Mar 15,2024I've had my workshop/counseling appointments with NACA, and I'm really looking forward to working with them further. They ask for a lot of documentation, but once you have your 1-on-1 appointment, you see why. They really do their best to get you qualified for as much as possible while also preparing you for the realities of paying for a house.

Mar 13,2024I'm having a very good experience and what make that experience so great is having a great counselor Ellen Petersen, she done a wonderful job on keeping me on track on what I have to do she is very patient and very understanding. Mar 09,2024I found out about NACA through a friend who is a realtor when I inquired about housing programs for low-income individuals. I scheduled to go to an informational meeting and then followed the instructions provided. Today was my first counseling meeting with Darryl Hughes and we had a pleasant interaction about what my next steps would be and agreed on an action plan creating a budget. My favorite part of the program is that there is no down payment, and no closing costs. I am looking forward to finding a home that is a good fit very soon.

I followed the instructions provided by my counselor and we have since been home shopping. My favorite part of the program is that there is no down payment, no closing costs, and we get a reduced interest rate. We're looking forward to finding a home that is a good fit very soon.

Feb 13,2024My NACA experience started about two years ago, but once I decided to take the program's requirements seriously, the process started moving very quickly to where I am nearly there to get approved with the assistance of my counselor Monica. The program does make you look at your finances thoughtfully and though it might take quite some time to get there, the budget detail criterion is a very helpful tool and an eye-opener to understanding your spending habits. I think threshold readiness is to demonstrate a saving pattern, budgetary responsibility, and debt awareness to achieve home ownership consideration.

Mar 16,2024I am early on in my experience with NACA (pre-qualification), however, I can already say with confidence that I 100% recommend this program to anybody interested in purchasing a home. I did not think I would ever be able to purchase a home, and thanks to this program (and my awesome counselor, Ellen!) I am feeling more and more prepared to take this big step. NACA's homeowner's workshop was very enlightening and also inspiring, as previous participants came and shared their success stories. I am extremely grateful for my experience so far with NACA and my counselor, Ellen, who has been extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and patient. 10/10 recommend!
