This review explains the intake with NACA. You meet virtually with your counselor due to the pandemic. Some counselors are loan officers and some are not. Both with help you get the required documentation in order. Ideally you've provided the documentation prior to the meeting. The counselor will review your ID, address and rental history, bank accounts, debt, employment details and perform a credit check. The counselor will inquire about your home ownership goals, budget and then calculate your affordability based on the information you've provided. You should close the meeting with an action plan which will outline the steps required to progress through the program and become homebuyer qualified. Some action plans could take months to complete. Sometimes a participant can get an action plan that takes a week or two to complete. The intake will give you an idea of how close or far you are from being deemed qualified to enter the housing search. Once you're qualified you take a second workshop, then house-hunt. My counselor was knowledgeable, transparent and friendly. Minus one star for the software as it is not very user friendly or efficient for the counselor nor the participant.

Naca is a detailed program that want to make sure you are capable or owning a house. They help you buy a house of your choice with low interest rate. Naca has workshops where they inform you on the ins and outs, they're very detailed in reference to your finances. I hope to buy my house this year and very soon!

NACA is the best homebuying program for those who want low interest rates. NACA's financial counselors are great at whipping you in shape to be more than prepared for your homebuying experience. Through their workshops I learned so much about homebuying and budgeting. Counselors will guide you step by step throughout the process in getting you into your new home. Thank you NACA

I am currently going through the process of looking for a contractor to come out to inspect NACA's required repairs list and provide HAND with a repair quote. This has not been a walk in the park. I'm supposed to close on 3/4/2022 and I still don't have an estimate. No one from the list of contractors that NACA provides wants to assist, they are too busy, or not available in my time frame. I've located other contractors in MD and called each one. No one wants to work with NACA, or I must have ownership of the property first before they will come out, or again they are not available to come out during my time frame. I'm afraid I'm going to lose this home. I wish NACA had contractors in every state that NACA sends out to inspect repairs and provide a repair quote. This has been very stressful. Why can't NACA just accept the waiver without having to see a repair quote. According to my HAND coordinator, they must receive a repair quote first before I can submit a waiver. Someone please help!!

I am currently going through the NACA process to increase my purchasing package. I was pre-approved in October 2021 however couldn't find a home in my price range base. The process is okay, I think they can move a little faster even though they are still working with me to be approve me. I think my counselor is doing his best, very helpful and responsive. I will give him a 4.5 stars. He never gives up on me.

I am currently going through the NACA process, got pre-qualified Feb 2021 but couldn't find a home base on the amount and type of multi-unit I wanted. The process is okay, I think they can move a little faster and respond quicker due to the current competitive nature of the house market. I think my counselor is doing his best, very helpful and responsive. I will give him a 5-stars. I am going through the re-qualification process again. I am hoping everything works faster this time around. I will keep you guys posted about the process this time around.

After a long look at my life an future I decided it was time for me to step into who and what I wanted to be. I did not know if I could do it or not. Especially all by myself. A friend recommended the NACA program and I did some basic research with the thought, "what do I have to lose". I found the messaging of the program something that I believed in and the structure something that I could follow. I took my initial class in DECEMBER '21 and now it is FEBRUARY 22' my application is ready to be submitted. I found working with my counselor to be extremely easy and my confidence was boosted in the process. I feel I have the support system and guidance to make a life long decision for myself. I highly recommend this program for someone who is ready for a change and wants to acquire a home that did not feel they could do it. I am walking away feeling empowered and prepared.

My experience is going okay. I'm currently still in the process of being approved but I'm hopeful everything will work out. My counselor is very helpful and responds to my emails within 24 hours.

Took my first workshop in October 2021, on the advice of colleagues. The workshop was fun, informative, and hopeful. For those of us that have faithfully paid the bills as best we could, with some minor hiccups in between, this is the perfect program. They recognize the value of the person, and the real accuracy of payment history. I had my first HC meeting in January 2022, which went very very well. Nicole D was fantastic, fun to work with and encouraging, along with humourous (which I highly value people who can do business while being human). I have an action plan, I know what to do, and within about 3 hours, I am 1/3 of the way through my action plan tasks. Next scheduled for early March with highly achievable goals to meet. If you are in the market for a home, and have the income, but just need a fair shake in terms of learning what must be done and how to do it, this is the place to be. Don't hesitate, and don't wait any longer-- CALL NACA TODAY. You won't be sorry.

My wife and I signed up for the Naca online training in August of 2021. It was very informative. We had our first counseling session on November 29, 2021. Our counselor was very detailed and knowledgeable about the program. My wife and I felt that our first season was great. Our counselor answered our questions. He provided a detailed, action plan with the necessary documents that's needed for our next session, which is scheduled for February 22,2022. We are working diligently on uploading all of the requested documents to ensure that our upcoming appointment goes well. We are also making sure that documents are current.
Reflecting , on our first appointment I felt that it was meaningful and informative. My wife and I are very excited that this program will assist with the closing cost , no PMI. And of course the low interest rate. The only thing I wished for was a earlier appointment. However my wife are patience and are excited and looking forward for our February appointment with our counselor.

I had my first session with assign my assign counselor on December 14th. The experience was a great one. She was patient and answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed and she is clearly knowledgeable and eased my worries I had leading up to my appointment. She thoroughly reviewed all my documents and explained what was needed for my next scheduled appointment. My next scheduled appointment is for December 28th. I’m optimistic about a homeowner now because of NACA long history of making homeownership a reality for so many. I wished I knew about this program years ago. I will sure to recommend NACA to my fiends and family.

Since this is our first session this all that I can comment on.

I purchased a home in 2014 through NACA. I was able to purchase a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom at a 3.25 interest rate. in North Carolina. The NACA program provides a counselor to assist you with the process. I would highly recommend the program to everyone.

NACA is a fantastic program for 1st time homebuyers. Lots and lots of paperwork so be prepared. If you put in the leg work, you reap incredible financial rewards by saving thousands of dollars over the length of your home loan. This homebuyers program offers lower interest rates than FHA, and there is no PMI insurance, closing costs, and no down payments. I found out about NACA by one of my friends that is still in the process to qualify. NACA has taught me to be disciplined in my budgeting, savings and spending. I'm a step away from being NACA qualified!

I am Currently going through the NACA program in Roseville CA. NACA mortgage is 0% down payment, no closing costs, no PMI, no consideration of credit score & below market interest rate. I had 2 appointments already, my counselor is nothing more than Amazing, she goes above and beyond in assisting me, she walks me step by step. My advice about the NACA process is that you MUST be well organize by budgeting & managing your monthly income and do what your counselor tells you to do. I made a folder on my computer where I keep track of my require documents that must be submit. I’m so lucky to have My counselor Leslie on my site; is very nice, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable about the NACA program, and I am having the best experience.

Currently, I am going through the NACA program. NACA mortgage is 0% down payment, no closing costs, no PMI, no consideration of credit score & below market interest rate. I had my appointment on June 29th which went great. My thoughts about the NACA process are that you really need to be well organize by budgeting & managing your monthly income. I made a digital folder on my computer where I keep track of all my require documents that must be submit, such as paycheck stubs, bank statement, credit card statement, debt, EOL, & W2-tax returns etc. What also help me a lot was watching youtube video of other people that had gone or are going through the process. My counselor Amy is very nice and knowledgeable about the NACA program, and I am having a positive experience. Jihan S.
