Aug 05,2022Wake me up I am dreaming about the CarPlay in my car, wake me up I am dreaming about CarPlay in my car. Actually I am not dreaming. I had a dream to add CarPlay to my car and everybody was telling me that I have to change the radio but there is no way to change the radio in my car. So when I give up going to professionals I decided to the research myself, apparently I didn’t have to go far with my research my cousin actually had already one in his car for a year. I always thought that his CarPlay was installed at the factory I didn’t realize that it was CarPlay from NavTool. Long story short I have CarPlay for a couple of months in my car and couple of months of joy in my life.

Aug 04,2022I was a little bit skeptical because a lot of mixed reviews online, I decided to go to Best Buy to see what they have for my car to add Apple CarPlay. To my surprise Best Buy installation technician I recommended me to get NavTool for my vehicle. Basically long story short Best Buy told me that if I was to buy directly they will install it for me, apparently Best Buy installs products that they don’t even sell. So I scheduled my installation got my NavTool on order. My appointment was scheduled a couple weeks out so there was plenty of time for me to get the interface, I got the interface in the mail via FedEx and took it to Best Buy on the installation date. Three hours later and $150 was the deal. Now I have Apple CarPlay in my vehicle That to my surprise works identical to what my friends vehicle have that have factory installed CarPlay. I thought it was going to be something different but as much as I was explained by Bas by technician dad CarPlay is the CarPlay is a CarPlay it doesn’t matter whether it’s factory installed or from NavTool or from Sony. I honestly can’t even tell that my car never had CarPlay, nothing new was added to the car I control it using my touchscreen it’s like it was always there. Best money I ever spent on the car upgrade

Aug 04,2022This is the most amazing thing that could happen to me, I was about to trade my car in just to have Apple CarPlay but with Current cars on prices it’s ridiculous. My dealer was definitely telling me that there is no way to add Apple CarPlay, what I learned is that dealers have no idea whether CarPlay can be added or not because they just sell whatever parts they have at the dealership. I’ve found NavTool from a YouTube video place the order on their website and got it delivered by FedEx the next day which was a nice surprise. Now I have to install the part and I don’t really want to take it anywhere to get it done since it’s all plug and play anyway. Navtool have amazing video how to take your vehicle apart and install their devices. If you’re going to contact them make sure you somehow ask to speak to Andy, this guy I think is some kind of wizard of technical support he answered all my questions and help me do installation in 15 minutes. Now that I’ve use this system for a little bit I’m confident in the product that’s why I am writing my review and a recommendation to anybody who is looking to get one. One thing that you should know is that the CarPlay entirely lives inside your phone because I just recently went on vacation and rented a car and same apps appeared in the rental. Basically I learned that NavTool or the Chevy that I rented they all have just the CarPlay interface but the CarPlay system updates only inside your phone so that’s super convenient because now I can take it from one car to another and have all my apps already preset. Prior to purchase I actually research some of their competitors or alternatives, what I did learn is the following NavTool is the only one that I found to be made in the USA comes with a lifetime warranty and they have been in business since 2002. The main advantage of navtool system is that it uses all your factory controls, they are the only company that I was able to find that allows you to use factory vehicles microphone for calling without the needle installing external microphone everybody else said I will need to install a small microphone. Basically you get Apple CarPlay in your car and there’s really not much to it straight forward.

Aug 01,2022don't waste your money, i give them 1 star and i dont know somehow they are able to delete my review, so that why i writing my review again, so that peoples should know how they treat their customer and rip them off, Ok, long story -short, After installed their product it worked 1 day, next day whole unit went black out, no light, nothing it just freeze, then went back to my installer, he spent 2 hr to fixed but no luck, i contact Navtool, they replied after 2 days n said no issue with out product, and finally after a week they agree for exchange n asked me to fill up the form, but everytime i filled up n send them back, they replied me exchange or return declined, i tired more than 3-4 times n always same declined , declined 😡, i paid $500 Usd For the product n then bloody $300 aud for the installed, And after i write review then they send me the message, u need to update ur software, What the heck?? Why they send the product if that need software update in a week, r u serious???? Do you think we Customer have time to wait 2-3 weeks for your reply and conclusion, and then drive the car with faulty unit (with no light nothing) N also they asked me to delete my review so that they can update my software, otherwise they cant unlock my account 😂😡 Reply - i know sometime you need to update the software, but do you think i have time or even my installer have time to wait for your software update call (which is after a 2 weeks i complain for your product is not working)??? Do u even know how much they charge per hour? I just waste $300 for installed N u installed your unit, And what is the reason that before buy the product we get reply in 2 mins, but after buy the product if any probelm, then get reply after a 2-3 days even sometime a week. Is that how u treat ur customer.

