all my questions. I don't know another company that help you as much as these people. They stayed with me until I was totally satisfied with the way it looked and sounded. Absolutely horrific & waste of time with this Company. I should have dealt with Coastal Tech. Exchanged a CANBOX3.0-HDMI+SYNC-CAM12 for CANBOX3.0-HDMI+SYNC-CAM10. Waited 2 months as they explained “we are waiting for a part” When the item did finally arrive after begging for ETA & status…The exact same box & item was send back. What the heck? Looks like decent product, unfortunately the Company is run like a Garage co. Obviously, some folks have been lucky, I am not one of them. Assume because you can only get your unique 32 digit transaction number by contacting them directly vs seeing it for yourself on the order history, will get the standard could not verify customer BS. But will they make this right quickly?.....its a gamble :( -Update 1 hr after review… Yup, that’s exactly what happened. Now when I try contacting for that secret 32 digit number, Larry from Fraud prevention replies with this ” hello at this time, there is an issue with your account we can only help via physical mail” Chat is active & unresponsive. Then I mention to Larry that I will report to my Visa under my buyer protection….The response was “here is another proof that you are fraudster” Despite providing Order # & RMA #. -Update 1 week later, attempting to get full refund. I’m told we are past the return date & that I used incorrect CCV code on my credit card. Then was threatened they would contact my company & tell them how unprofessional I am & several other threats that are impossible. Too bad I own the subsidiary in this country, so the fake complaints would come to me. Do yourself a favor & go elsewhere or take the gamble. Rebutal: At least I went from…. -Fake review not a customer -Fraudster with CC -BBB complaint against my company & I should be fired comments. But not a real customer, does not have subscription. Yes, I ordered wrong product got 1 RMA Exchange that took 2 months & same product/package sent back. Refused a refund, but offered custom firmware at $200 Unfortunately, no understanding that this F150 2010 has an F250, HD based single unit retro fit. Not an OEM 2 piece unit as per factory. However, advised no issue in their chat & email several times. Customer always wrong after bill paid. Regardless, have already received competitor’s product & works flawless. Smartphone mirroring kit was not plug n play for my car as advertised. Now they are playing games with me and will not allow me to return the kit for a refund. I had to file a claim with my credit card company for a refund. Customer service was rude and no help, tech support didn't know what they were talking about. My car was sitting at the shop for two days while the installer was trying to contact them for tech support. A waste of time and money. I am a customer and provided them with my order number. Also have emails proving communication back and fourth with this company.

This is the absolute worst company I have ever done business with! They sent me a defective unit that I had professionally installed. After much frustration I finally received an RMA and returned it with signature required through USPS. The first attempt to deliver to them was on Saturday and the business was closed. Eventually it was delivered and signed for. However, they never sent a new unit Back to me. As others have stated emails were rude, all lowercase one or two word maybe three word responses and often misspelled. I finally gave up after two months and disputed the charge on my credit card. They then claimed that they never received the product from me. However I had the signed receipt from the United States postal Service. As well as all of the emails where they admitted they received the bad unit and a new one had been shipped. So basically, they lied and tried to steal my money. I was very patient with them and really just wanted a working product. Do yourself a favor and steer far, far clear from this company. And yes this is a real order. My order number is 14087096 See below, there's your three word response. Update. After posting this review, Navtool immediately responded by saying "not a customer". Well they sure treated me like I was "not a customer" after they had my money! Then they disputed my review with trust pilot claiming I wasn't a real customer so the review was removed until I provided proof of being a customer. And hey, you are reading the review so you decide if I'm a real customer. Again, these crooks tried to steal my money by claiming to my credit card provider that I never returned the faulty unit. Even though they acknowledged receipt of the return and claimed multiple times in emails that a new one had been shipped. They are BAD NEWS! STAY AWAY! Check their BBB rating. Actually, click on the BBB tab on their website. It begins to tell why you should ignore their rating but the logo is prominently posted as if they have a great rating. Update Nov 9th, 2017 Navtool is again claiming I’m not a customer.

I understand why people leave reviews like that, I needed up in the same boat. I don’t work on cars for a living and it get frustrating fast, so I went to a shop around the corner 1 hour later and $100 dollars all was installed and now I have carplay in my Jeep Wrangler.
