I ordered and had confirmation on my chose of wood, but they sent a different colour box to the board and claimed that the sales description said any colour available. Not helpful at all.

Frankly, this is a really beautiful chess board at any price. But at its price point, it's a no brainer. Delivery was fast, well packed and little fuss.

Quick and easy. One set of pieces had some scratches on them and one of the kings crosses were broken but i can glue that back on and its just a cheap playing set so no worries.

Good quality chess set, board and box. You get a lot for your money. Very well made. Purchased for my daughters birthday and I'm sure she will be pleased with it. Ordered Tuesday afternoon, delivered Thursday lunchtime. A good experience.

A circular spot of lacquer missing on one square and looks used but all packaging destroyed and my little one just excited to play so have had to put up with it. Perhaps the companyvshpuld check quality control before items are sent out...

I bought a really nice chess set from this site. They responded really quickly to a question I had and upgraded the shipping when they heard it was a present for my 11 year old son. Nicely packaged (although I'll confess we've left the pieces for him to unwrap on this birthday so I hope that they're all intact!). A thoroughly pleasant shopping experience: highly recommended.