Mar 25,2022Made my purchased approximately six months ago so far I couldn’t be happier. I typically don’t write reviews until a substantial amount of time half past since I start using the product. I personally love recommending good products to other people but after I have thoroughly tested it. Navtool a wireless CarPlay interface is something to dream about and here’s why. First of all I know a lot of my friends have cars that have CarPlay in them and they all have to connected with the cable I get into my car and it’s just on the screen while my phone is in my pocket. Product works as expected but there is nothing that I can say that would make it any better than it already is. Far as everything else goes I would recommend you only one thing and one thing always they have amazing tech-support if you get stuck during installation just give them a call or better yet I personally like that they support iMessage live chat and it’s just straight sent pictures to them they sent picture back to me and were able to figure out any issues I had during installation. By the way the only reason I had any issue the reg installation is because I was too lazy to read the manual which they told me all you have this problem look at in the manual on page 8 and it was there just in front of my face. Product is highly recommend. Contact them if you want to get a discount the hook you up.

Mar 25,2022Amazing product with great customer service and the best technical support I have ever experienced. I have purchased wireless Apple CarPlay for my Mercedes and I can tell you that the product and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. First of all product arrived by FedEx express mail in two days after I placed my order. Than product is solid I have read online some horror stories about products that people purchase off eBay so I decided not to even take any chances with any of these eBay products especially most of them mark that they ship out of China. Navtool to my surprise is actually made in the USA. Product looks like it’s made in the USA 100%. Lifetime warranty is just an amazing feature that is totally free. I’ve been using it for the past three months works without a hiccup and honestly I have my Escalade that came factory with CarPlay and a half to get into the car and connect cable every time and the fact that NavTool is wireless it’s really amazing. Some of the things like factory stern will controls operate on the interface as well as factory microphone can be used nothing like that I have seen with any other products that I have researched. The fact that I’m not required to install install a microphones like all of the products that I looked at otherwise required me to install a microphone is an amazing feature on its own

Mar 24,2022NavTool video interface with Apple CarPlay is absolute blessing. This is my second navtool now that they have released one with wireless Apple CarPlay I had to upgrade my wired version. Honestly it’s amazing that I can get into the car and have Apple CarPlay without phone being connected to the car. I just got into the car phone is in my pocket I start the car and car place on my screen I can make and receive calls. Navigation system is amazing through wireless Apple CarPlay even if I program destination in my house when I get into the car I open Google maps and it asked me if I want to navigate to a destination that I have entered previously. I am amazed by the fact that they have support available on Sunday it’s really really nice that I can get somebody to help me on my only day off and honestly the video manuals are very easy to follow along but I did have to call them one time to ask a question and I was surprised that somebody was there on Sunday. Product is highly recommended for anybody that is looking to get Apple CarPlay specifically because not only it’s made in the USA but it has a lifetime warranty. Since this is my second navtool I am very happy with it And looking forward to getting one for my wife’s car as soon as my tax refund comes back.

Jan 29,2022In my 34 years of engineering and technical writing, this is the worst company I have come across. Yes... I purchased directly from Navtool and have the appropriate documents to confirm. They indicate they have "technical support". this amounts to nothing more than a person on the end of a chat line copy and pasting canned responses every half hour in an attempt to help. Have a look at their manuals ( oh wait.. they won't post them) and install videos before you consider using them. This will give you a good indication on the quality of their product. Sorry I just could not give a no star rating.

