Many of our party were OT veterans and I quickly learned that we had to make an effort as well. I will book another.

The tour manager was very welcoming the 4 star hotel was excellent the organised trips were exactly as promised in the brochure. The group was very friendly. Jun 04,2024From the pre-flight get together to our departure from home the whole experience was as good as I had dared hope for. A lot of coach travel, but how else do you get to see what you went to see! And that included things you'd never see as an independent traveller.

Jun 04,2024Small group of guests (only 18). Local guides at every town for only 1 hour. Excellent helpful and friendly staff/crew on board. Unique holiday stopping at islands which were fairly unspoilt. Cheerful amusing tour manager.

Jun 04,2024The tour leader knew the area and was very personable. Fluent in the language. Of the 2 hotels The Ostuni Palace was excellent The Mecurre in Leece was a modernish box and uninspiring in every way. The towns we visited were inspiring with so much history, The sassi (caves) in Matera are an experience not to be missed, considering they are 5000 years old and were inhabited until 1954. The Trulli houses in Alberobello were amazing. Other towns such as Monopoli, Brindisi, Conversano, Martina Franca & Otranto were full of sights/history. Apart from one restaurant we enjoyed wonderful and varied food, wine, cocktails & beer. The visits to the vineyard, winery & olive oil producing factory were of great interest and delightful. Not to mention the masseria (farmhouse) where we enjoyed a fantastic visit, having a 9 course home produced lunch with different wines with each course put us on cloud nine.

Jun 04,2024The whole group was friendly, Everybody arrived on time for the coach in the morning, Amazing! I was particularly impressed with the tour leader's assigning seats by number for meal times. It made sure that nobody felt left out.

Tour guide was experienced and very helpful and dealt with issues both minor and major professionally . All hotels/lodges were excellent with friendly staff and good food. This was an amazing holiday 🤩

Jun 04,2024Overall the holiday was excellent. Organisation was up to OT standard. As someone who struggles with stairs I was surprised to find so many steep stairs. If I had known I would have chosen a different cabin. The food on board was very good but not having a choice was unexpected and unusual. I did the Split to Dubrovnik trip and was surprised to find we had to find our own dining arrangements so early in the trip.

As this tour had a number of elderly and slightly incapacitated participants, the tour manager was rather inattentive to their needs e.g. did not attend people getting up and down the steep bus steps and on difficult terrain. steps.

Jun 05,2024Very good guides. Friendly, welcoming group. Very comfortable hotel. Helpful to have a pre-travel meeting the night before for those of us who were nervous. I thought it was a mistake to have a free afternoon followed immediately by a free day. Would have liked longer at PuIa with more information.
