I have been working with NACA for a while now in purchasing a home. The experience has been pleasant. I truly believe that this is the closest I have been to purchasing a home. The blessing is that they walk you through the process. Ms./Mrs. Tanisha who works in the Atlanta office, I know God sent her to help me through and she did that with grace. Thank you NACA. I am claiming victory because we are close.
My experience with my counselor Ellen Peterson, has been phenomenal. Ellen is very professional, precise, patient, and very knowledgeable. She walked me through the entire process step by step, and explained to me what each step means and what I need to do to complete them. I'm extremely grateful for her dedication and the amount of effort that she put in to guide me along the way. Thank you, Ellen!
My experience with Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America has been phenomenal. Their agents are extremely friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable. The NACA program is an amazing alternative to expensive traditional mortgage programs.
My experience with NACA has been a journey of patience, learning, and ultimately, success. The program itself offers an incredible opportunity for homebuyers, especially those looking for affordable financing with no down payment or closing costs. However, the process is not for the faint of heart—it requires dedication, organization, and a lot of follow-up. My counselor played a huge role in guiding me through the process. They were knowledgeable and supportive, but at times, communication could have been more consistent. There were moments when I had to take extra initiative to get updates or move things along, but when I did, my counselor was responsive and helped clarify any concerns. One thing to note about NACA is that while the benefits are unbeatable, the timeline can be longer than expected. There were a few delays along the way, but I found that staying proactive and keeping my documents in order helped speed things up. Overall, I appreciate what NACA offers and the effort my counselor put into helping me reach my goal. If you’re considering NACA, be prepared for a thorough process, but know that the rewards are well worth it in the end. Would I recommend it? Yes—but with the understanding that patience and persistence are key!
So far, so good! With it being almost impossible to buy a home in Southern California, NACA is allowing that possibility to come true. Although there is a lot of paperwork, it is all worth it. Keeping my fingers crossed.
My experience with N.A.C.A., specifically with my counselor Ellen Peterson, has been truly fantastic. From the moment I learned about N.A.C.A., I was immediately drawn to their mission and core values. Ellen's dedication to ensuring I understood every aspect of the process was remarkable. She patiently went line by line through all the required information, even breaking down complex concepts I was unfamiliar with. The N.A.C.A. portal's 'Upcoming Tasks' section was incredibly helpful. It provided a clear sense of progress, even when the overall process felt extensive. Unlike other similar programs that often feel rushed, N.A.C.A. allowed me to work at my own pace, which significantly reduced stress. Currently, I'm in the review process, and I feel confident and well-prepared thanks to Ellen and N.A.C.A.'s comprehensive support. I wholeheartedly recommend N.A.C.A. to anyone who is determined to achieve homeownership and is looking for a way to combat predatory lending practices. If you're ready to put in the work, N.A.C.A. provides the tools and guidance you need to succeed.
NACA is an amazing opportunity for those who are willing to be patient and follow their strict process. If you’re in no rush and are looking for a truly affordable path to homeownership, it’s worth it.
Naca has been challenging but worth the challenge. I recommend everyone consider going through NACA first. I wish everyone in the program and who has finished the program the best.
Hello, my name is Ibett Lopez. I had the privilege of discovering the NACA program, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the very beginning, the NACA team has been incredibly professional and has offered me continuous support. Their customer-centered approach and willingness to help have given me great peace of mind. What I most appreciate about NACA is their genuine commitment to helping people access affordable housing, without the worry of excessive interest rates or predatory payments. They are guiding me step by step and providing all the necessary tools to make informed decisions about my financial future and my home. I am confident that, thanks to NACA, I will be able to achieve the dream of becoming a homeowner without facing the traditional barriers that many banks impose. I am very grateful for their help and highly recommend their services.
Gracias NACA por guiarme en el proceso de compra y ayudarme a vivir dentro de mis ingresos. Gracias a NACA y a mi consejero Antonio Coronado ahora soy mas responsable y espero pronto ser dueño de mi casa.
I've given them over 2 years of my time. I've done everything to comply. What NACA does is consistently find different ways to deny me of the opportunity of receiving a mortgage. They enjoy charging me money to constantly run "soft pulls" on my credit. They particularly enjoy having me pay annual fees to remain compliant with their demands. And their communication is absolutely atrocious. It takes months to schedule a meeting. They never answer their phones, or emails, unless you spend over a month of consistently calling them. They are the worst run program I have ever had the misfortune of working with.
Ellen Petersen is an absolute gem! She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable—everything you could ask for in a mortgage counselor. No matter how late or long the process took, she stuck with me, even staying late on Friday nights to make sure my paperwork was in order. There’s no question she can’t answer, and she made me feel like more than just another client—I truly mattered to her. Her dedication to my financial well-being and success as a homeowner was evident every step of the way. God bless her! If you're lucky enough to get Ellen as your counselor, you're in the best hands possible. Highly recommend!
So far, my experience with NACA has been great. Have a great counselor, Ms. S. Jones, who has been patient with me. My first initial consultation was a bit overwhelming, but I survived it. One of the things that NACA is doing well in is making sure that all the appropriate documentation that is required to process my application. The only thing that is stopping me is me. For example, moving from one state to another is a headache itself but trying to find your important document is another. And to add icing to the cake, I’m not really that proficient with technology and I’m not on any social media. Ms. Jones has been again great but I’m sure she said a couple of things under her breath. I think I finally have all that I need to proceed. Word to the wise, make sure all your important documents are together before starting this process.
So far I have had a positive experience with NACA. My representative is Esme Redman and she has been a pleasure to work with. The process has been simple so far and I appreciate that.
Hello there, everyone! I am a first-time homebuyer in the NACA program. I must say that my experience applying with NACA (National Assistance Corporation of America) is a rigorous yet informative process. However, it gives me a deeper sense of security and preparedness in this homebuying journey. The required Home-Buyer Workshop, available in person or online, was very educational and entertaining. FYI: I completed the online workshop. I was impressed by the assistance provided by my assigned counselors, who were extremely helpful. I would say that scheduling my initial appointment was a little confusing for me. However, I could contact someone through live customer service who explained everything thoroughly. NACA is great for middle to low-income first-time homebuyers who may have limited savings for the downpayment or have credit challenges. Please be aware that income limits, home price caps, and specific area restrictions exist. I am currently in the offer stage for homes now. So far, I would give NACA 5/5 stars. Once I complete the process, I am confident I will be leaving many more testimonials about how amazing this NACA program is!
I had an initial interview with NACA today and it was awesome. It's so good to know that minorities have such great options and opportunities when ready to own a home. Thank you NACA! And thank you to the awesome team at NACA.
I have started my journey on buying a home. After talking to several lenders, and filling like I was getting black balled on down payment amounts and closing costs, and not to mention all the other thing attached to a house payment. I found this great homebuying program, there’s no down payment, no closing cost and no consideration of credit score, check it out at NACA.com
I'm a first-time homebuyer and my NACA experience has been great! The counselors are very thorough and extremely helpful with getting you through the process. I highly recommend the program to anyone looking to buy a home for the first time

Mar 05,2025This program is exciting and God sent! I just happened to see a video about it on my social media around the time I started to look for a new house. Uploading documents with the further assistance with a NACA counselor made the process seamless. Counselor Ellen has been easy to communicate with and truly understanding. I would recommend NACA to all my friends and already have!