Jan 20,2022Basically I was thinking that I want to get CarPlay for my car couldn’t find solution. When I found this I thought it was too good to be true so I said I’m not going to buy it. Then I went to Best Buy to put in a whole new rate in my car would like built-in CarPlay and all the other bells and whistle‘s. Best Buy representative told me it’s impossible to do because my car cannot get aftermarket radio. But to my surprise I was recommended to get this into my car. I’ve ordered CarPlay from NavTool got it within couple of days. Brought it to Best Buy they installed it within couple hours and now I have wireless CarPlay in my car that works truly amazing . That’s by representative also explained to me that my car was due to the fact of CarPlay is only inside of my iPhone. So basically doesn’t matter whether you change the radio factory CarPlay or navtool it’s all the same thing. So far I’ve been using it for over a month every time I start the car my phone is in my pocket my CarPlay on my screen I don’t even take it out of my pocket anymore. Highly recommended product because my car dashboard stayed the same I control it from my touchscreen it’s basically makes me feel like I got a brand new car.

Jan 19,2022Navtool 6.0 with wireless CarPlay for my Acura TLX 2016 is what I got and used for the past 45. Product was easy to order paid with a credit card and received it couple of days later. Very nice packaging for the product you can write a waste of the product is made in the USA and the box reflects with a big American flag. There is a QR code on the interface that you can scan to get direct access to support which was tremendous help especially apparently they are open late hours because I was doing this upgrade after I got home from work. Installation is extremely simple you just got a match the plugs in the back of the radio which is nothing complicated especially if you do puzzles all day long with your kids lol. Some of the pleasant surprises that I Enjoyed compared to the other products that I have seen online is that I was on the impression that he will need to install an external microphone but you actually don’t there is no microphone and the kids and it’s uses vehicles built in microphone. The other thing that was really neat is that I did not have to connect anything to my AUX port in the car, Everything else I have seen online required that connection but this is already done for you in the back of the radio as I was explained by the tech support department. Wireless CarPlay is very nice because I get into my car and I have the phone in my jacket pocket I don’t even have to take it out. Another interesting setting that I found extremely extremely amazing is automatic apple CarPlay mode. And the biggest surprise of all was that I was able to use my steering wheel controls for music and phone calls which after doing lots of research left me an impression that it’s not possible to do. So basically CarPlay is controlled just like I would do it in any other car that I have seen with factory CarPlay

Jan 18,2022Navtool where is my commission? Just kidding thank you for a great product. I was previously using a competitor product that was not working since day one. They replaced it and it was still not working. But I really wanted CarPlay and I got navtool 6.0. Long story short it works without any problems or glitches. You can clearly tell that the product is made specifically for the car. I drive a Cadillac Escalade 2015 that did not have Apple CarPlay in that year, the competitor unit That I had installed was kind of by guess Universal. This one you can see specifically made for the car. The product was truly plug and play I like the competitor product that I had previously in the car with NavTool I did not have to run anything to auxiliary jack the audio was pre-wired., Microphone no longer required to be external like the competitors product that I had installed before. I’m glad that I purchased NavTool and I am glad that the product is really made specifically for the car and not something that I have to hack into the car. The previous module that I purchased, Not only that I had to connect to products together to make it work and then run wires all over the car and install microphones etc. it was a true nightmare. This was all in one product plug and play into the car and that’s it it’s just really makes me smile as I’m writing this review. I highly recommend the product it’s amazing and nothing like it exists as far as I can tell, all the other companies that I contacted they all required two or three modules connected in the car instead of one like NavTool offers, they all required to install external microphone with NavTool I can use car microphone, they all required to run a Wire to AUX with NavTool I don’t have to do that

