If I could give no stars I would. Developed a fault not long after purchasing the car. Shocking customer service and communication throughout. Spoken down to and very unprofessionally.

Wife took older x5 to get bonnet release cable replaced. Said they could do it but then no had to order part. Returned on due date part still not available. Return again and work shop went to replace. Removed old broken one which u could still tug with pliers to open. Then discovered the part still hadn’t arrived. In end gave courtesy car. Once completed they’d had to break parts and obviously charged to fix their incompetence. Premium price but very poor. Unfortunately local specialist on holiday. Told wife not go in first place and justified. Won’t go there again certainly not at £133/ hr + vat for labour. Obviously for those with deep pockets or stupid enough to pay such prices. Worked at Halfords and a guy there had worked for ocean and was similarly scathing
I had a really excellent service from Georgia at Ocean. I was having a particularly tough time and needed to get a car rather desperately. Georgia was kind and compassionate, and helped me out the moment I walked through the door. She stayed in touch and helped me with any issues I had. I would 100% recommend.

Ocean plymouth are just the worst service driven organisation by far. I sent an email requesting information on a service plan, 5 days pass and No response, three separate calls on three consecutive days asking for the information and each time i was advised no one was available to help and a call back every day was the answer, not one call back on any given day. I will use a business that values its customer.

Firstly I am trying to be fair. I was happy that ocean torbay acted straight away when they realised my car was due in on the day for a service & MOT. One year ago I had very bad communications with BMW ocean Torbay, so this year for service I spoke with the service manager and asked to provide me with confidence that communications would be better. He assured me, however after booking it in I had no further communication to confirm. A few days before the service day I called ocean torbay and was put straight through to plymouth. They said there was no record of the booking and someone from torbay would call. No one called. On the day of service I called them and it was clear they had forgotten. But they said we will come with in hour to collect it, fine. It went it for a service & MOT. They had it for two days and on return I noticed no MOT has been done. More importantly I had told the driver the brakes were feathering, he said they would pick this up on the MOT. Clearly there is a communication problem here, please Ocean can you sort this out, so then I can provide a positive review. Kindest regards Mark smith
Really poor customer service. Had a service plan in place and then get charged extra for a fuel filter. Kept waiting when advised we could collect the car, a paperwork problem according to the customer service team. Very poor. I would go elsewhere.
I'd like thank BMW Ocean Falmouth for a brilliant experience and for providing me with a perfect approved used vehicle. Georgia, from sales, was fantastic throughout the process in terms of communication, transparency, and going the extra mile by servicing the car prior to collection. I particularly appreciated Georgia's relaxed (non pushy) approach, helping me to really enjoy the purchasing experience. Would highly recommend the dealership and Georgia to anyone looking for a BMW.

I'm afraid I will echo some of the other reviews on here - don't use this Ocean BMW Paignton. To cut a long story short I had my car towed here after it had broken down. Took them 3 weeks to diagnose a problem which they said would cost £2500 and an 8 month wait on the part. Got the car towed to another local garage for a second opinion who found it to be only a fault with the key! BMW had completely stripped the dashboard of my car out and never put it back together before it left them. They didn't know the car was going to another garage and for all they knew I was just having it towed back home. I had to pay the other garage to do this and to fix some other parts they had broken. When fed back their management team literally could not have cared less. They make you feel totally devalued. Customer service does not exist here! I would not recommend anyone use them.
Bought a BMW motorcycle last year and what an absolute mistake and headache it was from start to finish. Managed to eventually get the Motorrad manager to accept the service I was not what he would expect but never received an apology from anyone, and service was dire for 3 months of problem after problem. BMW UK offered no assistance whatsoever and the company is just awkward from start to finish. Glad to have sold my BMW at huge financial loss to me however I had zero other choice. I had a Mini before and Ocean Mini Falmouth was fantastic, vehicle and service, Motorrad is absolutely dire. Incompetent staff and just a completely useless department. When you have an issue with the Motorrad manager if you complain you get back to the same Motorrad manager and funnily enough nothing gets sorted. Needs a way to contact the franchise manager/owner but then you can’t get that information. And then to top it off I have continually left my 100% accurate and true accounts of my service and experience on Facebook and I’ve funnily enough been restricted so I can’t comment anymore. 100% modern day crooks. Avoid Ocean Motorrad Falmouth.