Jan 18,2022Just received navtool 6.0 with wireless Apple CarPlay and it’s amazing. First of all I was a little bit skeptical prior to purchase reading some of the reviews online but then I realized during my process exactly why everybody is complaining. This is very simple don’t expect it to install it in one minute just like a professional. It takes time to understand the product. Basically what I thought that it didn’t work I contacted them and ask them a question that would give me an answer and then Even tell me where to look in the manual. Basically all the answers were in front of me from the get-go but I didn’t read the manual I just quickly skim through it. So this ia actually amazing product, it has digital audio from what I can understand and the audio plays super clear super loud. In my Acura MDX I am able to use my factory microphone I didn’t have to install any external microphones. I am able to answer the calls and call up Siri and control my music all through the steering wheel this is pretty amazing because my friend purchased a competitor product and he does not have this feature and the audio is much lower. Delivery was lightning fast I ordered on Monday and got it on Wednesday, FedEx express and I didn’t pay pay for it. Product is made in the USA and that’s super amazing on top of that you can see the quality because I see my friends product that he bought from another company that is made in China I believe and it has me asking questions. I’m riding the review after I’ve been using this product for approximately month and a half and the in reality it works 100% as advertised. There was one glitch but iOS 15.2.1 that was released yesterday fixed it so it wasn’t on their side if you read iOS 15.2.1 updates you will see It’s fixed the issues that CarPlay had inside the iPhone, so I recommend updating your iPhone to a minimum iOS 15.2.1 Thank you NavTool for a great product

Dec 29,2021I had bought a carplay module as a christmas gift on 12/3 They finally shipped out the product on 12/9 I received the product on 12/14 Their website says they have a 14-day return window. Don't listen to it, they have no return window. Will not accept a return, in fact, there literally isn't an option when I attempted to fill out a form just to return it. Oh, did you catch that? To return an item, you have to fill out a form on their horribly designed website, which hides it well. After the form, I presume it goes to someone else to check the form before just issuing the return? Such a bs way to waste time to then deny even more returns. If you have already purchased one and are coming here to see if the experience is the same, I am sorry. If you have not already purchased from them, do not. Find something else. Do not buy unless you are 10000% sure you will use the item. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service experience, will not accept returns. Product might work, didn't get that far. After looking through the other reviews, fearing others may have experienced the same as me. I can't begin to understand how childish the owner or whoever their customer service rep is. ANY negative reviews? just refuse they bought a product from you. This is not how you build a business. Do not buy. It is not worth any hassle you WILL experience. I don't know what more to say than just don’t. edit. Forgot to mention the "customer service rep" I spoke to threatened to turn me into the IRS?? I just... yeah.... don’t....

Dec 04,2021The navtool initially didn’t work after installation so I called tech support and the representative was patient and explained where so had gone wrong. I made the corrections and the navtool started to work but there were 2 issues not working properly. The tech rep was patient and worked with me to solve these problems completely, even going so far as to update the software of the car model for the unit to work correctly. The unit is now working perfectly and it’s all because of the patience and diligence of the tech rep to get the job done and make sure the customer had a fully working system.

WOULD BE MUCH EASIER TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS BUT IT'S THEIR BUSINESS MODEL TO NOT CARE FOR CUSTOMERS. HAVE A GOOD DAY, NOW YOU GUYS KNOW WHY ALL YOUR GOOD PEOPLE LEFT TO FORM A BETTER RIVAL COMPANY WITH GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE bought an apple carplay module for my daughters Acura, purchase was smooth and received product but hadn't opened yet and then they sent an email about the new wireless module available. Tried to call company to return the one I just bought and purchase the new one but their phone was having issues (after reading reviews going back 2 years they act like they are having phone problems to end the call) started a chat on their website and set up return. they sent a text about my phone call and I purchased the new one with the promise it would ship following week that was 10/30/2021. Sent original module back in and on 11-17-2021 I hadn't received refund or new unit. Checked the tracking for return and it was received by them on 11-9-2021....attempted to call during business hours but no one answered, received a text again asking if they could help explained that I was looking for my refund and the new product I had purchased....they told me I had done the return improperly and wouldn't refund my money (this is also a common theme in other reviews) Felt shady so I checked the BBB website and saw the F-rating and lots of complaints about the same thing and the product not working and their attempts to delay past return period, so now I'm concerned and want to just cancel both orders (both are still in their posession) now they accuse me of wanting to sue a billion dollar company for millions? I try to explain that I just want my money back but they say they will not cancel my pending order and refund my money....next they ask me to notarize my text messages with them? we keep texting and finally they agree to refund my money, ship the products and then turn me over to collections. I'm good with that, just want my $1100.00 they promised to refund Like other reviews, they are claiming I am not a customer, below is my order information from them....this is 1 order, I'm happy to post the other as well as my credit card charges. I wonder why everyone posts the same problems and they deny their customers? If they would attempt to make their customers happy they wouldn’t have to worry about all the terrible reviews around the web Navtool will not quit trying to get this truthful review removed. I have sent the proof of both orders to Trustpilot and the "verified" will appear soon at the top of this review. Nov 09,2021If you read other feedback forums you will find much more complaints than on trustpilot. Unfortunately, I just looked at the NT homepage and thought these very positive postings would be enough recommendation to buy there. Big mistake ! Incl. shipping, customs clearance to Germany this is 375 USD out of the window for a device for the bin. Before you buy read the Terms and Conditions for returns first ! If you read the refund policies it is obvious why you have no chance of getting a refund the moment you have accepted the package and opened it, particularly if the price is reduced as many items on this webpage are. I bought a gmbox VIM from Navtool for a Cadillac STS 2007 that arrived with an opened package (inside the shipping box e.g. not opened by customs or so) and looked totally different from what they showed on their webpage. The picture on the Website showed 2 video connectors, the one I got had none. I sent the picture and contacted the helpdesk and was told that the model had changed and that this was what I had ordered ! Worst of all it doesnt work at all. Black screen. No wiring diagram to check the connectors.No manual. NT told me it is plug and play. Doesnt need a manual. The confirmed that the model is right for my application and I had installed the right software, but refuses to take back the device. The connectors fit ok so it must be the electronics that are at fault. When I contacted the helpdesk they droped the phone on me when I described the problem (I'm a native English speaker and calmly explained what the problem is) When I contacted the chat the lady posted "tech support is busy, please wait" which I did, after some time I asked if I had been forgotten and the lady went "absent" Navtool does not accept paypal and is not on Ebay. Guess why. I wonder how they seem to keep getting away with this kind of behaviour. Addendum dd. Nov 16th Because they are not able to provide adequate counter arguments they published my personal data and address which is against Trustpilot rules. Addendum dd. Nov 22nd My personal data was removed from this site. Thank you, Trustpilot. Claiming I did not buy from the "real NavTool.com" is such a nonsense. I provided proof of purchase to Trustpilot. And I will not waste further time and money on Navtool. End of communication.

Sep 04,2021Apple CarPlay on my factory screen, amazing that I thought that only new cars have Apple CarPlay. My dealer was assuring me that I need to trade in my car to have Apple CarPlay and android auto. I feel like people live on a different planet. Simple Google search revealed this company called NavTool. I went online and checked out their YouTube videos and place an order. I have arrived to my NYC home in three days. Few things to note product is made in the USA. Amazing warrantee that is not one not two years not 10 years but lifetime. Many great products available for accessories such as adding front and side cameras. Installation is 100% plug and play so basically if you are a little handy like myself you should have zero problems installing it. I was doing installation late at night after work and I was amazed that I was able to reach their support and they provided me help and I was able to send a video through their website to show them to travel I was having and they gave me the settings I need it within five minutes truly amazing when you do installation at midnight. The only thing now that I want to add is a Roku or fire stick to watch my favorite shows while I wait for my wife to do her nails.

Aug 05,2022If you’re reading this review hopefully I’m saving you time and money and you don’t repeat my mistakes. I have wasted time trying to get other brands to work in my vehicle, I’ve tried three enough to competitors and they all have the same problem they did not work. I was trying to save couple of dollars and get something that cheap and use my CarPlay., Well unfortunately I learned that it doesn’t exist. Basically two out of three companies sent me exactly the same product with a different sticker on top it was ridiculous. Later on in my research I’ve learned that they basically bring the stuff from overseas and put labels with their company names on top of it but it’s all the same garbage. So with NavTool I finally decided to spend the money and get it. I was surprised when I arrived I didn’t realize that it was made in the USA and came with a lifetime warranty so that’s a big one. Installation was a breeze and it actually worked as soon as I installed it as it comes with detailed manuals that are easy to follow for somebody who is a do it yourself like myself.
